I called this vet 45 minutes before going to advise them my Frenchie had babies 7 weeks ago and was showing signs of distress including panting, weakness and her muscles contracting and that it was an emergency. I arrived and told them once again her symptoms and sat in the empty waiting room for 30 minutes before finally asking if it would be much longer because my dog was worsening. The receptionist went to the back and I could hear the vet say the following “we are at lunch and we need a break too. She has to wait . Either way she’s probably going to have to take her to a hospital, we can’t help her.” I lost an hour sitting there, with my dog in distress, while they took their time finishing their lunch. I can’t fathom how any ETHICAL vet would sit there and delay advising a patient they would need to go elsewhere to seek emergency care. The receptionist then had the nerve to tell me that she told me the appt was at 3 despite the fact I told her it was an emergency, she told me to come in, i rushed over, but they prioritized their lunch over a patient. I understand everyone is entitled to rest and eat, of course, but as an alleged VET they should be held to a higher standard similar to doctors with a duty to render aid. If you are a vet and your lunch is more important than ensuring someone's sick pet is ok, then you are in the wrong field. I am an attorney and there have been plenty of times I’ve had to skip meals to ensure client’s emergencies are addressed. I have never left a negative review on any business because I’m cognizant of the effect these reviews have on small businesses. However, this vets behavior was so egregious I felt the need to warn other pet owners.

Americas Animal Clinic is truly exceptional. It’s a nice hidden gem. Tania Carrasco; the Vet and new owner of the clinic is extremely knowledgeable. She worked many years with the Humane Society before buying this business and her experience shows. She is an animal lover and treats them with the utmost care. She treats your pets like her own. I’ve been bringing my little guy here since he was a kitten and Tania has always been very upfront with Treatment, cost and will tell you when a something is not needed. I find her prices very reasonable and her service unlike any other. Tania was even available to help whenever my kitten got into something toxic. She treated him and brought him back to health when he was in dire need. He’s so healthy and happy. Honestly, they’re the best. Don’t hesitate.

They are not professional, if you DON’T love your pet then go there. My cat was sick and I took him there for the first time, they gave him the wrong treatment and medications, three days later I had to go to another clinic because my cat was unresponsible, and there they told me that the medications that I was giving him almost killed him. Also I noticed that they don’t treat neither their costumers or workers well, the doctor is disrespectful with everyone, and definitely does not have professional ethics.

Great services! Dr.Tania Carrasco is so compassionate and caring towards her patients. Been taking my cat to her for the past 3 years. Her and her staff are so friendly is like family. Prices for care are reasonable.Thank you Dr. Carrasco and staff.

After the new staff and change of doctor this place has become my favorite clinic in Miami. The service is one on one and Dr.Carrasco really puts in the time to explain the process of what she is doing with your dog or cat and it was really a great environment to be in. The prices are very competitive with other animal clinics and as a costumer that has been going there for over a year I saw how the change ownership completely changed the clinic. It went from a completely neglected clinic to a now very passionate and hardworking one.

Recently, I took one of our Community cats (Kitty) that was bleeding lightly from one of her paws to Dr. Tania Carrasco at Americas Animal Clinic. I am so glad that I decided to take her to this amazing clinic. We were greeted by a wonderful staff and welcomed into a well-run practice from the moment I contacted the office to schedule the appointment to the time we left the office. I am very grateful to Dr. Carrasco and her staff for the excellent care they provided to Kitty, I was amazed how Dr. Carrasco treated her with so much compassion and kindness, even though she is a stray cat. Not only did Dr. Carrasco took care of her paw the issue, but she also gave her a thorough examination, vaccines, and even took extra time to clean her very dirty ears for a very reasonable price which I am so thankful for.. I will definitely recommend Dr. Carrasco to any pet owners that are searching for an excellent, professional, and needless to say a veterinarian full of empathy towards our little friends in need.

I have bounced around from Vet to Vet until I found this place last year. Apparently the new vet purchased it from the previous owner and she is simply amazing. She takes her time to explain her recommendations, does a full physical and makes you aware of the cost as well as tries to give you the best alternative possible. Her prices are competitive and the treatment alone that you and your pet are given are well worth it. Highly Recommended!
