I needed a last minute appointment for my kitty and they took me in that day within hours! They were all so kind and the doctor was very smiley! They even called me the next day to ask how he was doing! My new primary vet!

Everyone at the front desk is always very helpful and responsive! The vets are as well, I couldn't recommend this place any higher, it has such a warm and welcoming environment too. I'll be taking my cats here as long as I stay in Melbourne!

We brought our bulldog in for allergy issues because her current vet said there was nothing more they could do for her. My bulldog is just miserable with allergies and to be told she had to live with it was just unacceptable to me so I did some research and found you. I was optimistic that there could be more that could be done but was very relieved when your vet told us there are more options and that she would keep working with us to try and pin point the root cause and see what we can do about making Tess feel better. She did say that it’s possible that we may have to better manage the allergies but she offered solutions we can try that our other vet wasn’t willing to explore. I appreciate your vets dedication to making Tess, at the very least, more comfortable and even if this is “as good as it gets” I feel like she will exhaust every option before throwing in the towel. Our current vet only tried two things - apoquel and cytopoint (sp) shots. Thank you for a great first visit and I am looking forward to a happier, healthier bulldog!

In regards to the most recent review, I would like to share some positive feedback based on my own personal experiences at Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital as a previous employee and Client. As a former Veterinary Technician for nearly a decade, I have quite a bit of experience working for a number of Animal Hospitals across the State. Before advancing my career in Human Medicine, Eau Gallie Veterinary hospital was the last animal hospital I worked for. During my time spent at Eau Gallie, I got to see first hand how dedicated Dr. Retamozo, Dr.Marino, practice Manager Gemma, and every member of staff were to their clientele and beloved pets. Putting their patients health, safety and well being at the highest priority in an efficient, clean and fear free environment. Dr. Retamozo always went above and beyond for each and every patient. Never turning down a sick or injured pet. Even if that meant working diligently after hours to save a life, while sacrificing his personal time spent with his family. Typically it is uncommon to find a practice manager/management of a business working hands on, beside their employees. Whether it was assisting a Doctor during an exam or Dr. Retamozo in surgery. Taking x-rays, blood draws, trimming nails, answering the phones up front or even cleaning dirty cages and kennels. Gemma was always lending a hand and never shy of helping no matter what the circumstance may be. Her experience, expertise, and dedication to practicing at a high level of Veterinary medicine has been an inspiration to me and many others. I've never had a Manager that made me feel as valued and appreciated as Gemma did. I admire her passion and true love for saving animals. Not only does she go above and beyond for her patients, she does the same for her employees, her team. As a leader does. Lastly, aside from working at Eau Gallie. For the first time in my life I experienced what it was like being on the other side of the field. An owner having to make a difficult decision for my family pet. Without any hesitation, they scheduled us in that morning. The entire team was so understanding, kind and helpful. Although the final decision was inevitable, they tried every last avenue to help her. I am forever grateful and appreciative for the support and care my family, my beloved dog, and I received during such a hard time. If I had to recommend any Veterinary Hospital in Brevard county and surrounding areas, without a doubt it would be Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital. Unfortunately due to the Pandemic, times have been tough and life as we know it is a little stressful and chaotic at the moment. For everyone. We have to remind ourselves as human beings we are all responsible for each other. So be mindful of the things we say, a little kindness goes a long way. Our Veterinarian teams need our support and appreciation more then ever before.

Sent all records for both dogs to this practice and on first visit they OVER-VACCINATED both dogs by given them multiple vaccines they already had just two months prior. Ok ... I get it people make mistakes. I FORGAVE them. I schedule my youngest to get neutered...to my dismay I was met with the RUDEST most intense and unprofessional nurse (GEMMA) who is also the PRACTICE MANAGER?!?!?! I simply asked a front desk employee (male) if she is always "INTENSE" and he then informed her that a customer called and "COMPLAINED" which is not at all what occurred but that goes to show you how much her staff dislikes her attitude and mistreatment of them. She had the audacity to tell me that she went back and replayed the video and we were seen "joking" with one another. Ma'am you are completely disassociated with reality. You need counseling. I can list the multiple other CONS but I will leave you with one more to ponder before choosing to go here...even after the first over vaccination which should have never happened and the follow up surgery (neuter) the Vet/Owner - Dr. RETAMOZO never ever once showed for any of the appointments. How do you visit the Hospital 3x w/ a surgery involved and never meet the VET? Stay FAR AWAY from this establishment if you care about your loved ones!

Came here on an emergency for my cat. They were very understanding, kind and would see me same day. The let me know there may be a wait for walks in so I came prepared, however I was brought to the room and seen within 10-15 min. They were very kind, loving to my cat and thorough in her exam. Very attentive staff and nice facility. The vet was awesome, explained everything and very loving to my girl. Yes I would recommend.

First time here and absolutely appreciate the experience. Staff was very attentive, responsive and sincere. Answered all of my questions and offered recommendations without pressure. I tend to choose Vets based on how receptive my dog is to the staff - so EauGallie takes the cake. Thanks all!

One morning when I woke up I noticed that my family cat, Chonkie, had thrown up in the kitchen. I went looking for him and he was hiding in a place he normally wouldn’t. So I picked him up and set him down to walk and he immediately laid back down. I did this a few times only to realize he couldn’t walk and his ears were hot. I knew he was quite sick. I called the vet my family normally uses and they weren’t very concerned about this being any emergency and tried telling me I could come in but it would be over an hour wait or more and they were rude. So I researched emergency vets and called 3 and of those 3, Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital was the most concerned and caring so I immediately headed there. They had Chonkie’s records before I even made it there. Come to find out he had a blockage and needed immediate surgery which they did. Then he had to stay there for a few days. They called me daily and also answered all my calls & all my questions. They also gave me estimates on the bill whenever they were able. A few days later when Chonkie was to come home he was found to have additional blockage and was rushed into his 2nd surgery. They let me know and kept me updated throughout as they had been since day one. Chonkie pulled through the 2nd surgery also and had to stay a few more days. They told me I could come visit him and I got off work late and was trying to get there before they closed at 6:00 pm but I knew I wouldn’t make it so I called them and they said “Keep driving here, it’s fine.” I got there at 6:05 pm and got to spend a few minutes with Chonkie (even though they were closed) and was thrilled. In all, Chonkie was in their care for 9 days and they took such excellent care of him. I honestly cannot thank them enough. The entire staff was so nice, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and loved on Chonkie as if he was theirs. Not to mention, they saved his life and are excellent Veterinarians with a terrific staff, both in treating the animals and in the finance department. Chonkie has a new Vet and both he and my family couldn’t be happier. I’m so thankful that I ended up going there! I would absolutely recommend them! Honestly, they are better than my previous Vet who is well known in Brevard in experience, treatment of the pets and in cost.

I had a very sick Bulldog. He was only 1 year old and we had been working with another local vet for 3 weeks where he was hospitalized and all they did was continue the same medication week after week. They failed to follow the standard of care required and it took us brining him to Eau Gallie (second opinion) and the excellent service by this vet and staff that diagnosed the issue with the correct imagery and all within 24 hours with an approaching Holiday. Ultimately, we were able to finally provide the comfort to our bulldog that he deserved. The other local vet prolonged the discomfort by simply rushing through the visits and not digging deeper. Please make sure you don't become complacent with your pets care, no one knows your pet better then you and you should push your vet, to help them get to the answers, Eua Gallie was aggressive and did what was needed, I would highly recommend Eua Gallie and Eua Gallie vet will be the vet for my other pets in the future. Thank you Dr. Marino and Staff.

It was our 1st time meeting Dr. Marino. Even though my pooch was a bit nervous about what was going to happen I felt completely at ease with her.

I felt that the nurse and Doctor were professional but very rushed. They took care of Rocco for all his shots. Front desk administrator was very kind. But since I had not been there in two years should of questioned if my general information had changed. Which my address had...went back to correct Rocco rabies certificate to have correct address.

I had an emergency with my cat. She was puking a lot and that was very unlike her. Eau Gallie Veterinary Hospital was so polite, professional, and prompt. They were able to see me the day of and we really appreciated that. It meant the world to me and my cat that she was able to be seen. The quality of care is amazing and the staff are very kind and professional. Thank you thank you a million times!

My cat was sick, and they were able to squeeze us in on a Saturday, same day. The place is clean and new. The staff was friendly and the doctor very knowledgeable. Within hours my cat was feeling better from prescription injection and eating before the next day. Prices affordable with blood work and meds to take home. We're making this our regular vet.

They were able to squeeze me in within hours when my regular Vet office could only give me an appointment a week out. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the lady vetrinarian doctor was excellent- ouldn't have asked for a better experience. I am going to make them my new vet from now on instead of the one that I have used for years. Highly recommend. Special thanks to John for all his help in scheduling us same day.

I love that the Vet Techs call me Mom. It makes me feel more comfortable and that they care. Dr Marino was gentle with Remmy and very carefully checked him all over even though we were just there for an ear infection. I was in and out in a timely manner and they made sure I understood what was going on with him and how to take care of it.
