Dog Spot Hotel Melbourne, Florida

We boarded our 2 dogs here for a week during our honeymoon. All of the staff was responsive to our questions and our dogs came home happy and tired from playing the whole time. We felt assured that our dogs were in great hands and it took the worry off of us during our trip. The facility was clean and you could tell the staff really love dogs. We would definitely recommend the Dog Spot for boarding or daycare needs and will happily use them from now on!

So the first time we used them in July, our bulldog was there for 4 days and had to be kept in his room the whole time due to him being to sweet and others to wild he ended up with deep wounds on his face they never called gave the explanation of playfulness -took months to heal, why we decided to do this again… he went back on the 19th picked him up today the 20th for bath n nails, when in car I didn’t notice until I got home his eye was extremely swollen and he kept trying to open it in pain. They had tugged his neck so hard that they popped the permanent stitches that held his cherry eye surgery down for over 2 years ago. The only way you can do this is by pulling on a neck collar as what they use-NEVER WILL WE USE OR RECOMMENDED THEM!!

I cannot say enough about The Dog Spot❤️ I bring both my dogs there, one that has extreme anxiety and they make sure to keep them in small playgroups so they arent stressed. They are always so friendly and willing to answer any questions and do whatever it takes to make my furbabies happy! Thank you Dog Spot Hotel!!

My beautiful boxer Nico has been coming to DogSpot for daycare and boarding just over 7 years now. I recently cancelled an entire trip because they were full (I waited too long to call on a holiday weekend) and I won’t take him anywhere else. I figure it like this: could I enjoy my vacation if I was concerned about Nico? Absolutely not. DogSpot means peace of mind for me and fun for Nico—being an only child, he gets SO excited when I tell him we’re going to see his friends. Thank you to everyone at DogSpot who contributes to Nico’s care and my mental health!

Dog Spot is an excellent doggie day care and overnight boarding facility. I've been taking my dogs there for years. The staff is wonderful and takes personal care of every detail needed. My precious girls have loved them and have been loved back.

Very bad experience with this provider. Post cancer pup couldn't get a dog flu vaccine. This was explained and accepted when booking weeks before stay. One day before, we noticed a policy change on their website and had our vet call to check. Sure enough, no exceptions. If we wouldn't have checked we would have missed our flights for vacation when dropping and realizing we have no pet care. Horribly unprofessional.

Best boarding kennel in the area!! Do a great job of mixing private and social time. Dogs are always supervised. Boarding rates are very reasonable too. Will always go back there with our Afghan Hound.

used to bring our dog for daycare all the time to socialize and burn off some energy but now that the daycare package has doubled in price, we can’t do that much anymore. love that they now have daycare on saturday’s but not really motivated now to buy the daycare package. wish they would offer a better rate for daycare packages as you’re not really saving much

So happy I found DogSpot Hotel! I searched around the area, and based on reviews I chose to try them. I am so picky when it comes to choosing a place to trust and leave my dog. Anna made me feel so comfortable leaving him for the weekend while we traveled. She took extra time to chat with me, and even sent me a picture and video Groot when he was settled in his room. She was so responsive when I reached out to check on him. Looking forward to having a place for Groot moving forward. Thank you!

Excellent facilities, great dog supervision, and a staff that is very friendly. My 60lb blk lab/pit mix got a shampoo and nail trim this time and a great job was done by the staff. Highly recommend this place!

Our dog is a member of our family and when Buddy needs accommodations, DogSpot is where he stays. The staff is attentive, informative, and caring. The facilities are spacious and clean and there's plenty of space for a romp or a nap or to hang out with a new friend. Three years in and DogSpot is still our first choice.

Left my 6 m/o dachshund at Dog Spot for 3 days and nights and he came back super happy. Obviously excited to see me, but knowing he got to play with some doggy friends was great. Only reason its 4 stars is he was missing his rope and plastic bone toy on return, but not that big of a deal! Great place!

The only place our dog loves and is excited to go to. The only negative thing I could say is that it is very loud sometimes at the front desk. Other than that, prices, staff and experience have always been wonderful!

Best Doggy daycare and boarding in Brevard County. Been going to Dog spot since it opened. Both Professional and loving, plus beautiful accommodations. We love the staff at Dog spot.

I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate Dog Spot Hotel. I have a couple dogs with special needs that are very well taken care of at Dog Spot and the main handlers not only have a great understanding of those needs, but they also adapt to them to ensure they're in the right play groups to enjoy the stay without having any issues. There's no doubt that I feel much more comfortable when I'm away with my dogs in the hands of Dog Spot's considerate workers. Thank you!

We’ve used the DogSpot since we’ve moved here about a year and a half ago. We don’t go too many places (especially in 2020), but the few times our four-legged kid needed to be boarded, they were great! They are friendly, clean, and reasonably priced.

My husband and I are OTR truckers and have our 1 year old Chihuahua on board with us. We find even with his shots up to date we have a difficult time getting Tucker’s nails trimmed and grooming done without a lot of NO’s and sorry can’t help you. Truck drivers don’t know where they will be or when we will be there during regular business hours. I called many places on our way to Melbourne FL to find someone to trim his nails. Vets, mobile groomers and the like. I had family willing to take us by car from the truck stop to get it done and only one place was nice enough to say call in the next morning and we’ll see if we can do it. When we rolled up for our delivery I was thrilled to see the Dog Spot across the street. I called and they were fabulous. Karen may not have understood just how much her yes meant to us. I love my boy and will pay whatever it takes for him to get proper care and attention to his needs. Karen was so kind when I leashed him up and appeared on the doorstep in 2 minutes flat. I actually had tears seeing how much happier Tucker was when I got him back. Being on the road for months at a time can be rough but people like Karen and places like Dog Spot make it more bearable. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Charge you for grooming but never actually groom your dogs both of mine came home smelling horrible. I sent them with food and came home with exactly what we sent also full of energy like they never got play time. I would definitely not recommend.

A great place for your furry family member. This business is located off wickham road just south of Pineda causeway. It is about ¾ mile to the east of wickham in a business park. The building has a drive up area for drop off and about 15 parking spaces. The staff is wonderful. We have used them for overnight stays for previous pets and are using them sparingly for our current furry family member. We have been dropping him off for a few hours during the day. The staff has been great about making him feel welcome and putting him in small and large groups to help him learn his social skills. Currently, to meet COVID requirements, the staff meets you outside the lobby in the drive through area and does the drop-off/pick-up there instead of inside. The inside is always clean and they are friendly toward all the pets. I highly recommend this place if you want to let your dog have a break from you.

My Aussie, Georgie II, loves it here! The owner and staff are fantastic. The facilities are clean and beautifully styled. The staff absolutely cares and loves the dogs. My dog goes crazy with excitement when we pull into the parking lot and makes a mad dash for the doors to see the staff. I highly recommend this place.

If something happens to a guest under your care, you need to make it your utmost priority to notify the owner the moment you notice, not try to hope the owner won't notice when giving the dog back. We understand things happen but not being forthcoming when you see something is wrong leaves us to think something worse happened. The amount of excuses I heard on the phone was beyond upsetting.

Fairly priced, fast friendly service, due to the Corona beer issue, they are at the moment doing curbside pickup and drop off, but I guess that is going to be the new American way of doing business, until covid19 says bye-bye.

My family and I are so grateful for DogSpot Hotel! Our dog has received excellent care from the staff at DogSpot countless times. He’s always waging his tail when he goes to stay and when we come to pick him up. This past holiday weekend, was an example of the staff at DogSpot Hotel going above and beyond to care for our pet. While we were away in a different state, it became necessary for our dog to receive emergency medical care. The staff at DogSpot took him to an emergency vet, stayed with him for hours (after business hours) at the pet emergency facility, and then provided personal overnight observation and care for him — while keeping me updated with calls, pictures, and texts so that I could be involved in the decision making process and stay up-to-date with the status of my pets well-being. When I went to pick him up today, I was nervous about how much all this extra attention and care was going to cost. I was shocked to see no additional charges from the DogSpot Hotel (we of course paid the medical charges from the animal hospital separately). I contacted the manager as I wanted to ensure we paid the right/fair price for the additional time and services our pet had required and I was told “ No charge! Its my job to make sure all the dogs stay safe and healthy!” I’m so incredibly grateful for DogSpot Hotel and it’s caring and attentive staff!
