Jamie was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the care & love of animals. This was my first time there, felt very comfortable, to be in a clean & friendly place.

They may be "nice" (tone of voice if that's how you judge) but they do not know how to run a business. The front desk clerk could use some training in customer service and time management. She was all over the place.. too busy chatting it up with everyone about nothing important but does NOT communicate on what is important which is the reason you're there, your animal. Perhaps advise on the estimated wait upon arrival, that would have been NICE! Had I known I'd be sitting in their lobby for almost 3 hrs I would have left upon arrival. She then faked a phone call and did everything she could to avoid me while I tried to pay and just leave so I could make my other appointment. They could careless about your time. Don't go unless you have at least 3 hrs to waste. They don't communicate until after 2hrs in that they take at min 2 hrs!! My time is too valuable to waste with these folks that are sub par. You never see a vet and have no idea if they even looked at your pet or gave them shots etc. Not to mention my 58 lb dog that was uncomfortable in the lobby with other dogs for 2 1/2 hrs (just for a urinysis, I brought in the urine). Do yourself and animal a favor and go elsewhere there are plenty of options for a better more experienced professional organized staff.

They were all super friendly regardless of how busy they were. I'm so grateful they have walk in hours and made sure my baby (dog) was well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Dr. Mal and his whole team are rock stars, but Dr. Mal is the man! Our 12 yr old lab mix had a huge growth and shattered bone in her rear leg. If it was bone cancer she’s most likely going to not live more than 5 to 7 mths after amputation. Her X-rays of her lungs looked good but I was still doubtful. I had an appointment set for a doctor to come to my house to have her put to sleep in the comfort of her home. On the day it was scheduled my dog (Kaya) actually brought me a tennis ball and wanted to play…. Even with all the pain she was in and she still wanted to play! I canceled the euthanasia 45 minutes before the doctor showed up. I then immediately took her back to Dr. Mal for her blood work, hoping that would show me what path to take- amputate a 12 yr old dog, leg that could have cancer and still be dead in 5 to 7 mths, or put our beloved Kaya to sleep now… her blood work came back perfect ???? We asked Dr. Mal straight up what he would do if this were his dog? He gave a couple of different ways he could see things going but finally landed on “I’d give her a fighting chance “. Thank you so much Dr. Mal ! Even if thing’s end up going south because it was cancer we still got to see our girl happy again!! She’s happy, wants to play, and go on walks… to think I almost had her put to sleep. It was literally like a $300 difference in either option. Thank you Brevard aid to animals for making it affordable to have these surgeries and give our pets a fighting chance. WE LOVE YOU ❤️???? this picture is 8 days post surgery ❤️

This location is amazing! I have been bringing my animals here for years! Even through the pandemic they have figured out a way to make it work for their customers. They’re prompt, courteous, and do their best to get you in as fast as they can. We have been here for all sorts of services for our animals, and will continue to come here. The girls Allison, and Jamie who are at the front desk are always so wonderful! Savannah is one of the vet techs and she is just so sweet and kind and we really do love when we know she’s handing our babies! We know they are in amazing hands! Every time we come here they are so sweet and kind, and knowledgeable. Even when it’s crazy they are as calm as can be and very grateful to come to a place that is not only kind and caring to our babies, but also kind and caring to us! Highly recommend! Thanks for all that you guys do! Much appreciated!

Don't come here. It is not worth it. This place used to be okay 5+ years ago but its not anymore. You are waiting over 5 hours for a mediocre check up. One of my dogs was brought back for a checkup and came back 50 seconds later. No exaggeration. This time I brought my dogs I was there from 8-2pm to tell me there is nothing wrong with my dog. I tried to pay to buy some time and Jamie said nope sit down until blood results come. Very rude lady. Been here over 10 times and she has always made people wait for no reason. She's always wandering around in back filling things instead of checking people out. People come in and they don't warn anyone that's its going to be a 4 + hour wait. Jamie told us she couldn't give us pills because we needed a test, I took off work, came here a month later and the doctor said why are you here, he doesn't need a test. This place is chaos. Jamie needs to be gone. She isn't a people person and all I hear is complaints from people in the lobby about her. You don't make people wait 45 minutes to pay when we have already waited 5 hours to get seen.

They are very informative here. They answer all your questions and treat the animals with kindness. They are one of the only walk in vets especially after Covid so there is a wait but it’s affordable and you don’t have to wait 3 weeks for the pet to be seen.

After two weeks of not seeing my favorite neighborhood stray, he showed up at my doorstep with an open wound, a crushed hind leg, and skinny as could be. I took him in immediately and called so many different veterinary hospitals which all turned me away due to full books or not accepting strays. Emergency vets were asking for money($100-$200) to even see the cat. Brevard Aid to Animals told me to come right in. I waited around two hours for him to be seen and told the vet tech that I don't have the biggest budget to save him but I couldn't just let him die. The vet tech Jess was an absolute ANGEL and was so caring and compassionate to me and this sweet street cat. She worked out two itemized options for kitty's amputation , one being around $300 cheaper with less testing. I was given antibiotics and pain medication to help him for the next few days til his scheduled surgery. I am so grateful for this animal hospital and the wonderful staff for helping me try to save this amazing cat. A big thank you to Jess for all your kind words and help! Also, I have to point out that this is a WALK-IN clinic. I'm not sure what people expect in terms of wait time while going to a walk in clinic. I waited two hours for kitty to be seen, and about two hours after because of testing, paperwork, and other clients. They are doing an excellent job with the resources they have at an affordable price. 5 stars~

Great other then waiting for 2.5 hours for my dog to go back and be back for 10 minutes

Second time coming here, it is absolutely ridiculous how long the wait is. They tell you it will only be an hour wait, 2.5 hours later I still have not been seen. A half hour ago I asked how much longer and they said there is only one patient in front of me, still have not been seen and I’ve seen multiple patients be seen before me.

Misdiagnosed my dog. Took him in to get a bump checked out on his ribs and was told it was a floating rib and that it was nothing to worry about. Only to find out a year later after it continued to grow that it was a cancerous tumor and he now has a couple months left to live because it is now to big to get it surgically removed. Had they correctly diagnosed him we could have gotten the surgery done to remove it. He’s only four years old and his last couple of months are gonna be spent in pain due to them being careless.

I have been going here for a few years. I have been pretty happy until I have had to bring my dog back 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I understand they are busy, but I was not happy when I was told I could not go back with my dog or speak to the doctor. I feel the communication is lacking. The 3rd time back, I was able to consult with the doctor. I brought up some concerns to the woman at the front desk (I forgot her name, but she has been there since I have been going) regarding my dog’s records that were incorrect. I tried to rectify it, but she refused and walked away. This is very concerning to me; that something was put in my dog’s chart, but I was told something different was done. I sent one email; got no response. I sent a 2nd email; got no response. I just resent the 2nd email. I am trying very hard to get this rectified without putting it out for the public. I like Brevard aid to Animals and feel the prices are fairly affordable. I just would like these issues rectified.

I’ve been multiple times because a family member highly recommended them. Each time it’s an extremely long wait before and after your pet is seen. I just don’t have the time to devote to this. Today I had been waiting for 2.5 hrs with my dog for an annual checkup, a guy who got there after me threw a temper tantrum because the wait was so long and got to jump the line...I was still waiting but had to go to work so I decided to just cancel and schedule an appointment at a nearby clinic that’s just as affordable. Will be doing that in the future. Just doesn’t feel like my time is valued.

I absolutely love this doctor, but I cannot stress enough that there is almost always a long wait. You must plan to be there quite a while. My last visit was 3&1/2 hours, but again, the doctor & staff are awesome.

The staff was very helpful and kind. I went at 7:30 am and was seen within 15 minutes. They explained my options on the procedure for my cat. When she was ready they called me to come In and pick her up. Very good experience.
