Cats Exclusive Margate, Florida

My gf and I have tried calling numerous times to get information on a kitten we adopted (previous owner took him here). 3 or 4 voicemails, reached out to over Instagram, and easily 10+ calls over the past 2 weeks. Haven’t heard anything from them. I’ll happily change this rating once we can get some responses, but if it wasn’t for the owner actively responding to reviews here I’d think they were closed.

I was there the other day, they were nice but I'm sorry to say it's not the same without Dr. G she was the most compassionate Vet I ever used, I used her before she was even at CE she's the best. It seems like there more buissness now than compassionate. I'm sure the Vet there is good, but due to Covid it's hard for me to make an opinion since I never met the Vet. I understand times are different now due to Covid, but it's hard for me to hand my Kitty to someone I never met (that's just how I am) I will probably be looking for a new Vet that's in my area, since Dr. G left it's too far too travel since that was the only reason I went there was for Dr. G Sorry to see her go ????

Brought 3 cats to have them in the shelter and to be adopted out was promised they would be adopted out but these cats where never put up for adoption and to have the girl at the front desk tell me they threw them outside since they were born outside. These cats were found outside as kittens raised inside. I'll never trust this terrible place again. Please do not donate or help this "shelter/hospital" they need to be shut down before they hurt more animals

So expensive- I don’t understand how they say they are nonprofit and it cost me $290 to get two cats neutered and spayed, vaccinated and chipped. This is not a low-cost place by any means. I repeatedly asked for discounts because they charged me the $290 saying I’m getting a bargain compared to other places. There are 7 to 8 cats around my neighborhood that I wanted to bring in and I told them if they can give me a discount and I will continue to bring the cats but again I was just shut down.

My family and I take care of two stray cats. We feed them, make sure they are safe, and give them outside shelter. Recently, one of them had a severely swollen face. We didn't know what to do, but we could tell he was in pain. With budgetary constraints I was concerned about the cost of care but also did not want him to continue to suffer. I contacted Cats Exclusive, and they were amazing. They provided clear information over the phone on what would take place during my visit and possible expenses. They also referred me to other locations that could also treat him, in case my situation became dire before the upcoming appointment. I kept my appointment with Cats Exclusive, and I was amazed at how much they care about their animals and new patients! Our cat received wonderful care and at an extremely affordable rate. Everyone from the office staff, and nurses were professional and caring. Our first cat vet experience ever and it was better than most human care facilities. I want to sincerely thank them for putting my nerves at ease during the visit—I was preparing for really bad news, but they fixed our cat right up and he is now good as ever.

I’ve been a client since they opened decades ago. Volunteered and loved Lory, docta G and everyone. Was shocked they are all gone. Seems okay still, but no personal service anymore. You are a number. Can’t accompany cat into room.

Very busy place, they do try and squeeze you in if its an emergency situation, prices are very reasonable compared to other places. Sad to hear Dr. Grabowski is no longer there, as she was an exceptional doctor. She took great care of all my kitty's for many years. As a receptionist Amy is truly in a league of her own. She is certainly the best...very friendly, communicative, understanding and knowledgeable . She is clearly a great asset to Cat's Exclusive.

I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to get a call back or schedule an appointment. Guess there’s too many cats to handle.

Very kind folks agreed to keep an eye out for my missing cat. He did limp back home. Took another cat there I thought was near death, but they helped him to live! Fine people, doing a compassionate job! Great place to adopt a cat! Limited free parking.

A wonderful place for helping cats

Just want to share.. but I will not recommend this place to anyone.. I had a friend they went over the other day with a sick cat.. and they vaccinated this poor cat... Going well if the cat is sick you don't vaccinate the cat.. the lady TEC there was very unprofessional.. not even 15 minutes to you and I charge an amount that was crazy.. this is a sad place I don't recommend anyone to come here ????????????????????????????????????????????????

The best vet for cats

Staff is wonderful. Will be bringing all our fur babies for their health needs...

Had my babies spayed and neutered, full check up and bloodwork. SUPER reasonable prices cheaper then anywhere else I've seen. I love how they LOVE the Kitties in their care, they are FREE to roam round and they look happy. Very important to me and oh btw AMY is a sweetheart ????. They are SUPER busy but I would HIGHLY recommend. You can tell they LOVE what they do!!

I went in person, terrible service, they did not even listen to my question, I filled an appointment and paperwork, I never hear from them

The staff were great at their and treated me and my fiance as we were like family and showed us around for a cat to take home. I recommend anyone to get a pet from there. We got approved for a kitten for my fiance birthday and next week we thinking of getting another one for our cat to play with. Thank you so much.

I've been going to cat exclusive for years and always had good service. This time was more difficult because I had to have my cat put to sleep and I was a nervous wreck couldn't stop crying. They were so good and so compassionate trying to make me feel better and they are affordable. In this trying time everybody cannot afford what other vets charge and it's not like you have a choice to wait weeks when your animal is in pain. I highly recommend cat exclusive

Dr Grabiwski has always been the bomb with me now U hear she left n I am real disapointed in them she will always be a goid vet

Today I had the worst experience here. I felt judged before I was allowed to see adoptable kittens. See I am disabled and doctor said it would be a great idea. I met my first ableist today. I know I won't be hearing back even though I have nothing but time and love to give. I remember places would be excited to give up their kittens. My parents had less trouble adopting me. Shame. Get someone with empathy and compassion to work there. Or is it all about donations? Right after I posted this I got a call. Only to say I need a letter from the condo association even though I own and already have a cat. Or maybe a drs note. I read some heartbreaking stories in the reviews. I will find my next kitten privately. I bet they would fix that kitty if I bring them a SNIP voucher. Felt like a 3rd class citizen. Elitism at its f*n finest. Never again. Maybe I'll check into how many they adopt out and who they turn down? Join me.
