VCA Cypress Creek Animal Hospital Lutz, Florida

Need to know their limits regarding disease knowledge and treatment. Well after further review, I have to make a correction to my post. Hopefully those seeking treatment for your pet may find this information helpful. I'm in no way saying that the doctors at Cypress Creek are responsible for what has happened to my dog Charlie. Charlie was diagnosed with a MCT in July of 2020 and had surgery to remove the tumor. All was good. they removed the tumor and said the margins were clear. Meaning they got all of it. Come December he was loaded with them and his lymph nodes were enlarged. How did this happen I asked, and was not given a clear answer. After doing a lot of research I found out that these types of cancers work with the histamine in the body. So it is a common practice to give a antihistamine prior to surgery and up to 2 weeks after. None of this was mentioned. So did this contribute to the spread of MCT's? I'll never know. I have since brought Charlie to Blue Pearl Hospital. He was put on chemo and three weeks later the MCT's are gone and lymph nodes are shrinking. That's the good news. The bad news is that we had to stop chemo because his liver could not handle it. He is also loosing a lot weight and can barely stand. Not sure what to do now. Running out of time. Keep him in your prayers. Thank you!

I've been going to Cypress Creek Animal Hospital for at least 20 years now. The staff is friendly and helpful and the Doctors are great as well. Dr. Wilson and her team have cared for animals through the good times and the bad and I cant thank them enough.

It's cheap, but you get what you pay for. For me it was two unnecessary visits and three medicine regimens that she didn't need

As someone new in the area, finding the best care for my pup was of the highest priority. From the initial phone call to set up the appointment to check in to the physical exam, all staff was more than welcoming and knowledgeable to say the least. It was very refreshing and supportive. Prices were presented upfront and both the vet and technician kept me informed with every detail of my dogs examination. Definitely a life-long client.

For our first visit, the veterinarian was just great! However, we were disappointed to find out that they were NOT available on weekends (after 1 pm on Saturday) if you have a emergency. You are referred to another group in Tampa. Not our ideal in a veterinarian.

nice people but somewhat upset over their lack of notifications for their pre paid vaccine program. If you go in for something unrelated they dont let you know you need the vaccines then you have to go back and pay for another visit.

Great experience, very friendly & informative vet. During Covid, will bring your dog to your car to you when ready.

We love Cypress Creek. The staff is very kind and compassionate and they take amazing care of my dog odie, from the moment we walk in the door! All the vets and techs we’ve ever seen have been very knowledgeable and caring, and taken time to explain treatment options to us. We also trust them to take care of Odie when we travel. Great place! We do recommend them to all our friends!

They deserve a -1 star. I took my sisters dog this afternoon and from the start they were extremely rude. Telling me to go outside because they don't know if she is contagious or not. the title in there business is called Cypress Creek "Animal Hospital". Don't call yourself a hospital if you don't have a protocol for emergencies. Personally I thought it was a front business for something else, that is how bad they made the experience for me. The tech couldn't draw blood right, most likely hurting my sisters dog in the process. They had the nerve to over charge for services that weren't properly handled correctly. A monkey could do a better job than any of these people have done. UPDATE ON 2/28/2019 I saw Stacy' s review and it appears to be on other sites. How do I know that you are not working there. I got proof that I was there as a client. I believe that she is fake just like her review.

The team at Cypress Creek Animal Hospital has been fantastic with our two fur babies Chachi and Fifi. Both of are advanced age and we are having to make more trips to the vet for their health needs. Every experience has been great, very glad we found them!

I just switched vets to Cypress Creek AH and I'm so happy with them! They are a no fear vet office and help from making a visit stressful on my animals. The staff is friendly and fantastic. The vet I've been seeing is caring and knowledgeable.

Dr. Amy Wilson and the staff at CCAH are the best! My fur-babies are treated with the utmost care, and Dr. Wilson's follow-up calls are so appreciated! Excellent and compassionate veterinary care!

I’ve been bringing my pets to Cypress Creek Animal Hospital for about twenty years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is highly trained and has always taken the time to answer my questions and determine the best care for my pets. When my pets have required surgery or were left there for the day, the vet and techs have kept me informed. My cat recently had dental surgery and I knew he was in good hands when I left him there. Thank you to Dr. Wilson, Kendra, Stef, Rachel, and all the staff.

Very special people work here. They care for your fur babies as if they were your own. My baby Max passed 10 months and they were very understanding.

My dog was brought in for a cough and to have her nails cut. They were unable to cut her nails because she was “too excited,” she is a small dog but they couldn’t even hold her to complete the task so she was sent home with half her nails …

It starts with Kendra at the reception desk who is always a pleasure to see and cares about your 4 legged kids. Dr. Wilson is amazing and informative. Glad we switched here 6 years ago.
