We’ve been going to jakes since my dog was a pup, and each time we go it’s a pawsitive experience. The employees ask you if you need help with something, they recommend different products. They’ve helped us find the right collar for our dog, and the best tasting treats for her too. Employees are all nice and welcoming, they even give treats!

Jake’s is a gem! They have it all and I was thoroughly impressed with their selection, organization and friendliness. They carry so many different brands and I was able to purchase a relatively smaller name dog food brand that I usually have to buy direct. I personally appreciated the effort they take to sanitize their shopping carts as well. I will happily return!

i love the store.,they have different things & probiotic treats which is what I need & actually drive there from Delray ,FYI they also deliver .Alex was also very helpful & they ha e a nice staff .

This place is amazing, large variety of brands to choose from. The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. The products you purchase are stored under your profile in there computer system. They do home deliveries which is even better considering you can just pick up the phone and say "hey I would like to place an order for home delivery and get exactly everything I purchased the last time I was in the store". I would advise you to make a list before you get there because the Shopping Plaza has no cellular service so you can't call home.

I love Jake's! I found out about this store when I started working at a rescue. We buy all of our food and treats from Jake's. They are so helpful, kind, and generous. I also love shopping there for my own dogs. They are always loved on as if they were the employees own dog. They only have top quality products so I don't have to worry about reading the ingredients and making hard choices.

I live in Boca so I take advantage of their free delivery service (minimum order required). It's easy to order online, and if you don't see what you're looking for, give them a call and they'll check their stock. Always super nice on the phone. And the one time there was a slight hiccup, the owner, Stacy, stepped up and made it right with a smile. I've recommended this store many times to my neighbors and friends. Two thumbs up!

Clean store with quality products. Harry is a great and knowledgeable and was very patient and helpful to show us what he recommended and why in comparison to what we normally buy.

I placed my first order for dog food delivery at approximately 1AM and it was just delivered right to my door. My bad back and I appreciate it very much lol. I will definitely be a return customer

Staff is beyond helpful!!! Love the variety and anything they don't have they always try to help you get. One of my dogs has a lot of allergy issues so it was great to finally find food that agrees with her. I get a delivery every Friday, it has truly been the best!

My poor kitty is near the end, I went to jakes for soft food, extremely helpful, took our time selecting food she would eat, plus goats milk. I appreciate the compassion and professionalism they offered. I will be back. Thank you

I recently learned my cat has a lot of serious food allergies, which causes him to scratch off and lose his fur and because he’s older he doesn’t qualify for immunosuppressive therapy. The only chance for him was a very restrictive diet. Jakes offers several food limited ingredient brands you can’t find in a regular pet store. I now have my cat eating Rawz brand wet food and freeze dried nuggets with probiotics. Without Jake’s he would have been put down.

I have been coming to Jakes since they opened. I mainly started going there as they were the best price for the dog food I was giving my pup, so naturally I continued to go there. Anytime I had food concerns, special diets/needs, they were always so great with giving recommendations. The best part, if their recommendation does not go over well with the animal, they offer refunds- which is great. Aside from being a local business, they have great food, treat, toy and treat selections. I will only go to Jakes! I love them so much that I am getting ready to switch my dogs food over to a new brand that I made sure Jakes carries it first. Which they do, at a better price than the other local pet stores in the area.

Great local pet store! We went in because our pup is allergic to grass and wanted something that would help with itching. Someone came up to us and asked if we needed any help, advised her of what was going on with our pup and she took us right where we needed to be, suggested two products. She was very informative, helpful and caring. They should have more stores like this. Keep up the great work!
