Our jack russell passed after 18 years and after 3 months we decided to try fostering. Maarvelous Pet Rescue has a brother sister combo and we fell in love at first sight. For the past 5 years Max and Mini have been our constant joy. If you are not sure about a pet, try fostering and they will work with you to make sure you get a good pet that fits your lifestyle. They may seem strict to some folks but this guarantees you get a good pet that has been fully vetted and works for you. Most fosters have come from surrenders or difficult homes and it takes a special heart and time to work to heal them. They explain where the pet comes from and what issues it may have if any. The costs with adoption vary depending on medical needs of each animal. This is a non profit and sometimes the vet bills are huge to get a pet back to health. For those they do special donation drives. I have two dogs from them, have donated when possible because I see the work they do. All animals are fostered not caged in a building. Each foster works with the pet until they are adopted. I feel blessed that this organization is so well run and so many get rescued.

I have been fostering dogs for about 6 years now and this is the by far the best rescue I have worked with. It is rare to find an organization so supporting and as easy to work with as MarrVelous Pet Rescue & Adoptions. They have the supplies, they have the knowledge, they have the volunteer force, they have everything you need to be a successful foster parent to as many pups as you like. It is a very wonderful organization. MPR not only is a great organization to foster for but, they are a great organization to adopt from. When you foster/adopt from MPR you know your animal will have received so much love and the best care possible. This is an amazing, dedicated, and passionate group of individuals who truly care about rescuing dogs! As a foster, saying goodbye can be the toughest part, but it gives me great comfort knowing that MarrVelous Pet Rescue does an amazing job placing the dogs with a family that is a great FUREVER fit for the animal. Great organization, dogs are foster based for adoption. This is not a shelter situation. All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.

We Love our Charlie! Marvelous Pet Rescue has a wonderful staff who takes time to know their rescuers and pairs them with a great rescue!

A great place to adopt a pet, we got our girl “Ginger” here. The staff is great and very caring. They go out of they way to take care of the animals and find them a home. Even if you don’t adopt from them keep them in mind when when you have a little or a lot of extra money. They can use it and really put it to very good use.

I am a Keys resident, local business owner & have a Tremendous Heart & Great Love for all animals. I have heard many Terrific things about Marrvelous Pet Rescue from many people including so many of my customers. I know they have accomplished so much for such a great cause & how they continue to do so everyday therefore I have decided to plan a fundraising event to raise funds for this Outstanding organization. I recently read a review written by a Maura Foxtrot who is obviously taking a personal vendetta she has out on all of the pets who can be helped by Marrvelous Pet Rescue. Perhaps she doesnt understand how her intentions to keep people from supporting this great organization is only Hurting the animals. In my opinion it is Animal Cruelty to publicly humiliate & bad mouth an organization whos sole purpose is to help pets in need. Maura Foxtrot, I am kindly requesting that you rethink about the Animals & how your words may effect the life of a helpless little animal in need of food &/or a home.

Great organization that provides foster care for animals in need and helps to find them furrever homes

We had to most wonderful experience when we adopted Winnie. We were told she was a hound terrier mix but many experts tell us she is absolutely a Rodesia ridgeback and we looked it up on the computer and she is exactly like one even to the little bit off white of tips of her toes to the little strip of white on her chest. I swear she is a genius , she learns so fast for such a young dog and she is absolutely beautiful. Her fur is slick like velvet and her personality is super. She is in love with us and we are in love with her. I can't thank you enough for letting us adopt her and I hope everyone has the same experience as we have had by adopting a wonderful dog from you. By the way look up rodesia ridgeback on the computer and that is Winnie. We have a huge fenced in lot and she loves to run all around as fast as she can and then jumps into the pool. She play 24 hours a day and since we are retired we have plenty of time to play with her. Sorry to go on so but I just can't say enough about Winnie.
