Excellent experience! Just finished Basic Manners and Mindy was a patient and knowledgeable instructor. She was always positive and took the time to work with each dog/owner. I would recommend for anyone looking for a dedicated dog trainer. Thanks Mindy!

The trainer we had paid very little attention in how we were doing, didn't seem to care at all to correct/advise us. They very rarely demonstrated the commands with a dog!!! PetSmart puppy classes were much better than their Basic Obedience class. When I got to intermediate class at Obedience Training Club Palm Beach County I had the confirmation of how bad our training at Lucky Dog was. My dog is super behind the other dogs that did basic training at OTCPBC and I am now taking some private classes to catch up. Don't waste your money at Lucky Dog (which is the most expensive place) and go straight to OTCPBC for good and efficient dog training! The two stars goes to their very nice facilities.

Could not get past and answering service wanting to argue with me that there's no one I could speak to about the services they provide. Put me on hold for over 5 minutes never got back to me and then told me I can't speak to anyone to answer questions. Not a good way to start first impressions of a place and to think someone recommended them. If there was a negative button I would leave a negative star

We have been going to Lucky dog for a few months. We started with puppy class which was an excellent introduction to training and socialization. We followed that up with Focus Foundation that built on what we learned in puppy class. It is amazing how much our puppy has learned from these classes. Our puppy was a bit hesitant at the first class, but by the time we were done, you could tell he enjoyed being there. Our instructor for both classes was Mindy and she was great at explaining how to motivate your dog to respond to your commands. It is as much as owner training class as a dog training class. Knowing what motivates you dog and setting realistic expectations so your dog can be successful are a couple of keys points I have taken from these classes. We plan to continue training at Lucky Dog. I cannot recommend Lucky Dog enough!!!

We have a new golden doodle puppy and we needed some guidance with her. Heard good things about this place. Mindy came to our place. Not only did she charge an exhorbitent rate for a one hour lesson but also a trip charge even though we live not far from the facility. As a trainer she was horrible and made sure she left exactly on the hour. She even called me by a wrong name. I would not recommend this place at all

I've gone to Lucky Dog for two classes -- Ideal Puppy and Focused Obedience. The small class sizes allow for good social interaction of the puppies in the Ideal Puppy class and a lot of personal attention from the trainers. All training is based on positive association and rewards and the trainers did a great job teaching ME how to teach my dog. In my case, I have a puppy from a service dog organization with some specific program requirements, and the trainers did a great job in accommodating our needs. The large training rooms provide a safe environment for training and plenty of room for each dog/owner to have space to practice during class.

We took our dog for puppy socialization class and the dog and our entire family loved the experience. Bucky loves to play with other dogs now and we learned some great tactics to calm our dog when eating out at restaurants ect.! We highly recommend. Cheryl and Mindy were both great and teach positive reinforcement training.

I had a private consultation with Mindy regarding my incredibly shy, fearful dog-an adoptee with an uncertain past, but through his behavior, some of the sordid details can be surmised. She was able to get his attention, eventually, with treats. At first he would not even respond, due to his fright. She gave me some directions on how to reward his good, emerging behavior, and yes, it seems clicker training is good for him and will work. My goal is to have him be able to walk among people other than myself without pulling away in fear. Mindy gave me information on what might be reasonable timelines, considering his level of damage. He has a very sweet personality, and has started to show his true GSP opportunistic side by leaping on the sofa and snagging a chicken leg when I went into the kitchen, This is the first time he has ever done that so I suppose he is gaining confidence. Luckily, he put up no struggle as I said NO and took it right out of his mouth. I will most likely return to Lucky Dog when my circumstances allow. Until then let me say that Mindy has an understanding of my dog and his current situation and gave me very practical advice and insight. Very happy!!

Not a fan. We paid for training, went once and would not go back. Our puppy did not respond well to methods they were using. We went elsewhere to a different type of program and it worked well. The clicker training is not for everyone. Classes should be separated by age and size/breed of dog. Our dog (under 40 pounds) was terrified of a larger doberman and another larger dog in the training - hard to work with them when they're afraid to be there and the trainer is not trying to keep the larger dogs away from the smaller ones. NOTE: I called and left voicemails a few times and also emailed about this SEVERAL months ago - I only get a response after posting the truth about my experience with the business. We paid for something we did not get, husband and I were not happy with the place, our dog, and second dog we got responded very well to other training. We've moved on.

We had so much fun in class. It was rewarding to see Flash's progress. The Fido fun and games class was great. We enjoyed learning some new tricks. I also discovered Flash's hidden love of agility. Hopefully we can attend a starter agility class soon.

Before coming to Lucky Dog and meeting Mindy, our everyday walks with our dog were a nightmare. He was extremely leash reactive to both people and other dogs. Mindy explained why this reaction was happening and taught us the tools we needed to begin working with our dog to change his behavior. Mindy was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. I am so excited to say that we just finished the reactive dog class with amazing success. I was able to take our dog to Abacoa and be around other people and dogs with zero reactivity. I never imagined this would be possible. Thank you Mindy and Lucky Dog Sports Club!!!

Awesome facility, great staff, strict supervision, excellent techniques used during Reactive Dog class. HIGHLY recommend to owners of 'special' dogs in need of safe exposure to other people and dogs while learning coping skills.

Great puppy class with Cheryl for even an experienced dog handler. Pups get to safely interact, handlers learn correct technique and best of all puppies learn how to sit, down, stay, control themselves and play well with others.

I just want to say how much I enjoy using my Lucky Dog membership. The outside fenced in training yard is always nicely maintained. When it is too hot to practice agility outside, I work inside playing and practicing our foundation skills. There is always exciting classes being offered of which I have benefited as a participant many times. I love coming here with my dog and I want to thank Lucky Dog Sports Club for creating such a wonderful environment for all of us dog people. This place is the best!
