We have a Medium Goldendoodle named Dolce who was a little over 6 months old when she started training. Before she started training she of course had a lot of puppy energy and curiosity. She quickly realized her size and what she was …

Before I started working with Danny at Sit Happens I was at a loss. I had adopted a 10 month old standard Australian Shepherd and could NEVER have been prepared for what was to come. I have worked with dogs for many years, did lots of research to train her myself and was getting no where. She is a wonderful dog but so full of crazy energy that exercise was never enough to eleviate it (im talking 3 to 4 hours a day at the dog park playing the whole time!). It has been a long and difficult road but we have come so far since starting with Danny at Sit Happens. My crazy girl is so much easier to handle now. My dream is to take her to do a lot of hiking and I want her to be able to run free and know she will check in and come back when I call her. We have a ways to go still due to my own limitations, but I know without the guidance and dedication from Danny our relationship would have continued to fail. I cannot express how greatful I am for the chance encounter that lead us to Sit Happens totally changing our lives. All I want is for my girl to have a happy, fulfilling life with me, and now every day we get a step closer to having the amazing relationship I hope for.

Our trainer Danny was punctual, professional and personable. Our 6 year old retriever mix rescue is very well behaved, until he’s leashed for a walk. He is a strong 70 pounds and has pulled me down several times over the last few years. Mostly friendly with people and other dogs…cats cause a visceral reaction. We had to do something. I liked the name “Sit Happens” so called to get our boy some training. Now that our sessions have concluded, I am happy to report I have a newfound confidence when walking our fur boy! He is well managed, he responds well to the commands and is much less reactive to outside stimulus. Sit Happens uses a shock collar approach, which worried me initially. After feeling the shock level on my hand, I was less concerned. Danny was gentle with our boy, together we learned how to walk safely together. The collar doesn’t seem to bother the dog and he is still our smart, loving, funny pup! I recommend Danny and the team at SitHappens.

After reading all the reviews, I’m wondering why the training didn’t work for Clyde. Although I loved our trainer and learned a lot of tips, I still can’t walk Clyde on leash without him reactive to other dogs[the only reason he needed training] I was hoping to adopt him a friend since we lost our lab Susie but I still can’t approach any dogs for meet and greets. He is fine off leash. I did do all my homework and worked with him 4 times a day. A lot of money for us to be in the same situation. I guess Clyde and I are the only ones who failed training.

Ken has been absolutely amazing with both my dogs. He taught me many valuable skills for foundations in training. My boys get so excited about his visits. The patients, understanding, direction and dedication that go into the program with Sit Happens is just top notch. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Working with Danny was a wonderful experience both for me and my dogs. Maggie and Chubby are 8 year old ShihTzus who have spent the last 8 years doing whatever they wanted to do whenever they wanted to do it. They are great, loving dogs but admittedly spoiled. Walks were an adventure as they were hyper aware of their surroundings and barked and jumped at anyone that walked by or anything with wheels. Danny really had his work cut out for him as he had to help the dogs to unlearn ingrained bad behaviors as well as teach good behaviors. In addition, I was one adult with 2 energetic pups. Danny was so great with all 3 of us - patient with me, instructive, and lovingly clear and consistent with the dogs. I can't believe that it is now a pleasure to walk the dogs and I can even take them into a store. Chubby and Maggie have come such a long way. I highly recommend both Danny and the program. I will truly miss the lessons. I learned as much as my dogs.

We got our third dog at 4 months old and I finally pulled the trigger on investing in a trainer to teach him some formal manners. He’s a German Shepherd/Am Staff mix so we know he’ll be big once fully grown. We started working with Rayna on November 8th and have had 3 sessions so far. She has been absolutely incredible and I’m actually floored by Lucifer’s progress! I won’t lie to you that it is a lot of work for the dog parent every single day and being consistent in order to ingrain these habits with your pup, but Lucifer is well on his way. After the 2nd training session we had a rough week of my pup being incredibly obstinate. He also has some work to do with confidence and has a neurological issue making him very clumsy. He was quite defiant for the 3rd session, but by the end he was walking on a leash like a champ!! When I shared my frustrations about Lucifer to Rayna at the beginning of the third session, she gave me tools and her knowledge of dog behavior that have helped us work through the times he is being difficult. We have made incredible progress in just a few days as a result!. If I have a question between sessions, she answers promptly to clarify things. My husband was very skeptical about hiring a trainer because he thought the dog “would lose his personality”, but after seeing Lucifer’s progress over the past few weeks and seeing him be his playful self while still doing all the things we’ve been working on in training, he was blown away!! I couldn’t recommend Sit Happens (and especially Rayna) more!!!

David was superior in his training of Ollie our Cavalier King Charles. He showed us how to handle him and create a lovable dog. Ollie had a mind of his own but David conquered it. I can not say enough about David and Robin. They are excellent trainers not only of Ollie but also for us. They are very professional. I would tell anyone to do the two week board and train. It is well worth it. I am glad we had contacted Sit Happens and were paired with Robin and David.

The first week I adopted Benz I was very nervous and wasn’t sure how it would workout with him since he is a very energetic pup and had no training at all at almost 1 year old. Rayna came and analyzed his behavior and I can say he is a night and day difference from the first time we met her. She does an excellent job with adapting to how I want him to act and live on the daily basis. If she doesn’t have an answer(which wasn’t often) she gives all the resources available to her through the Sit Happens crew to find it.I now have three dogs in the house all under 10lbs that Rayna has helped me get Benz accustomed to. Benz and I both could not be happier about the training we both received.

Highly knowledgeable, very helpful, responsive and friendly. I would recommend Sit Happens to anyone looking for a positive experience. This is our third dog we have sent to them and we are so very happy with everything. Thanks to Robin for all the love she gave our puppy Dallas!

It's difficult to recall the days before we started training our boxer mix with Robin and Sit Happens. Our relationship with our dog has completely evolved. Our dog is reactive. Everything from people, other dogs, and any sudden movements triggered her. Robin came to our home and worked one-on-one with us and our dog. She taught us practical and peaceful communication and discipline techniques that we can use during focused training sessions and casual walks. She helped build up our confidence with our dog, and more importantly she helped our dog overcome so many hangups and anxieties she struggles with. This is has been an emotional journey, and we've never felt closer to our dog. Working with Robin and Sit Happens is the best decision with ever made for our dog.

Our trainer Rayna is the absolute Best! She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to our Pup’s behavior and she’s patient with us humans as well. She is attentive to our questions and is always ready to share advice and direction. At 4 months our GSD can: come, sit, stay, look, hi five, fetch ball, walk beside us with no leash and go on car rides with zero anxiety. We are currently teaching her how to comfort her human. Of course we still have a long road ahead of us but if it weren’t for our trainer, Rayna and her amazing skills, we wouldn’t even know the potential of our GSD. I have recommended Sit Happens to two friends already and will continue to show off our Mazikeen,s training everywhere we go and let everyone know to contact Sit Happens. Total game changer for us as Fur Baby Lovers.

Robin took my dog from one who was fearful and aggressive to one that I can enjoyably take to many different places with little to no worry on how he is going to act or react. She helped me to teach him the basics and loose leash walking, which has been a total game changer. Her training helped my dog to become confident in what he does and to not be fearful of other people or dogs. If I could give more stars I definitely would!

Robin from Sit Happens was amazing with our 9 month old golden doodle puppy (and us!). I’m not sure who really was “trained”, but either way it worked perfectly. Our little girl had no manners and was just overly exuberant in every situation. Robin taught us how to manage and redirect Maizie’s attention. Now we can take Maizie everywhere with us and not worry about her behavior around other people or pets. The best news is that she’s still super lovable to all she meets and fun loving. I confess to being hesitant to use an e-collar, but once Robin demonstrated how to use it appropriately as an attention getter and never as a punishment, I felt much better. The icing on the cake is that Maizie is excited (really!) when we take it out, because she loves to “work” for us and probably more importantly she loves the treats that come with sitting, staying, coming, etc. on command. I know it is a more expensive option, but considering this is a lifetime investment, the results were well worth the cost.

The whole program is based on the shock collar, not training. I called the owner after the first lesson and let David know that I was not happy with the program and he talked me into having another lesson, which I did. After the second lesson I let him know that the collar was making my 5 month old puppy aggressive and breaking her trust in me. He again said try again, the whole time making me believe that if I wasn't happy I could get a refund. After the 3rd lesson he refused to answer my calls or reply to my text. Very unprofessional and not a company that is honorable. Please do not do this to your puppy.

My husband and I cannot recommend Sit Happens Jax enough! We were informed about the company by another customer and knew we wanted to get our puppy started on the right foot. Danny Bungard showed us some basic puppy training and then came back six weeks later for the bigger dog training. We saw results at each training! We would tell him our issues and he always gave us a workable solution. Our Daisy Pig loves Danny and we are so grateful! We already had a good girl but now she is the best! Sit Happens Jax really gives you the tools you need to train your dog..you just need to put in the work! It's worth it!

We recently completed Sit Happen's training program with Jenna and are ecstatic about our AmStaff's change in behavior! Our 8 month old pup follows commands and behaves in at home/in public and around other animals/strangers/visitors of all ages. Jenna was also SO flexible with our school/ work schedules and personal events. We highly recommend!

This training is not just for puppies! We decided we needed to have our doberman puppy trained, but wanted some training for our 10 year old pittbull. Rayna was amazing! She was flexible with our schedules and with our move. She worked with Obi (dobie) first and he took to the training immediately. We figured he would, but when she started with Patches (pittbull) we were still very impressed with the training and techniques she provided. In fact she kept in constant contact about Patches' training. Patches has severe door anxiety and on walks she get anxious to get back to her space. Rayna helped with all of that. We still have to work with the dogs daily (obviously), but now I can place Patches when the door bell rings and she will settle down. We will be hiring Sit Happens again with our newest member Luna and are so happy to have Rayna back to train another one of our puppies. I was concerned about the initial expense, but it was more than worth it. I love being on a walk and getting compliments about how well trained my dogs are. This training system works and is more than worth it. You can teach old dogs new tricks. :)

Rayna was very professional and knowledgeable. We were very pleased with the progress our dog Brodie made with her help. He was being very stubborn at first. Thanks again to Sit Happens and Rayna.

Rayna has been a great trainer for me and my pup. She's very knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about what she does. She is always willing to help with questions and advice. If you're looking for an instructor for good obedience training look no further. I have a working dog line, and having an instructor familiar with their temperament and drive really helps. Thanks Rayna

Chanel and I just completed the training course that we signed up for. Chanel is almost two years old and she was controlling what I do, not the other way around. The personal "in home" training is perfect. You learn to take charge and maintain a fun and loving relationship with your dog. Danny is such a calm and knowledgeable trainer that he made the sessions easy to understand and practice. You have to be committed to the daily practice - even if you know what to do - until you actually practice the exercises - that is where the results happen. Each week we reviewed our progress and tweaked and fine tuned the training. I am so glad I reached out to Sit Happens - I can't thank Danny enough for all of the help and support! If you are having issues with your loving pet - this is completely worth it!

Sit Happens is great at what they do! Our almost 3-year-old dog is much more obedient and confident now than she was prior to the training and her separation anxiety has also gotten significantly better as a result (such a huge relief). Money well spent!

Let me preface by saying this is more than a review, it a thank you to Chris with Sit Happens. Although we have not completed our training program, it has been a little over a month since we started with Chris with Sit Happens. I wanted to at least write a thank you now, bc we have seen so many positive changes with our 20-month-old, Quincy. It has been incredibly hard work, but the reward is beyond. Today was the first day Quincy interacted with a large group of dogs since January. (Pics) He used to love to play, but was attacked a couple of times by other dogs at the dog park. He became anxious and a little aggressive towards bigger dogs. It was heartbreaking. We thought we had trained our 165lb teenager, but recent interactions with other dogs, anxiety when home alone and wanting to be the boss were becoming a bit too much. We needed expert guidance to build trust and a long-term relationship with our boy through a balance of physical and mental exercises. We didn’t know where to start. I was eating dinner one night and saw a gentleman with Sit Happens on his shirt training a dog. I was so impressed; I called the number. We were matched with Chris and now we couldn’t be more grateful. Chris is knowledgeable, responsive, professional, trustworthy, and most importantly - a big dog lover. Not only is Chris providing comprehensive and specialized training during our sessions - He also serves as an expert resource for our (thousands of) questions between sessions and whenever we are experiencing new challenges with Quincy in home or outside. As a first time Daniff owner, Chris was a lifesaver. Let me emphasize Chris is a lover not a fighter. LOL! He encourages us to have fun, engage and enjoy our boy with training. Chris is a truly wonderful person to work so closely with. I joke with my husband that he knows how to hold US accountable and work hard for praise and treats. LOL!! Quincy is always so excited to see him and so, so tired when he leaves. Its good ‘ol fashion training. It takes a very special person to be successful in the personalized training that Chris does, and he excels on both a personal and professional level. We are amazed at Quincy’s shift in confidence and behavior in all aspects of his life - from walks to interactions with humans and other dogs, down to being crate trained. YES, I said CRATE TRAINED. We are not completely there yet, but Quincy doesn’t mind the crate and has made it up to four hours alone, so far.... It's safe to say we would be struggling at home with a gigantic teenage pup had it not been for our on-going invaluable experience with Chris & SIT HAPPENS. Although we still have a lot of work to do and have not completed the training program, we are enjoying the journey. Thank you Chris & Sit Happens

I did not think it was possible!!! My dogs are walking outside! I have lived in my neighborhood for 21 years and these are not my first dogs, but I have been labeled as having out of control dogs. Chris is amazing! Both dogs are outside walking and ignoring other dogs. They aren't pulling me over. Best money I have spent!!! Chris is so patient with both dogs (and with me)!!! Thank you!!!

Robin was absolutely amazing! Brownie and I loved her. She went above and beyond to make sure that my pup and I got the best training possible. She was very reliable and provided me with an abundance of information to ensure Brownie’s success throughout the program. It’s amazing how much Brownie has improved. He use to bark excessively when people would come into the house and knock on the door but with the help of Robin, the barking has reduced dramatically. I had a friend come over last night and he barely barked when she knocked on the door and went to “place” and stayed there until I released him. Robin has worked wonders for my household. Working with Robin was a great experience. She is very knowledgeable and I HIGHLY recommend her. Thanks again!!

Michele has been wonderful with our dog Zima, who is very energetic and protective of our young son. Training sessions are individualized and tailored to address Zima’s personality and challenges we have at home. Michele patiently answers all our questions, gives us lots of examples to practice behaviors, and has helped strengthen our bond with Zima. We highly recommend her!
