Staff is amazing, our dogs frequently go for day camp and they cannot wait to get out of the car and get in the place. I love being able to watch them on camera and see how they are playing and interacting with their dog mates.

Worst, most unreliable service. MULTIPLE cancellations without communication. I have made and received confirmation texts for appointments they are unable to accommodate.

Very accommodating staff for a last minute stay when my hotel would not allow pets.

Our dog Leilani had an amazing time at her meet and greet at Pet Paradise! Everyone was very kind, professional and helpful. Maya went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. We will continue to bring our baby here from now on.

Honestly this place is a joke. So unorganized, they never can even answer the phone. I made my dog an appointment online for grooming & they cancelled it the morning of, didn't even feel the need to call or text to even let us know. So we drove 30 minutes to get there for them to tell us it was cancelled. I always come here out of my way on purpose, but I will never bring my dogs back here again.

The people are extremely nice and friendly and they treat dogs and cats amazingly. They play with the animals every day feed them on time and even will feed them your food, if you leave them food, with exact amounts and in your own specific way just like you would do at home

I was nervous about taking my shelter saved dog to be boarded for the first time so Bartam Pet Paradise arranged a free day care or discounted rate for a one night stay. I setup the one night stay trial run and my experience was all positive. From the drop off, to the attention they provided, to the customer service and the details on her behavior all gave me the comfort I needed. Thank you all. Stella will becoming to day camp once a week!

Dogs have so much fun. The staff couldn't be nicer, and it's a full service place, including vet services.

We had a get acquainted day here last week. Our pups loved it so far. The cameras are a wonderful feature to check in and see how they are going.. Unfortunately was not able to spy on our girl (who I'm most concerned about) because she was not allowed with the other pups. Overall good time before their 5 night stay

I absolutely recommend Pet Paradise. I have put my dogs at the university location and the Bartram location. My one dog is not compatible with other dogs and I am not charged an outrageous amount of money. I am charged the same as all other dogs which was a great relief to me as I thought i would never be able to board my dog. They treat them so well and spend lots of time playing with them. I highly recommend!!

Always feel safe dropping my boys off here. Well taken care of and they make sure to test our dogs temperament and let them play with their appropriate group. We have a 3 year old shepherd who is in their words a “party animal” and he gets to play with the younger more excited group. Our other dog is a 11 year old plott hound but he is very energetic so they make sure to let him play with the right group during play time. Our dogs always come home worn out and happy.

I left my super playful puppy here from Saturday morning to what was supposed to be Tuesday afternoon. I was checking the cameras Saturday and never saw my dog outside, when I called to ask if she was alright, I was told they were doing “inventory” and would release her soon. I did not see her outside on Saturday at all. Sunday comes around and nothing of my dog being in any of the webcams. I called again to see what was going on and after being placed on hold I see my dog be released into the pool area. The same group of dogs were moved from the pool into a play yard but my dog wasn’t with them anymore. She was only released one time in the morning and I’m assuming stayed locked the entire rest of the day. When I checked Monday throughout the day, I also didn’t see her outside in any webcams. Tuesday morning I called and asked what was going on because I did not pay to have my dog locked in a cage the entire weekend! I was then told that I must pay an additional fee for my dog to have play time outdoors. I immediately went to pick her up because I was not going to wait until her pick up time in the afternoon knowing she was locked in her cage. I have never seen my dog so sad when being picked up from a dog hotel. I will never be leaving her here again.

Sadly I can’t recommend this place, I left 2 of our dogs there for 1 week. When I dropped them off they were happy, healthy, playful. When I picked them up 2 days ago they are both sick with what I imagine is Kennel cough, Dixie has lost weight, is lethargic, and diarrhea, Ozzy is coughing, throwing up and no energy. I did call and follow up to ask if there was an outbreak and if they could reassure me that this is most likely Kennel cough and it will pass. I understand that it happens, and I’m confident that it will pass, my disappointment lies in the fact that when I spoke with the MOD yesterday I was told that there had not been any cases and she was surprised that we are experiencing this, she did offer the suggestion that just like leaving your child at a daycare, they sometimes get sick. I get it, reading all these reviews however are pointing in the direction that this is possibly an ongoing issue and it seems to be “covered up” when asked. I didn’t read the reviews prior to booking and I wish I had. I hope others do and I hope all of our pups recover quickly.

After 1 week my dog is just now getting back to normal. He was severely dehydrated and lethargic when I picked him up. I picked him up about 9am so he had not been out playing to work up a thirst, This was a cumulation of days with lack of water. We took him to the vet and she confirmed the dehydration and that otherwise he was healthy. They just did not keep his water available. On another note, I had made the reservation by phone and was told that because of the 4th of July holiday I would have to pay a $100 deposit. No problem, but was not told about the $12 per day adder because of the holiday for the entire stay of 5 days. Do not recommend and will not be going back. Protect your dog.

Called to make a vet appt. No one answers (shocker) and I left a voice mail. Finally get a return call, 7 hours later. Made an appt for vet and grooming. My husband shows up to drop off, there is no record of a vet appt at all. It is like this every. Single. Time. We will no longer attempt to use this location and we will go out of our way to go to University. Never a problem there.

While I understand that prevention of kennel cough spreading at kennels is not an easy thing to do, our dog has gotten it the last two times she’s visited this location. Due to her not yet being fixed she’s not able to interact with other dogs which leads me to believe Pet Paradise may not be doing a thorough job of cleaning the kennels between dog stays. I reached out and spoke with the management to which they apologized for the situation. When I asked if they have any protocols they fellow after being told a pet was diagnosed with canine cough after leaving their facility, she basically said yes they’d probably do a deeper clean. Not quite the answer I was hoping for (like notifying others who’s dogs are currently visiting their location). On a side note, I’m also not impressed with their report cards. Even after leaving our pups there for a whole week (it was our youngest first time away from us) we got no real detail on how she did.

As someone who spent just about 6 years working for the pet paradise company, I worked every position from "Resort Associate" to Assistant Manager, I would and will avoid this location from here on out. The only pleasant experiences I've had with employees here has been from the playtime attendants, maybe the kennel staff also but I can't confirm that. They are solely the only reason I've come back after the initial sign that this was a resort that doesn't pay attention to detail of the dog. I only bring my dog here when absolutely need to when I cannot bring her with me out of town; usually for no longer than 3-4 days. My dog has been referred to as a boy multiple times from front desk associates to the assistant manager, some of the front desk associates seem rude and bothered to do their job, I've had my discount not applied to a bigger bill visit, and most recently I was charged for a "high quality" bath when I was asking for a quick "go home" bath and was not given the option to choose between the two. Only finding out I was given the more expensive option when picking up my dog. I wouldn't be so upset if the services were fulfilled, I know what clipped or dremmeled nails look like because I have done, and still do them, and only 4-5 of my dogs nails look like they were touched. As I stated previously, I worked for the company for about 6 years, I know the procedures for quick baths to full brooms; and my dogs nails look as if they were done last minute before I picked her up and her ears were still dirty. In the grand scheme of things these are small issues but these small things are what we as customers are paying them to be paying attention to. I was told I would have an email sent to me the day after to explain why I was charged for the ultimate bath and did not receive that call. Not until I sent an email to the resort did anyone call, and due to my job I was unable to answer and call back until later in the day when the manager left for the day. When I did call back I was told a message would be left for the calling manager to call me back at a time where I could answer and have yet to receive a call back. Personally I tend to be a laid back person and let things slide; however I do not like feeling I am being taken advantage of financially and I do not take the care of my dog lightly. ** Edit** Because I did call after work the day after they left the message below. Phone went to voicemail and I left a message. I have not received a phone call or email since. I know the procedure is for staff to check voicemails at the end of the day or before the resort opens or as soon as possible after opening. so it was not important to find out why a customer is unsatisfied with their services.

I have 3 old small dogs that have never been boarded before. They were there 3 days/2 nights. The pups came home happy and very tired from the fun they had. The only con is that Pet Paradise is very hard to get a hold of by phone. I will trust my dogs with them again for sure. Thanks for taking care of my puppies!

(A) Our indoor-only cat who never had fleas in her life came home covered in fleas after two nights at Pet Paradise Bartram. Our dogs came home with a few fleas as well, but since they take Bravecto they were not infested like the poor cat. I called the manager to inform her about the fleas, and she became angry and said there is no way on earth our cat got fleas in that condo because there was no bedding for the fleas. The cat did not have fleas before she went there and we've had her almost three years, and she came home with a severe infestation. I expected the manager to say something like, "We do try to stay on top of fleas, but because we have all kinds of animals coming through here, issues do happen. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and we will bring the exterminator in to do an extra treatment." I would have been satisfied. But instead she yelled at me and refused to take any responsibility. Until now I only once ever left negative feedback about a business before. I prefer dealing directly with a business when I have a problem, but she refused to listen. (B) I had my two dogs in the VIP suite ($180 a night), which is supposed to include day camp. I boarded a large 85 lb dog and a small 8 lb dog. They completely forgot my large dog one day in her room. I never saw her go out that day. I did not check the cameras between 9 and 1, so I do not know whether she went out during that time, but from 1 PM Wednesday until 3:30 PM Thursday she was in in that room. That's at least 27 hours in solitary confinement! I began calling at about 4:00 on Wednesday but could not get through. I finally spoke with a reservations specialist who also could not get through, but left a message for the manager to call me back. They never called back, so I called again and the reservations people did get through. Even after I spoke with them about her being in the room alone they STILL never took her out of that room again except for potty walks until I picked her up the next afternoon at around 3:30! That is a minimum of 27 hours in locked in that windowless room. That is CRUEL. She was supposed to get day camp, not solitary confinement! (C) My large dog came home from boarding with diarrhea. She is being treated with Flagyl for possible giardia. (D) Here is my positive feedback: The lady who takes care of the small dogs in "Tinytown" is amazing and really took care of my little dog nicely during playtime/camp. Thank you to her! (E) However, the facility itself did not do right by my little dog either. When I came for the tour before their reservation, I asked if I could send along Puppy Pads for my small dog, who is paper-trained. They asked the manager in case it might be a choking hazard, and the manager approved the papers. Because my dog's needs could be accommodated, I booked my reservation. After dropping the dogs off, I waited an hour or so to give the staff time to put the papers down. (I was checking on the webcam.) No papers were down yet, so I called to remind them. I called two or three times that day, but no papers were ever put down. From the webcams I could see urine and feces on the floor for hours. When I called the next day about my large dog being neglected, I complained about the potty papers as well. It had been 29 or 30 hours since dropping off my dogs, and they still had not put the papers down. The dogs' room was literally like 20 feet from the front desk. It would not have been hard. Finally I convinced the lady to put the papers down. They did, but they NEVER changed them after that. I saw on the webcam the next morning that my small dog pooped on the paper, but that poop stayed in the room until I picked the dogs up at 3:30. My large dog, who was in isolation in that room, was laying there with the poopy paper nearby. This is unacceptable. I will not board my animals by Pet Paradise Bartram ever again!

This place is horrible! Your dogs are kept caged up most of the time. They bark all day and all night. You can not get anyone on the phone to actually tend to the dogs to stop the barking. I've had to put an industrial fan in my room to drown out the noise and the constant sounds of dogs crying/barking. The entirety of the apt building I live in will be calling the city about the noise ordinance and hopefully will cause someone to start investigating how the dogs are really being cared for at this facility. Watch your camera feed if you leave your animal here!!! I have recordings of the dogs at all hours barking/crying including 4am because they are locked up or left outside in the cages and no one is attending to them.

We couldn’t be more disappointed with our experience here. We had a good experience with their day camp and decided to board our dog with them. We boarded Kal for 9 days during a vacation. We noticed on their live cam a couple days before returning home he seemed very lethargic in the yard. Which is not normal, he is a 1 year old pit Bull mix with a lot of energy! When we picked him up we could tell within a minute something was very wrong. He had a ton of discharge coming from his nose and trouble breathing. After taking him to the vet the next day we found out he had severe kennel cough and was miserably sick. I understand that this happens but how on earth did not one of their employees notice this!? We were stuck with a $500 vet bill on top of the $800 it was to board him. When we told our vet what had happened she told us she worked for Pet Paradise in the past and quit because their standards did not align with her morals and ethics. She would not take her own animals there after working there. I was told by management that they would help us with the vet bill. When I emailed the invoice order I received a call saying they would comp us for our next over night boarding to try and keep our business. Obviously this is not what I was told the first time I spoke with them. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone after this experience and especially after what our vet told us!!

Our dog, and us, absolutely love this place. She goes to day camp there 5-6 days a week. She is sooo much calmer at home now. The staff there are amazing, and is always very enthusiastic when they see our little girl.
