We had a “My dog ate a sock!” emergency. Everyone was friendly & the vet came out to give updates. I am very thankful for the speedy & attentive care. The office is also very clean.

What an atrocious bedside manner Dr. Gary Johnson demonstrated towards his staff and clients on our emergency visit. If his Vet Care, is anything like his attitude towards clients; don't risk your pet's life. Seek medical care elsewhere.

This place KILLED our cat. Period. We took our cat in for diarrhea and fatigue, they did nothing related to those symptoms, only sent us home to “observe” her and call back if things got worse. Labs were done because we insisted in doing them and we were told results would be available in 3 days. Less than 3 hours later our cat died! … we went back to the clinic and then we were told that they had suspicion of cardiac failure the first time we went and tried to insist they had told us that, which of course they DID NOT. They did an X-ray after she was dead without our consent and then said, “oh she had her lungs filled of fluids” , when questioned about why the X-ray was not done the first time we took the cat in, we could not get an answer and all they said was “I’m sorry” …… please save your animals life , these people are animals themselves and only care about the money they can rip off of you. Taking legal action for their stupidity, ineptitude and negligence. I really hope they get shut down!

Worst place ever, apparently they are unable to deal with more than one emergency at a time. I would never recommend this place to anyone

IF I COULD PUT ZERO I WOULD! — My dog had soft bloody stool and was vomiting for hours so I took her to this ER only bc Blue Pearl was at max capacity and was told there was no wait. We arrive to the hospital, check in and are told the wait will now be 2 hours. Our room was given away a handful of times to other guests and at the 4 hr wait point I asked again when we would be seen. The receptionist said “that guy is putting his dog down so just wait for him. Few minutes.” 1. Inconsiderate of the fact a pet was having to be put down. 2. In what world does a dog getting euthanized take a few minutes. I would expect some more care from a pet hospital. A few minutes turned into another hour and a half and at this point and I’m given a doctor who thinks now is the time to joke after 5 and a half hours wait and my dog loosing so much blood. She’s taken back. Samples are taken. They want to give me a bill of $700 worth of experiments with zero clue what’s happening with her after her fecal exam shows no parasites. I leave bc I can wait for my primary to administer these tests to find out my dog has HOOKWORMS. I guess this hospital doesn’t consider them parasites??? Never again.

It's too painful to remenisce the details..the lack of care, compassion, and incompetence from the vet and tech were shocking and painfully. Be cautious bringing your loved one here. worse vet experience in my 25+ yrs caretaking for pets.

The doctor told me, without even looking or touching my cat, it was best to put him down. My cat, thanks to a superior vet and office, is alive and thriving today. Do not ever bother with these people. The vet techs were kind, but the bald doctor needs a career change.

My puppy had to spend two days here (luckily she’s fine now). The staff is amazing and I know she was well cared for. Every time I got an update call I could tell they were going above and beyond just medical care. They really knew my dog—not just her symptoms. I felt like I was guided to make the best medical decision for her to endure a positive outcome. Glad to have a happy and healthy puppy back in my house!

My dog Banjo had eaten quite a few large rib bones. They were splintered and were causing him some discomfort. The vets and techs here did a great job, got us in on a timely manner and did xrays to confirm they were in there. Had him vomit for a while and now Banjo is doing great. Very good service and the tech and vet while busy didn't make me feel rushed at all and were really compassionate. Also for an emergency hospital their prices were decent and fair, I have been overcharged for much less care at other places. Thanks again guys!

My dog had a serious bloat, and once I realized I was referred to blue pearl by my vet. After being turned away due to “not having a doctor on duty” I came here, they immediately took me back and did everything they could to narrow down the problems, once we did they advised me I could go to my vet to get bloodwork done and save some money. They treated my dog with the best care, and they were so polite and thoughtful. I would recommend 100%

brought my epileptic dog here because he had 6 seizures in 24 hours and was stuck in an epileptic state, not having control of his body, not eating/drinking water/going to the bathroom. our regular vet was closed (weekend) and blue pearl said they couldn’t take us. our dog was had been panting heavily for hours and could barely walk on his own. the vet was unconcerned and overall unwelcoming as a vet. he basically told us to go see a neurologist to see if he had a brain tumor. i had to ask him if we could get something to sedate him in some way and hopefully bring him out of this state, or at least knock him out until we could go to our regular vet. he did nothing about our dogs dehydration. just overall not a pleasant experience, definitely will never go here again. edit** would just like to add that a week later we had to put our dog down. i’m definitely not blaming this emergency vet but i can’t help but wonder if they could have done more for him. especially considering i had to ask for them to do anything at all.

I came here 2 nights ago due to an injury my 10 month old puppy had. I did read the reviews online before showing up, and I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical about coming here. However, I had NO issues at this facility and was very impressed. There was only two people on staff that I saw/was aware of; The Veterinarian and the Veterinary Assistant (Patty). They were both amazing. They took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood everything, they were compassionate, caring and professional, with not just my baby girl, but also me. I would recommend them and would not hesitate to come back here if an emergency ever arose with either of my fur babies again.

Called about bringing my puppy in, was told there was no wait. Waited 30 minutes then they finally came out and told us their xray machine was broken and told us to go else where. Wouldnt even look at my puppy. Terrible place, so glad my puppy ended up being fine. If it had been an actual emergency he probably would have died.

The staff and veterinarian are amazing! They saved my dog after he ate two thirds of my sandal which included a few tiny metal pieces. They even followed up with a call to check in later to see how my dog was doing. I am forever grateful for them!

They are very nice however I would never take my pet there again. They had the never to charge us $237 dollars and they actually put our pets life in danger by giving him a steroid when he has a heart condition. The doctor was terrible.
