Great place for small dogs to play and be loved while you are away! Katie and Paul treat your furbaby like their own! My mini-schnauser had so much fun socializing, he didn't even say goodbye when we left. He was happy and wagging his tail when we came to get him. I highly recommend Just Like Home!

Website says they cater to all dogs but they refused to take my dog saying they only watch "small dogs"

I have boarded my dog there on 3 occasions and would definitely go back again. They are very nice people and will take good care of your baby. I never worried as I knew he would be very busy with all his new friends

I drove from Atlanta ga to Florida and found just like home dog boarding and I promise you it was just like home they took great care of chloe and I want to tell them thank you. And anytime I am in Jacksonville I will glad to took her there..

They take extra care of my furbaby. He gets lots of attention and exercise there. He even gets to sleep wherever be wants, not in a cage or crate.

I have to travel for work sometimes and had to find a place to leave my dog. They cared for her, kept me updated, let me call and ask questions while I was gone and took great care of her. Furthermore, she sometimes has seizures and because Katie used to be nurse, she didn't get nervous or scared, she knew exactly what to do and kept me in the loop. I had a wonderful experience and would use them again.

So glad we found this place! Our dog was tired when we picked her up. She played and played. My husband and I are truck drivers and we were able to do tourist stuff knowing our dog was cared for by loving people. Thank you so much!

Great place to leave your dog! My golden retriever loves staying here. There is room for the dogs to run around outside and a doggy door to go in and out as they please. They treat him as one of their own and always give me a great update when I call to check on him. This is so much better than boarding your dog in a cage. I feel confident and comfortable leaving him here when my husband and I travel. Highly recommended!

This couple is the best!! We have had to leave our two babies twice in the last month for several days each time and they were not only the most affordable but the best for room to run, no cages, free roam of the property, etc. There are always tons of other dogs so they get to visit and play and even go inside and out as they please. Katie and Paul are so accommodating and kind, too. I will never take my boys anywhere else! It really is like home away from home. ❤️

A one of a kind place!!! My dog loved it there so much he did not want to leave! He made so many new friends and was able to have the home environment. Even got to sleep on the owners bed! Just Like Home boarding is the best and I would recommend it 100% to anyone looking for the best care for their dog. Paul and Katy are great people and are extremely knowledgeable about the needs and health care of a dog. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my dog in their care and love that my dog is able to play with others and run/roam freely. There are no crates or leashes necessary at Paul and Katy's and my dog is always in the best spirits after a weekend at Just Like Home. If you have a small dog and need to board them for a day or a month you could not find a better couple to take care of your pet. Katie and Paul treat the dogs as if they are their own. We have left our Corgi there and when we go to pick her up, she is glad to see us but we get the feeling that she would just as soon stay. I won't just take my dog anywhere. I was going on vacation and normally my neighbor will watch my dog for me, but they were also going to be out of town. They recommended Just Like Home Dog Boarding to me and said they had used them in the past. I spoke with the owner on the phone and he was very pleasant. We dropped off my dog and did not have any problems when we picked the dog back up. My dog almost seemed sad to leave and seemed to be having a good time.

My dog spent 4 days here. She just loved it. Playtime 24/7 in a beautifully landscaped fenced yard. I have a warm feeling knowing that my dog enjoyed her "vacation" as much as I did. I will be back!

We had a great experience with Paul at Just Like Home. Our two dogs did great. It was the only time we have ever boarded them. I would not hesitate to take them there again. It was great to have them stay at a place that didn't lock the dogs up.

We boarded our dog with Paul and Katie for three weeks while we were out of the country. We were nervous to leave him, since he had never been away from us for this long. Paul and Katie took such good care of him. He received constant attention, was well fed, and had so much fun playing with the other dogs. When we went to pick him up, it was almost as if he didn't want to leave! If we ever need to board our dog, we'll definitely be coming back. Our dog Suey loved staying with Paul and Katie. Although initially not used to having so many friends to play with, she very quickly adapted with lots of love and snuggles from Katie and Paul's easy going style and enjoyed coming and going inside and outside as she wished. They showed us photos and video of her having so much fun playing with the other dogs (not being locked up or stuck in a crate or small kennel). When we arrived to pick her up 3 days later, she was happy to see us, but not desperate to leave. We loved the fact that she came home happy, tired but not at all distressed by our absence. We appreciated being able to come by and visit to meet Paul and Katie a few days before our anticipated absence. So on the day of drop off, everything was short sweet and stress free for our dog and us. Thanks so much Katie and Paul.

The owners discipline the dogs by swiping them with a fly swatter. My dogs have been very well trained with verbal commands, physical contact is a horrible thought. My dogs came home with eye infections and bad habits (1 became an aggressive eater, the other became skiddish around food). Will never use or recommend them.

We are return customers. Our dogs are always happy here. No kennels, no locking them up, they have free use of the entire house and yard. No worrying about picking your dog up and them having kennel cough! I would definitely recommend this place. You can tell the owners are real animal lovers.
