The entire staff at GDS is very kind...with people AND dogs. They are good at staying on schedule but still take the time to listen to what you want and then make sure you're happy with the results. I highly recommend them even if you have to drive a little extra to get there. Great location right off 295 at Baymeadows. Parking is right outside.

I never write bad reviews anywhere but felt the need to write a review on this experience I just had. After reading the countless good reviews I was excited to bring my cats to this groomer. I have a ragdoll who does not like baths or being trimmed and a Persian cat who is very chill, however does have a history of tremors and seizures (seizures are very well controlled). Both cats have been to a groomer and have had numerous vet visits all with zero issues. The main groomer was very high stress and had an almost accusatory tone when telling me about the “risks” associated with grooming my cats. I wanted my cats to have some mats trimmed and then be bathed. For my Persian, they simply cut his mats and then advised that I should bring him back at a later time to be bathed as to not “stress him out.” When they got to my ragdoll she was hissing when they began to trim her, however this could have been due to them having her wait in her carrier as they trimmed my first cat and so I am sure this added to her stress. The main groomer did not seem to know how to calm down a cat and anytime my ragdoll (who is only 6 lbs and generally really sweet) would hiss she would jump back and treated her as if she was a wild animal. She cut 2 knots off of her that I could’ve easily cut myself and cleaned one ear. Due to the groomers reactions, I told her I’ll just clean her other ear at home. This company seems to only be comfortable grooming cats who are completely relaxed and will not cause any problems whatsoever. If I had completely calm cats I would not feel the need to pay a “professional” groomer to bath them. Very disappointment will not be back.

Wonderful and caring staff that took excellent care of my dog who refused to let me trim his nails. My dog was calm thru the filing process! What a relief! I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend this place!

We had an amazing experience with grooming our longhair Scottish Fold cat, Lucas. The communication before and at our appointment was great, we knew exactly what to expect, and Lucas came out looking so handsome! Every other Monday is dedicated especially to cat grooming! He is a very skittish cat that doesn't like being handled at all, and often sulks for days after his grooming. He was clearly treated well, as he came out acting very comfortable, didn't look annoyed at the world, and I swear he is pleased at how well groomed he is. We'll be coming back for regular appointments for Lucas.

This review comes after a less than satisfactory experience with a satisfactory ending. While dissatisfied overall (perhaps due to a lack of communication between myself and the staff, as there seemed to be many other happy customers coming and going). What prompts the review is their impressive handling of the situation and my level of dissatisfaction. The staff person I spoke to listened patiently and worked with me to come to an mutually agreeable solution. 5 stars for professionalism!

The young lady that works in the front as the receptionist but also does the nail trimming was so wonderful, professional, welcoming and friendly . My little guy screams and yelps every time he gets his nails done but he did not make a peep and she did a wonderful job. We will be back every time without a doubt. This place is a rare gem to find.

This place is amazing. Very professional friendly and they do great work. I have 2 dogs one large very friendly one medium a bit skidish I took them in for a mini spa treatment and my larger one had a concern that caught the groomers eye and called right away to inform me. Luckily it wasn't anything but it showed they actually care about your pets. My other pup gates his nails clipped and have had many groomers refuse because he gets defensive. But here they took their time and worked with him to calm him down and get the job down. Lol Get the Blueberry facial they love it.

I am sorry to say that Saturday 5/29 will be my last appointment. The last two appointments staff has called me and told me that my dog should just get a mini groom even though I had scheduled a full groom. This time the groomer cut my dogs throat and didn't even tell me about it. I am really upset that I wasn't even informed of her injury. This is unacceptable!

I took my dog Chloe in for the first time. She was very skittish but they were excellent with her.

Consistently great job. Even without specific instructions my doodles always come back with great cuts.

Took my Aussie there for the first time and will definitely be returning! Everyone was so nice and did an amazing job with him. He smells SO good, his coat is so soft and well trimmed. They even gave him a treat to take home at the end. Highly recommend them!

I use to love the Green Dog Spa but Customer service is everything! The way I was talk to yesterday morning by so-called the manager. Was very rude and disrespectful! I will never recommend ( that I would tell all my dog owners about the Green Dog Spa)or ever walk through the doors of this place again. Yes I called before I even left out of the parking lot to see who it was that was so rude. Very sad when the employees apologize for her actions and the way she talked to me. If you want your dog cut a certain way do not come here.

Quick and super nice staff. My dogs hate being groomed but the staff here does a great job at calming them and getting them out quickly.

Very happy with Green Dog Spa! Pepper was very nervous going in, but handled with love and care, and seemed just fine when all was said and done.Masks required of owners, and only one family at a time inside store. All grooming services performed well, and Pepper smells great! ????????????

Got a Call they are refusing to Groom my senor dog because he is too old. Do not go there if you want good service.

Took my dog in for a groom and they cut my dog during the groom twice, requiring 4 staples 2 each on 2 different lacerations. His lacerations were to an extent that we had to go to the vet afterwards and he had to get 4 staples, surgical glue and antibiotics. The groomer who brought our dog out said something to the effect of "there's risks with grooming and these things happen". They should have called me the 1st time they cut him and stopped right there, instead they continued to groom him then cut him a 2nd time. First thing when we walked in tried to make us pay for the groom which itself was not satisfactory, long patches of hair left etc. They did pay the vet bill but that to me is a given. Will never use them again.

Took my girl Selena in today. Bulldog pup at 14 weeks. Never taken a dog to a professional groomer before. First, you know dog people when you see them. Was glad to see everyone give her looks. They finished sooner than anticipated. Selena was in great spirits when I picked her up. She is still wearing the bandana they put on her cause she looks great in it. Her coat is SUPER soft, she smells amazing, she loved the treat they sent us home with and she isn’t treat motivated. I will be going back for sure.

Great place who treat your dogs like family. They also use the best products on your animals. Great dog Paradise for pampering.
