We left our sweet dog for 2 days, he really loved the girls taking care of him, great place, we will be using them again. Thanks Coastal for taking care of our king.

We love our vets! They're great with cats and dogs. The staff is friendly and affectionate with their furry patients. I highly recommend them.

First visit for my elderly 130 lb Great Dane. His doctor was great. They obviously care about their patients. Parking is easy and the building is well planned out to move the patients through peacefully. Most importantly they diagnosed the problem correctly, which was serious, and the treatment plan has been successful. Pricing is more or less on par with any others. This facility also offers a lot of other services like really nice daycare. We will continue to take care of our fur kids there from now on.

Coastal Vets is hands down the only place in the Jacksonville FL area to take your pet for all medical, daycare and boarding needs. The doctors are all wonderful and a very special shout out to Doctor Jacobs, our little Chihuahua, Carlito's favorite. He is also in love with Lauren, Wendy and K.D who work at daycare and spoil him so much that at the mention their name his tail just about flies off. Professional, caring, loving and dedicated staff. The entire team (front desk, techs, vet, pharmacy) are patient and attentive. They are very knowledgeable and continuously go the extra mile in ensuring the comfort of our boys every visit. We are so grateful for the high standard of care provided in every visit for over 7 years! Highly recommend!

My mom had her dog boarded here last week and he has anxiety medication that she also left with them to make his stay more comfortable and i guess they just left him in a cage the whole time and did not properly give him his medication because when she picked him up yesterday he had chewed his leg and feet and had an open wound on his tail, he had to be taken to their vet( NOT COASTAL) and they had to put him on antibiotics, clean and wrap his tail and leg wounds and he has to wear a cone for a MONTH. She paid $350 to board him for 5 days and our whole family is so upset at what happened to our dog. PLEASE DONT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!!!!

It would be difficult to put into words how incredibly great this place was. Having come to Jacksonville in a rush and not knowing a single thing about the area, we were blessed to stumble upon this vet/pet daycare facility. We had to bring our puppy when normally we would leave him at home with our primary care vet. From start to finish, the Coastal veterinary hospital was fantastic. The actual vet even called and left a detailed message for us about our puppy. Having called with short notice to get him in, Hadley took charge and made the entire process an absolute joy. The entire front desk Team was beyond accommodating and incredibly caring and kind. I wish these folks were based in central Florida, so we could use them there. I can’t thank everyone enough for jumping in with a helping hand. Heaven sent that day for sure. The facility is impeccably clean, organized, and beautiful. Thanks again for all you did, and congratulations for getting everything right in a very well run office. Each of you “Sparkle” in your customer service.

I love their vets but stay away from the company they use for pet cremation. After two weeks waiting for my pet paw print, the company did not do it.

My daughter Lauren Zeiher has been working at this daycare for about five years now and she never calls out she never goes in light she is one of the few that will work through pregnancies and come back to work the next day I guarantee you that she says she’ll do just about anything you ask her to she is a good girl and a hard worker I’m sure everyone there loves her just like her mother does I know times are tough right now but it seems like she’s doing so well there I hope there’s a wayThere up to the top because she plans on this being her career and she is a single mom with two babies

Dr Avery is fantastic! She truly cares for your animals like they are her own. We have a senior dog who has required extra attention and Dr Avery has been AMAZING! Thank you for everything. ❤️

They are very attentive to your pet needs and have always made the best due to health emergencies with my pet. Cannot complain.

The best vet! Been going here with my dogs for years and so does everyone in my family. Recently got a new kitten, he turned out to be quite sick and they fit me in their busy schedule right away and did everything to help me. Coastal Vet treats you and your pets like family. Great people, very clean, great service!

This was our first visit with a new bet as we just moved here a few weeks ago. I have another appointment to bring my other pup this week. The staff was amazing. Dr. Wilson was great with my babies.

Treated me like I was over reacting when I tried to get a visit for my dog. And said if I felt it was absolutely necessary they would TRY to get me in. Had been going there for years. Not one to over react. Found a new vet. They got me in and my dog had pancreatitis!

This daycare is awesome! They are super professional and take great care of dogs. They have ample room in the daycare for them to run and play together. The staff are super loving on the dogs which is great. I also like that they have vet and kennel options, it gives great peace of mind.

Great care of my dog. He was very happy. Issues are with staffing as they are confused, scheduled the dates wrong, took 45 min to retrieve him from the car and performed I requested services.

My dog Odin started going here recently. He’s got one eye so he can be very skiddish, and sometimes snippy at the vet. He recently had TWO acl surgeries, so that doesn’t help. When we met Dr.Avery the first time, she brought out peanut butter and asked “does he like peanut butter?”. Odin’s one eye lit up and from then on out he was in love. Sometimes I think he’d stay with Dr. Avery in that hospital forever. She has been nothing short of extraordinary with us. She explains everything very thorough, is super friendly, and treats Odin with his specific needs in mind. The staff is exceptional, and also very efficient with time. That is important to me. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Too much up-selling brings down such good care by kind people

The doctors and staff were very caring and wonderful. The passion they have for my dog is the absolute best experience I’ve had after not having very good experiences elsewhere. They took the time to communicate everything so well. Would recommend to all my friends and family. A++++.

This is my Favorite Vet in town. This location is a surgery center and I find the service always excellent. Dr Bissell is loving and patient. There is no better place for general care than Coastal Veterinary.

This review is specifically for Dr Lipp. We live in Orlando and was out of town so our friends in Jacksonville watched our fur babies. Our 13 yo Yorkie unfortunately hurt himself and our friends took him to see Dr Lipp. She has been in communication from day one (6/2/21 - now day 11) checking up on him and providing advices. After returning to Orlando, we took him to our vet who changed up his meds and that caused him to regress. We reached out to Dr Lipp again and she was so wonderful to respond with further advices. This showed that she truly cared/cares for the well-being of our fur child as he was only her patient for 2 days. If we lived closer, it is with no reservations, we’d take all of our further children to Dr Lipp and highly recommend her.
