We had to have our cat of 19 years put to sleep and the Urgent Vet here in Gainesville was so compassionate - our little girl simply closed her eyes and went over the bridge- they also did an amazing job- we wanted her cremated- they took her paw print, and also returned her ashes in a beautiful box - they also sent a card hoping we were okay- can’t say enough about the staff and care we received - thank you so much

Today I brought in my 13 yo red Golden to Urgent Care. She had swallowed an entire Yak Cheese chewy (very solid) earlier in the day. I had tried Peroxide according to AKC instruction with no result. After consulting my vet we found ourselves at Urgent Vet. Even though there was a wait the staff repeatedly checked on us which was much appreciated. Once seeing the vet who was professional, thorough, not rushed, kind and sweet with my senior dog; we made a decision to allow the gastric juices to dissolve to chew. If she becomes distressed in any way, we will return ASAP. All in all I highly recommend Urgent Vet. Note: This visit was very inexpensive compared to an ER.

We had to take our 5 yo Labrador in to be seen. He was non weight bearing on his front leg after playing. We pre- registered on line so our information was with them by the time we arrived. We were very pleased with our tech Alex, who promptly helped us get Mason out of the car. And his thorough intake of information. He was very gentle with our boy .Mason was clearly in pain. Dr.Luria was very pleasant and did a thorough examination. Mason was very comfortable with them during the entire exam. He gave his doggie kisses to both Dr.Luria and Alex. Dr. Luria gave us her impression of what our boy was dealing with. She gave us choices on treatment. We are very pleased with our visit tonight to Urgent Vet, we left there with clear instructions for Masons care and without emptying our wallet! We would highly recommend them for all. The people are so kind and caring. The facility is clean. While the wat was very long, to me it just meant that the take their time with everyones precious furbabies. I would recommend them to anyone.

This was easily the best experience I could have possibly had. Staff was so kind, it’s affordable in comparison to other “urgent” or “emergency” vet options in town. They’re transparent, sweet, and answered all 10 billion questions we had without seeming annoyed. I’m sure they were, but they didn’t let it show. I hope not to have another emergency experience with my pets but if I do, this is definitely where I’m taking them.

Very pleased with our experience. Upon our arrival, Jen escorted us to a room and checked Lil Girl. Jen was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We took our beloved Duke here yesterday and the outcome was difficult, but the techs and Dr. Grove were the very best. They were all so kind and gentle with our boy. All of them were very skilled and knowledgeable. We thank you from the bottom of our heart for everything. I would highly recommend them!

Dr Luria & Jenn were so amazing tonight with our fur baby, Ne-Yo! He was so comfortable with them even though he was very stressed. They got us right in, got right down to the problem, and before we left there, my little man felt better! We will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone! Was referred here by my vet for after hours care. I reserved my spot online. Upon arrival I called to let them know we arrived and they brought us to our room. They were very knowledgeable and attentive to my dogs needs. He seems to be feeling better already. The prices are affordable. I would highly recommend them to anyone with an after hours emergency.

Very caring and informative staff.

They provided everything we needed and clearly loved our pup. It’s always tough to see someone who is not our vet, but this place made us feel very relaxed. Dr. Luria & Jenn were a fabulous team and clearly very knowledgeable and experienced.

I’m not afraid of urgent care anymore! I was expecting a whopping bill & a ton of tests but Dr. Luria was thorough & proceeded cautiously instead of pushing for tests & treatments that we didn't need. All of my pets needs were addressed. I feel better about the prognosis. Fantastic staff as well!

Doctor was nice but did not have the resources to treat my animal should have told me I would have to go somewhere else before spending 400$ on what I already knew.

Dr. Luria was extremely knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate. I'm a nurse, so I have a working knowledge of lab values and disease processes, but Dr. Luria took the time to explain and break down an explanation in layperson's terms, making notes for me so that I had a clear understanding I could reference to our regular vet. She really was patient and thorough in her discussion with me, addressing my questions and concerns in detail. The treatment my kitten received was comprehensive, and I was given options and a cost estimate in advance. I'm grateful for the treatment and plan we received, and I would recommend Urgent Vet without hesitation!

Great people. We were concerned about our tortoiseshell girl having something in her itty bitty toe beans and they told us it was likely just extra skin.

Coco was sick and they were very professional, courteous and fast.

Urgent vet was absolutely amazing, easy to sign in and speedy service. Came out to look my girl over and did exam right in lobby after my girl was attacked by another dog. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, I would definitely go there again

My boyfriend and I found a kitten today (on a Sunday, when vets are never open) and UrgentVet was able to help us get her checked out very quickly. Within a matter of hours we were able to get her an exam and a few tests so that we could comfortably take our new kitten home without worrying that she might be sick. Huge shout out to them for being so helpful on such a short notice! Definitely recommend

Staff and vetenarian extremely knowledgeable and very caring.

I would highly recommend Urgent Vet. They were very professional and compassionate during our visit, as we had t let our dog Maddie go home. The staff was hands down there for us through the whole process. I can not thank them enough for being there during this sad time of loss. Thank you to all the staff that helped us. You guys are awesome.
