This Vet is absolutely wonderful. They have been nothing but courteous and loving to both bunnies. I recommend them highly.

Really amazing stuff! I would recommend bringing your pets here anytime when needed! I was really worried about my ferret when he got extremely sick. To the point where I was in tears, luckily they helped eased me and made an appointment right away. The vets are super nice and helped me and my baby in my worst time!

They care about animals and show it through the way they help animals stay healthy. They're kind and courteous.

Highly recommend these folks. We had an emergency situation and they were able to find a way to see us without an appointment due to our circumstances. They were extremely professional, compassionate, had great customer service, and ultimately helped make a very difficult situation for our family more comforting.

Dr. Scott Medlin saved our bearded dragons life, went to a different exotic vet the day before and they there was nothing wrong with Stitches but I knew there was so I got a second opinion and so glad I did and came here. I just moved to the Fort Myers area and sooooo grateful to have found an exotics specialist just minutes from my house for my precious rat, Touille. ???? Dr. Medlin and his staff are nothing short of AMAZING!!! The front staff were all so friendly, cheerful and patient as they answered my many questions and catered to my crazy!!! ???? Taylor had great suggestions for environmental enrichment and providing the best nutrition for my little girl. Dr. Medlin performed a thorough exam and then discussed preventative care and answered more of my questions, never making me feel rushed. I now feel comfortable knowing Touille is receiving the best care possible at Medlin Exotic Animal Medical Services. ????

My hamster, named Waffle, has had this lump and I always worry about her because I couldn’t take her to a vet. No vets would take her where I live. So whenever we went to a vacation, I decided to search for vets because I know Fort Myers is a bigger city compare to mine. I called several vets to ask if they take hamsters and how much they charge for a check up. Medlin clinic is the most affordable one I could find. Other vets also recommended them. Since I’m just a teenager without a job, I decided to go here. I was thinking since they charge cheap for a check up, maybe the surgery will be cheaper compare to others. I wasn’t wrong. I spent $200 overall (medications, check up, they even cut my hamsters nails!!!, surgery, anesthesia, etc.) Other hamster owners spent around $300-$700 just to remove an abscess (which my hamster had). They also have great great staff. Everyone is so friendly, and they always, always answer whatever questions you have. Call them, they answer in a few seconds. I know they took very good care of my hamster since she had to stay overnight. They showed me how to give my hamster medications. I’m just in awe! This place is great. I actually live 3 hours away but I wouldn’t think twice driving that far if I have to bring my hamsters here again. Lastly, thank you, Dr. Arnett!! She is sooo nice

Everyone was so kind and informative. There was no waiting so that kept the stress minimal for my bunny. The cost was less than I expected and that was a great relief!

Such a kind and knowledgeable staff. I can not say enough good things about them. When the laws changed about owning tegus, Dr. Midland called FWC to see what permits were needed. That is way above and beyond what any vet I have ever had before do for me. Seriously, best vet ever

I give them a 5-star rating the staff is very knowledgeable and if something they're not sure of they make it a point to get back to you once they have the answers. I have five parrots and an overly protective parent. It is comforting to have a resource like Medlin.

Dr. Medlin is very compassionate. It was my first visit with a terminal pet. Dr. Medlin took time to explain my options. I'm very glad I was able to get his opinion. I feel he really cares about his patients.

I had to take my Leopard Gecko there. They were super nice and very informative. They handled my Gecko with care. They explained everything very well and showed me exactly when and how to administer his meds. They said they would call and check up on him in a week and if I had any questions to not hesitate to call. I would definitely recommend MEAMS.

Feeling very lucky that an exotic vet is available in Fort Myers. They have so far taken great care of my 2 ferrets, one who had her tooth extracted and a Deslorelin implant put in yesterday, and is recovering nicely. They do have covid restrictions, you must wait outside while they examine and treat your pets. Yes, it is stressful to wait outside, you want to be there with your babies, holding their little paws. However, these doctors do have families and children to protect, and I'm glad that they have found a way to be there for our babies, and theirs. They do keep you well informed of what is happening, in real time, and are very knowledgeable about ferrets and ferret care. My husband dropped our girl off yesterday for her tooth extraction, they called before they took her in, and called immediately after to let us know how it went, and it went well. Thank you, MEAMS!
