We have been getting a couple classes from instructor David. He’s been a great help and has changed our puppy in only a few classes. Now my mom want additional classes. He used to run around and not listen to anybody. Just two classes later we can leave him in the middle of the living room and tell him to stay and he won’t move until we call him.

If you're looking for a disappointing experience, then by all means, send your dog to "smart start puppies." I cannot say enough bad things about this business. Do not make the mistake of trusting your furry friend to these people. They clearly do not know what they're doing. Save yourself the heartache and find a better place for your pup. Trust me on this one.

Horrible company, would not recommend sending your dog there.

I just received my dog Blake back from Smart Start Puppies doggie boot camp and then came to leave a review because of how happy I was and noticed that there were a few newer reviews that I had not seen there previously. I took a closer look and noticed that they were all on the same day and minutes from each other, then I also noticed that they had been replied to and the replies mentioned FAKE in them. I gotta say, I just got Blake back and nothing that is mentioned in those 1 star reviews are correct. My trainer arrived with Blake and went over all instructions in a detailed manner, Blake was performing everything correctly and I personally am very happy that I went with Smart Start Puppies, thank you guys for giving me a well trained dog back!

This is the absolute worst company that you can hire. We acquired their services about two months ago and after the first initial evaluation for our dog, they never showed up again, however, they did charge the ENTIRE training amount since the beginning. They cancelled two appointments back to back, and didn’t show up for the third one; the trainer/owner didn’t even bother to call or send a text to explain why he hadn’t shown up the third time. After three days of calling to demand an explanation, they said that the owner/trainer’s cellphone had died, yes, this was their explanation! Of course, we immediately proceeded to cancel the service and request our money back (which they charge since the beginning, as I mentioned before), but up until today they haven’t given us our money back, even after several calls and follow ups with them, it’s been almost two months since then. Terrible, terrible company. Untrustworthy.

I did the training with Smart Start puppies and it’s been an amazing experience. If you follow their coaching and directions you would see the results. They helped me with the potty training and all the basic commands. The trainers Tony and David are excellent.

Sent my puppy for 2 week boot camp followed by 5 week in home training. When he came home he had kennel cough, basically told us to buy a training collar. (If I’d known that I wouldn’t have wasted the 2 grand for the camp ) lol Still is literally untrained. No matter how hard you stick with the commands taught to you by them and how much you’re on top of it. Nothing stuck with this guy. Waste of time and money for us.

To start off with I’d like to say thank you to Tony at smart start puppies and to his team of professionals! I took my Rottweiler to their 2 week camp and boy was the training effective. It took their coaching to really understand how to handle my dog but it definitely worked. Tony and his team made me realize that dogs need practice just as much as I did. When I sent Thor away they kept updates with me and it felt comfortable knowing that he was with his team of teachers. I think Smart Start Puppies training is the BEST you can find. My friend also had his dog with them and they too got the same result. Call this company if you’re looking for a great dog!

I took my Maggie Mae to Petland for doggie training. The trainer was very friendly and professional. I honestly wasn’t sure she was going to tell me more than I already new, but I walked out with some good training tools. I will be back for the next steps.
