They got us in on very short notice and were thorough and kind in treating our sick pup. Even though the diagnosis was a bit of guesswork because of her intermittent symptoms, they provided us with treatment options and our girl seems to be on the mend already!

Very nice ladies, they have been so sweet with my pup! We have enjoyed our visits there so far.

West Gate Veterinary Hospital has been our go to veterinarian for our personal pets (birds, cats and dogs) and all our wildlife from Big Bend Wildlife Sanctuary. We have worked with many veterinarians (Dr. Carter, Dr. Bragg, Dr. Barnes, Dr. Brooks and others) from West Gate Veterinary Hospital over the years and have always been treated with respect and compassion. Their staff have always been personable, courteous and kind and a joy to work with. Thank you for being honest and caring individuals who appreciate the love we have for our pets and other animals in our care. We appreciate what you do for all the animals and the compassion and kindness you show them.

I had a VERY IMPRESSIVE first visit with West Gate Vet Hospital! The receptionists were very professional and answered all my questions. The technicians and doctor alike treated my dog with love, care and understanding. She was not nervous and scared as usual when at the vet. They were very thorough and professional and made sure they took the time to explain everything to me. I will definitely be bringing my fur babies back!

We have been taking our new puppy to West Gate Vet now for a year. The Vets are very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

Short wait time upon arrival. Wonderful staff. Assistant and Veterinarian explained in detail any suggested labs, tests, and treatments along with upfront disclosure on their costs and benefits. I wouldn't choose another vet in town.

The staff have always gone beyond professionalism and are so loving and caring for my pups. They have shown the greatest empathy when the time to say goodbye had come and joy when my new loves come to visit. Dr. Carter has been a favorite Veterinarian for many years. I’m glad I was able to have him see my kitty on one of his post-retirement visits back to the office.

Always a great experience at West Gate Veterinary Clinic. They get you checked-in and in to see the Vet as close as possible to your appointment time, and their care and handling of your pet is always compassionate and reassuring; to both the animal and owner. They are not the closest Veterinary Clinic to our house, but we've found them to be the best, and exactly what we want for the health care of our four-legged wrecking crew.

I will NEVER use this vet! Refused to help an animal just passed the issue on as if to say, "don't care, let it die!" I have rescued animals for years and have never been treated so abysmally bad by any vet. I will take the current clowder of cats, pack of dogs and other animals to ANY other doctor... Do NOT take here as they could care less about any animal in need of medical attention! Go elsewhere where they care!

From calling to make an appointment all the way through checking out, everyone at West Gate Vet is patient, kind, professional, thorough...and patient—yes, I said it twice! The stress that I feel when I take my fur babies in (currently two GSD and an occasion rabbit) makes me a ridiculously nervous client. They are always genuinely caring and non-judgmental when I ask questions or express concerns. I usually arrive nervous but always leave happier. Always.

I have been taking my cats to West Gate Vet for over 10 years now. Me and my pets have always been treated with a great deal of respect. When I lost one of my kitties to an injury that just couldnt be taken care of with surgery, the Doctors and Staff were genuinely hurt as well, doing all they could for nearly two weeks to save my baby. The prices are fair, and worth it when taking care of your furbabies. I have been recommending WGV to people who even live in Dothan!

Today was our first time coming to West Gate Vet. We had an amazing experience! Dr. Barnes was very sweet and gentle with my babies. The vet tech was very nice and made sure I understood everything. Jinx and Autumn will definitely be coming back!

I don’t know.... no heart is all i can say right now. They somehow make you feel like a cash machine. No empathy, no solid advice or choices, no guidance.... just pay pay pay pay pay pay... “oh ya and btw; your pet won’t make it.” “Have a nice day and Thanks for coming in.” Like that ????????

Our dog was bit by another dog and was rushed into this clinic right as they opened, before the vet had even arrived. They were very attentive and helpful in getting our little guy taken care of. They were able to keep him all day, monitor him, as well as provide medicine to heal him over the next week at a very reasonable price. (Under 500$) Dr. Brook was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I truly don't think our dog would have survived if they hadn't rushed into action to fix and care for him. The vet even rushed in before her working hours to ensure he was cared for.

The entire staff is so awesome. They all work together and you know it's for the love of our fur babies. Thank you all so much. May God richly bless each one of you.

I Thought a lot before I decide to let my review here. First let speak about the good think about this place ! The Dr Lull is a nice vet , the staff is always smile and polite i though wow finally I found a good people to take care of my pets and I have 7 so dont get me wrong they are good people but when they give to you an appointment to be there with your baby and ur there early and get sitting for more than 30 min the app that u have for me I start to think if there really care cos this for me is calling lack of respect I was so frustrated thinking how can they schedule u and than say they was busy like I dont have busy life too, so leaving my review here I hope u guys don't do that again cos people get upset and somehow if they are there cos they count on you... guess I will keep looking for a vet to take care my babies cos they are one the most priority of my life and u don't let people sitting waiting we all have busy life so thank you.

Excellent service. Great professional staff. Takes great care of my best companions in life, both during and after their lives ended.

Dr Barney is great with my anxious dog! She was very slow and accepting of her tendency toward anxious aggression. The techs were all slow with my pup as well. Prices are average and mostly affordable.
