We had my Sister-in-law's Dog put down . Not a good time !

Strict about protocol, masking and doctor calls from inside to tell you about procedures. A little extreme, but we have been taking our cats there for more than 10 years and always had good attention, staff is nice and place is clean

Spoke to the Brenda at the Front Desk. She was rudest, unhelpful person I have ever dealt with at ANY animal hospital. She needs to be re-trained on how to speak to potential customers, especially when there are other customers near by.

I love everyone in this vet clinic, they are super nice to us and our fur babies, all six of them. my most favorite there is Miss Brenda.????❤️

We brought our new rescue here and they treated him/us like family. The veterinarian here is so smart as well, down the road we had an incident where a different emergency vet had given us poor advice, this office made time for our dog right away and cleared up the issue with the most practical and affordable treatment with the comfort of our pet being the main priority. Thank you so much for your excellent service!

Dr Tulcan is the best!!!! After she did the ultra sound and explained it to us in detail we need a copy of it.I beleave the disk is in the machine. If you could send it to me I would appreciate it..

I have been taking Winston to Sunnybrook since he was 8 weeks old, Brenda and the rest of the staff have always been awesome. Kristen that does grooming is wonderful with Winston too. A big thank you to everyone there.

Took my rescue dog there that had a broken tooth due to previous owner abuse. They wanted 600.00 to fix and the receptionist whispered the name of another vet to me and that vet did it for 50.00

They do things right. Took great care of my little Yorkie girl. Great follow-up. Recently relocated to the area, and this will be my go-to veterinarian.

I had an issue that required a fairly immediate response. They squeezed me into a very busy day and got us taken care of in a very friendly, professional way. I am very pleased with SAH.

The staff and doctors are friendly, really listen and provide professional, helpful feedback! My pups are treated with care!

Just a great place near home

Moved to Florida recently and saw the wonderful reviews of this animal hospital. Took one of my dogs in for a problem with her mouth and specifically told them to look at her teeth. The lady who took the notes when I called to schedule the appointment did not put down to look at her teeth. They wrote that she was licking herself. Then I called to schedule an appointment to get a teeth cleaning for her and they want me to schedule a consult with the dentist first before I schedule a cleaning. So basically I would be paying twice for what I asked for in the first place! Very greedy and unprofessional. Never had this problem with my Vet in CO. plus they keep calling her a him which is really annoying as they should have that in her file as well that she is a girl.

We have counted on Sunnybrook Veterinary care for our two cats when we are in Florida. They are simply the best. They provide professional, compassionate care and we rely on them to take care of our babies when we need them to. Thank you for all that you do!

The groomer is fabulous! We receive several compliments about our fur baby and we owe it all to Kristin! Thanks!

They are great with my pet

I can't belive this unprofessional conduct of that some the employees have. My wife took our band new beautiful puppy for his first visit and got the most rude and unprofessional service from the main doctor of the clinic. She basically came in the room and without any empty told my wife that our new baby is blind. Thus was not cool.

Our cat, Ana, is a “regular”. Since she absolutely will not allow us to trim her nails, she visits almost monthly. We hand her out the window of our car into the arms of her groomer and she’s in and out in just a few minutes. No fussing, hissing or fighting - she’s comfortable and we’ll taken care of.

We feel very confident in the staff here. Dr. Lavinia takes great care of our Java

Sunnybrook provides such terrific animal care! They exhibit exceptional empathy and professionalism to both their patients and pet parents. During covid, they adapted brilliantly and pressed on to take care of our beloved pets. A special thanks to Dr. Lavinia for diagnosing and treating Molly’s heart condition. I’m thankful for every additional day you’ve given us. Thank you also to Amber for your professionalism in helping me through one of the most difficult days of my life. Saying goodbye to Stormy after fifteen years was awful and you took charge. The whole staff here is wonderful!!

Groomer did a nail trim on our usually very nervous dog in record time with no issues! We will definitely be back!

Is the very unfriendly staff. Very overcpriced. No compassiant. I got my dog sheared there and when she came out she was half finished. I asked the groomer why and she said sh. e was done. I'm the find out she had nicked her eye and my dog became blind yeah it became blind. When I notified them they told me I was crazy and not to .come back. I recommend the animal clinic in Port Charlotte they really care and their definitely .lower pricing

Loving caring understanding of pets and persons long time pet feelings

Making appt was super easy. 1st appt was same day, due to a cancellation. My little yorkie had just been diagnosed with a severe shunt in another state. Instead of running up a huge bill, and still having questions, they immediately referred me elsewhere. Sending us to a place that has much more experience dealing with this. Went ahead and made appts for my other 2, healthy, furbabies for next week! Love them! Everyone was very loving to my girl. Happy with my decision to go there!

Employees are great with people and pets. More of a personal feel then other vets. I think I will make Sunnybrook Ellee's permanent veterinarian.

I love everything about Sunnybrook. Brenda, at the front desk is great. Always cheerful, knowledgeable , and helpful. I so appreciate the techs who are caring, compassionate, and gentle. Dr. Lavinia Tulcan always explains things thoroughly, willing to use both traditional and naturopathic/holistic treatments. Well versed in laser therapy and acupuncture. Her focus is always that of maintaining the health of our two, senior dogs. Certainly no easy fete!

The staff and Doctors at Sunnybrook are always friendly and helpful. They always have your fur-baby's best interests in their minds and hearts. We have several cats and two dogs who are customers. Their pricing is always reasonable. I would recommend anyone looking for a veterinarian office to give them a chance.

The staff was friendly and very caring, but they wouldn't scratch my belly. ????
