After an hour in a half wait at midnight I was told to go see my primary vet for my dog. What ridiculous service. I wouldn’t have been at the place if it wasn’t an emergency. No doctor or tech had the courtesy to come check him out before getting a phone a call pretty much telling me my dogs emergency wasn’t important. I can go see his vet in the morning. So much for caring about animals. And billing you thousands of dollars.

This practice is very reliable and have very nice people working there. The are kind and professional. I have taken my dog Lupe there a few times through the emergency and they have always immediately taken care of her. Monday I had to take her again for an emergency, they kept her 24 hrs and kept me in the loop on her condition and on her recovery. I have to give a big thanks to Emelyn who was so kind and sensitive to my anxiety about Lupe being sick. She sent me videos and pictures of Lupe as she ate and recovered. Ashley Lopez was the one that admitted Lupe late at night. She was also very patient with me and helped me through the process. The doctors that saw Lupe were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me the issue and the plan. Dr. Gutierrez spoke with me several times and did not rushed me. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and explained in detail the issue with Lupe and the plan to help her recover. I recommend Doral Centre.

Historia corta, conseguí un gato atropellado en la calle, lo llevé con la finalidad que salvarlo , lamentablemente estaba agonizando, la atención fue rápida y a pesar de no ser mi gato lo atendieron con la mejor disposición posible. …

My brother took his cat for potential blockage. They did not do appropriate treatment for said issues. We Have been trying to reach them multiple times calls and emails, and their medical director has yet to respond to medical questions regarding the case. We await the answers and are not going to let it go. Took over 7 days to get the actual records and the poor cat had to see another vet the following day. The pets name is Oat. You have the corresponding client info.

Took my dog over to this Hospital and ended up paying more than I would have liked, but the truth is that any kind of medicine is unpredictable. I had two receptionists makes me feel comfortable and understood through my first visit: Michelle and Natalie. When I went for my recheck, I was met with Michelle once again and it was as though I was meeting up with an old friend. This hospital has a wonderful reception staff, and the doctors and technicians staff are not any different. This clinic is amazing for dealing with the amount of emergencies they get. Im leaving this here to give them the credit they deserve!

Make sure that you’re certain if your dog needs surgery or not. They always try to go with the most expensive procedures first. 0 humanity. Yes, all vets are expensive, I know. But I’m never coming here again, other places have given me better options. And finally, I don’t know if they changed some of the staff, but when I went, most of them were horribly rude.

Took our greyhound for a thyroid test. He had a huge bruise on his neck after the test, and started coughing and throwing up a few hours after. Called the hospital and gave them a visit the next day. The hospital didn't take ANY responsibility, blamed a hypothetical ongoing issue for the coughing and throwing up, and asked us to pay to diagnose the "hypothetical ongoing issue". Our greyhound stopped coughing and throwing up as soon as the bruise started fading away. We'd never trust them again with our fur babies!

This place is a total RIPOFF. They dared to ask for a deposit of $850 before seeing what was wrong with my senior dog. They know people love their pets and would do ANYTHING for them. Doral Centre Animal Hospital would do ANYTHING to squeeze your wallet. Find another place. Don't waste your time and money. Very insensitive and uncompassionate place!!! I took my dog to another place. BIG DIFFERENCE!!!

If I could I would give this place 0 stars i would. Went in there for an emergency with our dog really sick. They kept pushing us back, made us wait 3 hours and kept bringing in other dogs. I kept calling and asking and they would just say they were busy and that we had to wait again and again. Total lack of empathy and care, terrible service, they do not care about the customers or the pets. Would never recommend this place. Called Banfield hospital and they took us right away. Do not waste your time or money in this place.

I left my dog at the clinic and the diagnosis was that he would die within 24 hours, but that I would have to pay for his hospital stay of 48 hours and a few hours after the hospital I asked to visit him, I wanted to say goodbye while he was conscious. but they didn't let me see it, they just sent me a picture. the next day I asked again to visit him while he was alive and again they didn't. soon after they called me saying that my dog had died. I couldn't say goodbye to my dog while he was alive, only after he was dead. I just wanted to say goodbye to him earlier and they took that right away from me.

Thank you so much to everyone who works here. My 16 year old cat Pelusa woke up feeling extremely sick. I knew most likely her time had come. When the vet confirmed, they were extremely nice and caring to the fact that my cats life was coming to an end. The vet was caring and let us be in the room for Pelusa’s final moments. Once again thank you

My dog deceased because of the unprofessionalism of these people, I have no words to describe how bad they are in every way, absolutely the worst of the worst, the only goog thing they are good at is giving BIG FAT BILLS to customers that are trying to save their pets lives...

Amazing doctors, staff, we took in our 3 month old kitty who was sick, they told us what she had, gave us the medication and how to give to the kitty, told us everything, payment plan if needed and gave us options of treatment before anything was done to the cat. Which I appreciate a lot, I wanna thank every staff member for the amazing care and love they gave for animals *Kitty wasn’t eating when we took her in (first pic) and the next day she was eating again, the second two pictures is the following 2-4 days

This place is more concerned about how much money they’re making then anything else or any place I’ve ever been in South Florida. For simple reasons that you take your dog to the vet they will give you estimates that are two and three times more than anywhere else because they want to do “extra” diagnostic tests and of course they will says it’s al needed but it’s not and I’ve been seen by other places for the similar reasons and the way they approach this in other places is to do what’s needed without doing tomando things extra to charge. I have even talk to other people that said the same exact thing and you can tell how they treat you when you question the bill and the estimate. They look at you like you’re miss treating your pet when they’re just trying to do as much as they can to charge as much as they can. Of course we want the best for our pets and we want to treat whatever is going on, but this is just exaggerated and it’s not just one time. I understand it’s a business and you have to make money but this is reaching. It’s a total money grab, and unfortunately many times this is the only place open so people have to go here but if you have a choice, to somewhere else.

Very slow. Won't let you inside. Everything is curb side since the beginning of 2020 and now late 2021. Go anywhere else if you can

I took my baby Susana, she had a swollen tongue and a swollen salivary glands. I rushed her to here where in 20 minutes they identified that she had sublingual mucocele which had to be operated. No blood work, no x-ray, it was instantaneously led to surgery. The estimate was $4k when the median price for the operation is half that here South Florida. I was pushed into such difficult decision to make, whether to put her down or take her somewhere else in the hopes of finding better prices. Technician Luis was more than humane in this situation when the doctors gave me zero to no other options of saving my baby. I decided to her back home and research other clinics and hospitals that could be accessible. Two days passed and the swelling disappeared from her neck and glands. She is back to running around and being mischievous as she normally is. The doctors here falsely diagnosed my dog to make a quick dollar, they prayed on the desperation and fear of me and my mom to make a profit. Thank god we didnt give up on her otherwise she would’ve been euthanized or had done a surgery that she didn’t need. Shout out to Luis the technician who actually cared for my dog, and showed some humanity, something that the doctors here lack tremendously when they prioritize profit over the life of a family member. Don't change Luis. Much love to you.

I was there with my old dog who was disoriented and limping and they kept me waiting for over two hours. I call them in between and they said that had a few walk in customers. But they took after that some people that came just after me. I was outside burning gas on my car it’s outrageous. When I went to another vet just to find out that my dog had an stroke. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

PRICE GOUGING AT DORAL CENTER ANIMAL HOSPITAL I am a long-time client of Doral Center Animal Hospital. My dog has been their patient since she was born, and she is now 12 years old. I used to visit them when they had an office on NW 41 street in Doral and have seen their practice grow from a quaint small two room clinic to a world-class 24-hour emergency hospital and boarding hotel. It’s been about six months since I last went to their clinic. Today I called to inquire about making an appointment for this evening and was beyond horrified to hear about their new business practice. The first issue is that I have to wait more than a week to get an appointment. If they are taking patients from other clinics that have shut down, they should be giving preference and priority to those who are current patients of their clinic. The second issue is that if I want to walk-in and wait, then I have to pay $74 instead of the standard $45 regular office visit rate (which was already expensive to begin with). And if that weren’t enough, any appointments (regular and walk-ins) that take place after 6pm are now considered emergencies and I have to pay $97! I did not even receive an email with this new change in policy. Had I known, I probably would have changed doctors but because my dog is sick, I don’t have time to do that and now have to bite the bullet both in terms of my wallet and my time. Do they realize that due to the pandemic, many people are unemployed or underemployed? For those who are lucky to have a job, do they realize that most people get off work at 6pm and that’s the only time they can make an appointment for their pet? I asked for Dr. Cabeza's email address, so I could communicate with her directly, but was denied the information. It’s like they don’t want to be bothered. Dr. Cabeza has totally forgotten her long-time patients, her humble beginnings, and has put making a profit above the health of pets. I sincerely hope that they reconsider their position because as an outside looking in, it would appear as though they are price gouging their clients during one of the worst health pandemics and economic crisis we’ve seen in a long time.

I don’t mind waiting half an hour every time i come to this place when i’m buying my cat’s special diet food, but making me wait over an hour for my cat’s vaccines when i had an appointment made weeks in advance when the polite thing to do was to offer to reschedule is just ridiculous and unprofessional. I told them when they had me waiting just half an hour that i could reschedule with no problems if they had too many people, but they insisted they were getting a room ready for my cat and I’d be called as soon as one was available. Fastforward 50 minutes later (120 minutes in total) and i still had not been seen for my appointment.

Best emergency ever !! My puppy broke his little leg I called 3 emergency rooms none were able to help him with the pain or take him in. Doral centre helped me in every way possible they were so kind and loving. I felt like my puppy was safe and in good hands and I truly love how they keep me updated and always answer me. It was honestly a very scary moment but they made me feel like it was gonna be okay. After I got my puppy everything was okay and he was ready to come home.
