I can not say enough good things about the staff and vet here. They care!! your babies are their babies. Their prices are more than fair and reasonable. We have used them now for about 3 years and will never go anywhere else.

I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Briar and I have always been treated with kindness and compassion and I wholeheartedly trust everyone at Walton County Animal Clinic. Genuinely a pleasure to work with and I always feel empowered and educated to make the best choice for Briar, and supported in her care.

This clinic have been outstanding in the diagnosis and treatment of my dogs lymphoma… Dr. B was instrumental in helping me get a diagnosis and explore options for chemo therapy and, when I decided on 2 places to do chemo treatment they couldn’t do in house, she helped tremendously in making sure information was shared. She has even been really responsive to my countless emails (keeping me confident in my decisions and letting me know her expert thoughts when I had my doubts)… and the office staff is super friendly and kind as we progressed with treatment… and also patient with me as I have experIenced the ups and downs of chemo with my pup (we have been going every 2 weeks for bloodwork the last 5 months and they haven’t wavered in their support). I can’t say enough good things about this place.

So grateful we have Dr. Blackwood and his caring staff close by.

Thank all of you for getting Ziggy in so quickly! We can ALWAYS count on the professionalism and genuine loving care our pets receive. Honestly we cannot think of anything the clinic employees or Doc could have done to make the experience any better. We are so appreciative of the care provided Ziggy. This office staff, techs and Vets dont come any better, we drive a hour oneway to use them they have been taking care of our Bailey for 7 years, would not use anyone else.

The staff are really great, they are friendly and courteous and the vets really do care about your animal. The lobby and exam rooms are very clean and there is no underlaying smell of wet dog. They will work with you on your bill to ensure your animal is taken care of as well!

I’m so pleased with my experience at this veterinary clinic. First, the front desk ladies are absolutely wonderful. I got my female dog spayed, she’s my first dog so I had a lot of questions. They answered all of my questions, and were so kind. They took the time to help me feel comfortable and at ease with the surgery I was unfamiliar with. Not only are their prices really good, but the quality is phenomenal. I had some anxiety taking my girl in surgery day, but everyone at the clinic was so happy, positive, nice, and smiley. They helped us feel at home right away. After surgery, they were very informative, and one of the sweet ladies even helped my dog into my car. After being home for a few hours, I noticed somethings I was unsure about so called the clinic to ask if things were normal. Usually the front desk will just try to answer your questions or give the phone to a nurse, but the actual doctor took the time to discuss my concerns with me. Today (day after surgery) early this morning they had already called to check on her! As a dog mama who views her dog as a child and not just an “animal” or “pet”, it was so refreshing taking her to a clinic where everyone cared and viewed her the same way I do. Thank you a million, we’ll be back!

Asked about low cost spay and the person flat out lied. There Are option, don't let them lie to you. All you had to say was we don't offer those services.

Had a wonderful first-time experience. All the bases were covered and there was no rush from the Dr. or staff to move to the next appointment. All my questions and concerns were answered. Very clean and professional with a decidedly "family" feel.

Dr. Blackwood and his staff are always happy and pleasant. This is a great vet, we have used him for 20 years.
