Walk away!! Go elsewhere. Do not question her on her treatment or your bill. Sandra refused to help my pet. I spent thousands of dollars with her.

I have several vets and Dr. L'Amie has taken the nest care of my pet. Even follows up with a call or ways to get in touch if not open.

I have always been confident in the care of my pets in their hands. Their prices are comparable if not lower then other places. During the pandemic I hear nightmare stories about people waiting outside for hours not here. I looked for a veterinarian closer to my home for convenience and with my experience that is will not cross my mind again.

Dr. L'Amie is a genius. I have been going to her for 20 years. Most knowledgeable veterinarian I've ever had the pleasure to learn from. She more about my dog than I did

I came to Oceans Edge for a second opinion after another vet was going to charge $$$$ for surgery after my dog hurt his knee. Sandy was so friendly and was able to help my dog without surgery. I love her holistic and real approach and am so grateful for the money that she saved me.

Dr L‘Amie and her friendly staff have taken care of our 4-legged family members since we moved to the region almost 10 years ago. My search to find a caring, knowledgeable veterinarian who uses natural remedies and energy testing, ended when I found dr L‘Amie. So happy I found Ocean‘s Edge Veterinary Clinic!!

We love this place! It's refreshing to find a Vet who thinks outside the box, works with nutrition and supplements before bombarding our beloved littles with medications.

My parents and I, have been bringing our fur babies to see Dr. L’Amie for over 20 years. She has been there to help us at a moments notice when the unexpected occurs. Dr. L’Amie is trained in offering the traditional styles of veterinary care and the holistic approaches as well. If you are new to the holistic side of things, that’s ok, as she will give you both sides of the spectrum and choices. It is a very good way of treating not just the symptoms, but of also working towards understanding and treating the causes, which often times traditional medicine overlooks or ignores. I tend to be on the fence sometimes about the entirety of the holistic approaches, however, there is no denying that Dr.L’Amie and her staff have a lot of knowledge, experience, and love for our animals. If you are a skeptic of holistic approaches that’s fine, but don’t let that dissuade your views as to how to use that extra knowledge towards what might be ailing your furry friend. Take it as another piece of knowledge and advice from people who have seen it all and have a larger understanding of how the foods and chemicals in our world affect our pets than anyone else I could ever think of. You will be able to leave your visit having just that much more insight and information, choosing how you wish to use that information is up to you. Her advice and diagnoses, from a medical standpoint, are spot on and I feel her treatment options take into consideration some things other vets sometimes do not, such as age of the animal, breed, sensitivities, vaccination history and the effects of, etc. I’ve always felt her experience and expertise in the veterinary world are abundantly apparent. I’ll admit sometimes all the information can be a bit overwhelming because it usually involves things we as humans don’t think much about, are ignorant of, or take for-granted. I can assure you though, having the extra information and choices are far superior to not. I often go home to research and read about some of the things she has spoken to us about for our dog, to find that much of the information is beneficial to us humans as well. We have made dietary changes, for example, that have benefited us greatly, both pet and owners. It helps us to feel like we are being more proactive in our pets health, and our own, as opposed to just being told here is a pill to give and then not thinking much further than that. She and her staff have helped us keep our dog happier and healthier than, in my opinion most, while also helping us to be more aware of the things in the foods and environment around not just our pets, but around us as well.

Wish I could give them 10 stars by far this is the BEST veterinarian. The staff is the most welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Being new to this town and finding a vet is hard to trust with our fur child. The universe works in all kinds of ways thanks for guiding us to them. I’m so pleased with visit, it has opened my eyes to want my baby needs. We couldn’t be happier knowing our dog is going to live a more comfortable lifestyle now.

Dr Sandy and her ENTIRE team are BEYOND AMAZING! it is hard to find any good professionals in any field but Dr Sandy and her team are the epitomy of what TRUE Pet Health Care is all about! Due to my own health issues, I had not been able to care for my pet baby as he was accustomed to and needed...so even with a VERY LIMITED BUDGET, Dr Sandy and her team gave my baby the BEST CARE and did everything they could while working within my budget .they did not overcharge unnecessarily..but got straight to the issues at hand. Dr Sandy was VERY informative, attentive, and GENUINE 100%...I LOVE THAT!! I have NOTHING but GREAT THINGS TO SAY... So if YOUR LOOKING FOR A GREAT DR AND TEAM, GREAT CARE, AND A GREAT EXPERIENCE...BRING YOUR PET BABIES here...truly GREAT PEOPLE AND PLACE! TinaM

Very very expensive. More than any vet in town......when my dog got his teeth cleaned for $989...they gave my dog some shots, left me in a room alone with my dog, he began to wimper and cry I picked him up and he urinated on me and then …

We live in Deland and drive by many other vets to go see Dr. L’Amie. She has been a great healer for our Furry Family Member, even when he was having trouble walking. Kim is also very caring and compassionate. Both traditional and non traditional medicine are practiced here with the utmost compassion. Ocean’s Edge Veterinary is worth the drive for us.
