We are established patients with 3 boxers there. I had a sick dog. They could not work him him to be seen and was told no vet would be in the next day either. She finally said I could pay $180 extra on top of normal charges and he could be seen. She suggested I schedule appointments out in the future. If I could see in the future to know my dog was going to be sick, I would gladly do that.

I got home from work one day and noticed my puppy wasn't feeling good. It was kind of late in the day but I decided to try to call a bunch of places to see if I could get lucky and take him asap. Literally every place I called gave me additude and told me to just take him to the ER clinic and did not offer any other days except Royal Oaks! Although they didn't have any open appointments for that day the receptionist was super nice and offered the soonest availabilities. The staff were super nice and vary knowledgeable. The doctor was great and vary thorough. I highly recommend this clinic and will be making this our new family vet clinic.

This veterinary hospital has earned a new loyal patient/customer. We showed up at their urgent care with our older vizsla who was in respiratory distress. They were quick to act, compassionate and caring. Personally, it was a horrible situation to be in but they did everything to be kind and helpful. The level of knowledge and care is top notch and their staff and veterinarians are wonderful. The tests were not cheap but I think they were fair. Sadly we had to let our girl cross the rainbow bridge and I'm still a wreck over it but it was the right thing to do. I need to call the clinic to ensure they are taking new clients because we want this office to be our new vet for our other two pups.

Everyone I interacted with was so incredibly kind. I would highly recommend them to anyone with an animal. Took care of my cat Chloe last minute and checked in next day to see how she was healing. Thank you guys.

They were very kind and compassionate. Although I feel they are VERY HIGH PRICED! I took my daughter's cat in for a check up after she had delivered kittens. $650 later they couldn't tell us anything. The cat had minor bleeding 2 weeks post delivery. They couldn't tell us why, they couldn't tell us if she had an infection. This is after X-rays and blood work. And my daughter still had to buy medication. (4) prescriptions for her to take just in case she had an infection. Which my daughter did buy. " Because She Didn't Know "

The wait is ridiculous. They told me be here by 2 to pick up my dog... it's now 5!!! It's obvious they're understaff and the fact they make you wait in your car is the worst!! If I could give 0 stars I would... please don't take your pet here. Very Unprofessional!

Just horrible. Take your animal and tell me you would take them again. That’s all I have to say.

The entire staff at Royal Oaks are tentative, professional, compassionate and incredible. I could not imagine more reliable doctors seeing and taking care of my fur babies. They’ve been like family to my animals for years, to the point that my dogs even get excited about going to the vet. If you’re looking for veterinary care where the staff and doctors take the time to get to know you and your animals, this is the place to go. And I highly recommend them to everyone!

The doctors and the rest of the staff here are the most caring humans I have ever met. They care for your pet just as much as you do. I've been taking my dog, Lexa, here for about a year now, and I have had nothing but amazing experiences. Lexa typically hates going to the vet, but she is always wagging her tail when she is on the way in those doors. My dog has been struggling with behavioral issues with men, so I took her in about two weeks ago to see if I could get any advice and get her some supplements to calm her down. Doctor Dwyer came out to give me advice on how to train her to be better around men. I really felt like she cared about Lexa and I because we spent about 20 minutes talking about what I needed to do and she answered any questions I had. I'm two weeks in to training/giving her supplement treats and her behavior has completely shifted! Dr. Dwyer is truly a life saver and I am forever grateful for her!

Royal Oaks came to the rescue when my pup was in pain and other vets in the area were booked 2-3 weeks out and kept insisting I needed to go to an emergency clinic. They were able to get me in the same day as a walk-in, with the understanding that he would be worked in around their appointments for the day. The only reason I took off one star was the estimated time was about 2 hours and it took almost 5 before I heard anything back. I'm thankful they were able to get him in at all and understand that things get hectic but I was worried about my baby all day! They quoted me for the exam and X-rays and asked for 75% payment before they would see him but I paid the full amount. They ended up not doing the X-rays because they thought his neck was just inflamed, but called with an updated estimate before doing any further treatment. The total came to over $800 but I was able to tell them I wanted to hold off on some of the services and there was no pressure. We ended up doing bloodwork, giving him a steroid injection, and pain meds. The total came to less than what I had originally been quoted and they were great about refunding the difference and even letting me change the card I paid with. Everyone I encountered was super friendly, Wendy, Trista, and Rachael, and Dr. G was super thorough in giving the rundown of what was going on with my pup. He's still on the mend but as long as everything else goes smoothly, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet -- again with the understanding that if you do the walk-in service, you might be waiting awhile, but I was able to go home and pick him up at the end of the day.

I have always tried to stay loyal to my dog Cooper's original vet. On two occasions my original vet from Clermont/Montverde could not see my dog during emergency situations and that is unforgiveable. Royal Oaks on both occasions stepped up to take care of our boy. In my book a low price takes a back seat to the care of family. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable every time. Royal Oaks is my number One vet. They have earned it.

Thank you to the staff for fitting me in last minute, and to the Doctor for his expertise and compassionate advice regarding my sweet dog. I felt very confident and grateful for him taking the time to discuss how to proceed.

I am so grateful that I found Dr. G and Dr. Dwyer when I relocated to Clermont. They have been so kind and compassionate with me and my dogs, and I've never once questioned their judgement on care. I firmly believe my senior dog enjoyed extra years due to the diligent care of the doctors and the genuine affection of all the staff. They never rushed her or were rough with her when she was scared. They allowed her to be a mama's girl and included me in her care routine as much as possible. When she passed, the doctors and the staff were incredibly patient and kind, allowing us all the time together that we needed. They cried with me and reaffirmed what I've always known: that she was special to them, not just a patient. My new puppy loses her mind every time we pull into the parking lot. She can't wait to see her friends! Even if the care team wasn't so awesome with me, her joyous reaction to them would be enough to convince me that they are the best for her. This practice might be a little more expensive than "budget" clinics, but I can't put a price on the health and care of my babies. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

I've had cats for almost 40 years, have lived all over the country and have never met more caring and competent vets than Dr Dwyer and Dr Giangreco. I've been taking my cats to Royal Oaks since I moved to Clermont over 10 years ago and wouldn't go anywhere else. They truly care about keeping my cats healthy with regular appointments and can always fit me in when one of my cats has something going on out of the ordinary. They listen, ask lots of questions and work to solve the issue all while treating my cats with the utmost respect. Before any work is performed, an itemized bill is presented and explained and must be signed by me. So, when it is time to pay the bill, I'm never surprised. My cats have lived long, healthy lives because of Royal Oaks Veterinary Hospital.

We brought in our newly adopted GSD/Belgian mix. Since he was abandon and found and taken to Polk County Animal Control, Tahoe is extremely underweight and had many issues. Not knowing a lot about him, the Dr. G and his staff were incredible and patient, getting every bit of information we knew and answered every question and concern. He was very thorough with explaining what concerns he had. Very happy with the service here. Thank you foe helping out baby boy Tahoe!
