Missed diagnosed my dog was in congested heart failure I have been going here for years and my whole family my dog almost died I’m a nurse my dog had the same complaint that day they did nothing and charge me for stuff that should have shown CHF after speak w doctor on phone to make them aware I didn’t even get apologize

This place in close to my house. I took my sick dog here. Was dismissed as nothing and gave me a medicine. My dog didn't get better so I took him to an emergency vet. He had a blockage and was hours away from death. Luckily, the emergency vet saved his life, and I had several more years with him before he passed. After this, I wound up knowing someone that worked here, and this person swore they were only giving 1/2 vaccine doses to save money and make profits. I would never taken an animal to the clinic, ever.

They are sooo kind and timely with my sweet boy! We are new the area and I am so happy with them!

It's a convenient location for me the Doctor Fixed my dog Gucci's broken leg, messed up toenails and had to amputate his tail to save his life From a cancer tumor so I will give them 100% thumbs up.

This is the best animal clinic. I have been bringing our pets here since the 1980s. Always straight with you and reasonable.

Only ever had great experiences at this clinic. The office staff are so sweet, and the vet himself is very attentive and happy to answer any questions. Only downside is due to covid, pet owners are no longer allowed inside the building but I understand this is common at many vet offices these days.

I had been taking my dog here for just over a year up until today. I had taken him into the office to be seen for an ongoing issue that they keep dismissing as “behavioral”. I told them several times that whatever is going on with him is not behavioral - I know my dog. I have never felt to dismissed. We are our pet’s voice. This veterinarian does not care and is so set in their ways they won’t listen to an owner’s concerns. Their prices are fair, the techs and receptionists are great, but the veterinarian just does not care about a pet’s wellbeing. I’ll gladly spend a little more to have my voice heard and for my dog to be cared for properly.

Mr and Mrs Doc are fantastic! Been using them since they opened years ago. They don't gouge you like most vets on pricing.

Best clinic around. For years I waited for someone who cares as much and has fair and reasonable prices. Super vet. Fast appointment, superior assistants, wonderful wonderful people and great discounts for seniors. Do not take your precious pets any place else.

Dr. Stenzel is always very thorough when examining my Jack Russell, even if I only had one concern. I've been a patron of Clearwater Animal Clinic for the past 30 years, and have had all my animals well cared for.

I’ve taken my animals here for the last 10 years and after my most recent visit we will not be back. My cat had her routine shots something she has had done many times there never was charged an examination fee until this last visit and a visit which I’m not even allowed in the building for and it lasted less than 10 minutes so not sure what exam was even done. When I called to ask why this is I got horrible customer service especially from Jessica she is unbelievably rude very disappointed and unhappy with the treatment from Clearwater animal clinic especially after being a client for so long it’s a shame how they choose to treat there clients. I do not recommend them to anyone keep your pets away from this place unless you want sketchy service and horrible customer service.

This vet's office is beyond phenomenal! They take super care of my cat and they whole staff is so kind and they ALL love animals!! Don't hesitate to take your beloved pet to them!

5 stars- full breakdown below for staff, professionalism/reliability and pricing. Been coming here for my own pets for 10 years, been coming here with my grandmother for her pets for much longer. I recently had to have bladder stone removal surgery for my furry one. They did an excellent job, stitching was very clean and my pet is now healthy and happy. It’s also worth noting that this was a time sensitive surgery and I called about 16 vets in Bay Area to see who could get my pet in the fastest and these guys really came through when even the emergency vets could not take in my pet sooner. They provided the earliest scheduled surgery and my pet is home and happy. Below is some things I like unrelated to just this one visit. Friendly staff: Only experienced one rude person ever since going here, I won’t mention her name because I don’t know if she is new or just misunderstood my situation, had a bad day etc. however that one bad phone conversation doesn’t take away from my overall 5 star review because the other staff were very accommodating as usual. Professional and reliable: When you speak with the doctor and staff and they do their follow up calls with you it is very apparent that they care. They are reliable and conduct handling of the pet well and always provide follow ups and courtesy calls to answer any questions and check up on your pet after surgeries, medications etc. Pricing: I do not go here because of their pricing but it is probably the most affordable vet I’ve ever been to. I have on occasion had to use other vets when Ive lived a little further away and the price are most OFTEN twice the price of this vet. This isn’t a big flashy office but that doesn’t take away from the quality care and this probably attributes to being able to offer more reasonable pricing. Overall: 5 stars for this office and team. Even when I’ve tried other vets that were closer to where I live at the time, I’ve ultimately always found myself just making the longer drive back to this vet for the overall experience, professionalism, quality care and the affordable pricing. I’d recommend this place to anyone although I was reluctant to post this for fear of helping them become “too busy” but even if my review helps contribute to that, they deserve it. Lastly in regards to some reviews I read, I had to come back and edit my own because I feel 1 star form anyone is unjustified: - if you felt pricing was unclear then it’s my opinion that you just didn’t ask. I always ask even when Its just routine exams. Out of principal I always ask for what’s going to be done, pricing and depending on serious issues like my dogs surgery what alternative options of any are and pros and cons. Additionally for financial constraints It is difficult when you can’t afford to get certain testing done and I sincerely feel for those individuals and their pets but it is not as simple as asking why they couldn’t help with a test you can’t afford because they will experience that daily and they would have a harder time maintaining profit if so many tests, exams and treatments were given for free. There are free and clinics programs for help. As for if a staff member did not handle communicating the situation in the best way, it happens but is not the norm. - if they are unable to give you a diagnoses until they conduct certain tests or they give you information you feel was already known you need to understand that they cannot just take your word for it or another vets word for it in every case because they are the ones liable for your pets livelihood. I’ve had times where I took my pet to ER and this vet did not require any duplicate tests to follow up and there have been other times I’ve paid for a second exam in a short period because they wanted to ensure I got an accurate assessment.

After everything my kind neighbors at Paradise Park did breaking into my home, abducting my dog, releasing my dog on 2 busy streets here in Largo, telling the animal control officier I beat my dog. I am afraid for my own safety and I will never leave my dog unattended again. Thank God they take care of my boy when I work at a very reasonable rate. I am so grateful to them. They r very kind to him as well and he is happy to be there too.
