See Spot Grooming and Daycare Bradenton, Florida

Really bad experience. I made my appointment online and they called me the same day a few hours before to cancel it. I understood the situation and kindly agreed to change my appointment for another day and with another person ,even though it was not the most convenient for me, but my dog ​​needed to go. I was 12 minutes late for my appointment and when I walked in, Shyane told me that I had missed it because of the delay. I apologized and explained that I had problems with my 3 month old baby who was there with me . And she just told me that that's how the rules were. I explained and asked her to please because it really cost me to get there and it was a few minutes and that wasn’t my original appointment but she didn’t care at all. They ask you to understand when they have to cancel at the last moment, but they cannot understand if you are a few minutes late. Very very inconsiderate, unpleasant, and unsympathetic attention!!!

It has taken me a while to post this. I was too angry. Haley at See Spot Grooming butchered my dogs tail. The first picture is how he came. The last two pictures were how he left. Very dissatisfied.

No wonder the place has a "Now Hiring" sign on their front door. I took my beautiful red golden retriever in to get groomed. Lauren the groomer came out and I explained he's a beach dog and loves the water and we don't love the wet hair. She suggested taking him down by half. I am not a groomer, so I figured OK you must know what you are doing. I brought him in with a fluffy tail about 4 inches of fluff. I am thinking half of 4 is 2 inches of fluff and that will be nice, and his body was a bit long so the fly aways will all be trimmed down. Lauren shaved his whole body using the same blade! Why on Earth would she do this? I was in utter shock and disbelief when I picked up my dog and told Lauren I had never seen him with hair this short. I took home my poor pup and came to realize his whiskers were cut, he had uneven trimming streaks on his legs and his tail looked like a rat tail. I called and spoke with two managers at LWR and they directed me to Amanda the regional manager. I sent Amanda a detailed email with photos and concerns and requested a refund. I was beside myself upset with what Lauren did to my dog. Amanda had the audacity to tell me they don't offer refunds, they will touch up the trim and (my favorite part) "As far as the whiskers are concerned, dogs do not need them like a cat and trimming them is subjective to an owners taste." A quick google search and a confirmed called to my vet states you should NEVER trim a dogs whiskers. What a traumatic and awful experience.

I have used See Spot Grooming for several years and they are AMAZING! They do a great job, very responsive and professional. I have a German Shepherd and English Springer and they dont get anxiety at See Spot like they used to get at other places. Before i came across See Spot i tried several others and NO ONE comes close. Highly recommend See Spot!! Your fur babies will too!!!

Staff was amazing and this was the best our puppy has ever looked after being groomed! They followed exactly what we asked for and he came home so beautiful and happy! Highly recommend!!

They didn't call me back

First time there and Tara was our groomer. She did an excellent job. Our Mia is a diabetic and her sight is poor, and Tara took the time to discuss my concerns. I felt very comfortable. Staff very friendly

They had to make 2 trips to the back and the cuts were terrible

I have had 2 of my pets groomed regularly at this facility since its opening. My dogs always seem happy when I pick them up and of course, they look terrific. Amanda is one of only a handful of groomers that actually does hand stripping. April 30 '20 Took dog in for hand stripping and he looked awful. Nails not clipped and face/ears not done. No style to grooming(he is Norfolk Terrier). Called and complained and Amanda said I could bring him back but she would clip ears/ not strip? Was he hand stripped or were clippers used? Pay more for hand stripping and he was at the groomers for hours. He will not be back.

The grooming itself is terrific. Wonderfully done at a fair price. They are fairly accurate on timing out the finish of their work.

Worst place for me and my puppy. My 4 month old Malchi came home with lice, puppy was so stress out, they didn’t use puppy’s personal shampoo (so he came with allergy), nobody offer me a bandana, when they have a sign saying are free, they did trimmed some nail but not all like is supposed. Super expensive. Long hours with your dogs (4 hrs) for nothing. After my appointment I received an email with questions about the service I received and i responde to them privately with all my complaints, after 1 month nobody answer to me yet, this why i went public with the review. If you care about your lovely pet, dont take it to a bunch of kid to be groomed just thinking about the money and not about the good care to be offer.

Did an awful job on my dog! He is 5 months old and has never been groomed before because I was afraid this would happen!!! They chopped his hair and to top it off I am pretty sure they gave him some kind of sedative!! He has been acting strange since I picked him up. Will never bring him here again!!

They did a fantastic job on my two dogs!! Both dogs were happy and their new fur cuts looked great!!! We will be coming back again in the future!!

Brought our rescue in, she was abused and is fearful of new things. The staff, Emily and Tasha helped her to feel comfortable and she was able to be groomed. They even towel dried her so they wouldn't scare her with the blow dryer. She turned out beautiful! They are great!

We first came to see Spot grooming back when one of my dogs are always extremely matted and they were able to shave him without any nicks or cuts and they did a beautiful job & I’ve been coming here ever since. Millie & Tasha, WOW they are amazing. My pups Polar & Kobi see them and they come out all smiles and looking amazing. So I will forever use these ladies for my babies! I am so grateful to them for always being super kind to my pups and being patient with them as they can be a pain. It is a professional atmosphere, the people that work there seem to always be happy and look forward to helping our pups look good! I appreciate you ladies! Thank you! :)

I've been taking my dog to See Spot for several years now. In fact, at one point I had two dogs. One was 18 years old and a sweetheart. See Spot is the only groomer I felt comfortable taking her to. Now we only have Lolli who loves going to see her friends at See Spot. They always do an excellent job with her. The owner is fantastic.

Great place for dog grooming! Especially if you have a dog that doesn’t like to get there nails cut, this is the only place I’ve found that can keep my puppy calm and properly cut her nails.

Very efficient, very quickly, my pup's nails were sharp and they grounded them down super short.
