My Pampered Pet Spa Bradenton, Florida

If you really want someone who truly cares about your fur babies, Mel Young and MY Pampered Pet Spa is the ONLY choice. She is kind, gentle and takes time to be sure that your pups feel safe and comfortable. My girls absolutely love her.

Gave us an appointment at 1pm and was told that we should pick up our dog at 6pm, Arrived at 5:45 and was told he would not be done until 8pm. No courtesy call or explanation. Our dog was caged for approximately 5 hours with only receiving a bath, no drying or combing. We took our dog back extremely unsatisfied and he seemed like he was released from prison as he could not wait to leave. Will never use there service again as they seem to over book and mistreat their furry clients.

This is a very nice, cute, grooming salon. Sally did a fantastic job brushing out my Cavapoo after I’d been told by my former groomer, every time, that she needed to be shaved. Sally seems very knowledgeable, and she took her time, not rushing and my dog has never looked better. Plus, my dog seemed very comfortable with her and happy to be there. I highly recommend My Pet Spa, and especially Sally for your pet grooming needs. *** Sally is no longer at Pampered Pet Salon. You can find her at Lakewood Ranch Pet Grooming. I’d follow her anywhere!

They do a great job

First bath spa for my Puppy Border Collie. Was so attentive and noticed a sore my Puppy had. Can’t ask for a better Groomer. Wouldn’t go anywhere else . My border collie looked Beautiful, festive scarf and all ????

We needed to get our 3 cocker spaniels groomed during the pandemic. We were referred to MPPS. Sally was so great with our dogs. We don’t have kids so they are our equivalent. They had some matts because it had been 5-6 weeks since they were groomed. No complaints from Sally. She was phenomenal. Our dogs looked great and they were very happy. Sally even took them for a walk. We were very impressed and the location is so convenient they won our business. Thank you for being open and of service!!!

The owner of My Pampered Pet Spa, Mel, went above and beyond for my Siberian Husky, Kailo!!! My pup was over due for a grooming, he had SO much fur needing to be brushed out, and she kindly didn’t hesitate to help out and make him more comfortable!! She was polite, helpful, and caring!! I wish I had a photo of before and after because he came out with a gorgeous, clean, and smooth coat- all of the dense hair build up was removed and the best part is he came back to me happy... and with a yellow tie!! : haha! he didn’t seem over worked or stressed from the experience and yet his coat was done perfectly, and he’s a lot to handle!!! She is genuine and a hard worker, and I can tell she took very good care of my boy. We will 100% be back and I highly recommend Mel or her team at My Pampered Pet Spa for a reliable, safe, happy, and clean pup experience :)!!!

Mel and her staff do such a great job on dog grooming. Our dog Abby loves loves them and always comes back quite beautiful. They treat each dog with loving care.

The ABSOLUTE Best person you will ever meet to groom and care for your animals the way you care about them is Mel Young, the owner of MY Pampered Pet Spa. I found Mel about 4 years ago from a chance meeting and she came highly recommended by a neighbor. When I took my dogs to her salon for the first time, I immediately knew I was with the right person and in the right place. Mel is simply amazing. She connects with each animal and has a patience, skill and a kindness that she brings with her to her grooming table that makes her simply wonderful at what she does. I am so excited that she's opened her new spa location on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch but to be honest, I would follow her ANYWHERE!!! Mel makes my animals feel comfortable but she also takes the time and goes the extra step to make me feel comfortable too. She is simply the best person to trust with your fur kids. So, if you need a groomer in the area, I highly recommend you contact Mel or get on her wait list. You will not meet a more caring and kind person to introduce your animals to. I am grateful that I finally found Mel to add to my Florida go-to list. Online reviews mean a lot to me when I am trying to find a service, store or even product to try, so I take these words and my recommendation to heart. Mel is one of the kindest and nicest people I have met here in Lakewood Ranch. If you don't have a dog or a cat to take to her pet spa...well, after you meet her you will wish you did!
