We have used Dog Stars twice for boarding and our fur babies are well and happy there. The staff is attentive and caring!

We have 3 standard poodles. Their usual groomer retired after many years. We took all 3 to Andrea for grooming, and what a great experience. Andrea did such a great job, and they all look like movie stars. Thank You, were so glad we found you.

I hated having to kennel my dog but had not choice. That being said brad. Dog stars is were I'd go again if I had to. Friendly,caring staff. Dog stars trains performing dogs and there specialty is teaching dogs to jump off a platform into a pool. Very cool. ????

Dogstars is a wonderful small almost summer camp like setting for dogs. The people who run it are wonderful and kind. This is much more than a commercial dog and cat boarding kennel. Most of the people are into agility, obedience, dock diving and truly love all dogs and cats, great and small.

Absolutely amazing. Julie has been so helpful in making sure my pup is well taken care of. I can't say enough about this place and how obvious it is that they love animals.

never again in a million years my dog had part of its ear missing and bleeding when it returned from dog stars they refuse to admit any responsibility. My wife wrote them a letter and followedup with a phone call was told Manager or Owner would call her and never heard a word. Think they just wanted us to go away.

This is the only dog resort I bring my 2 dogs to owners are friendly knowledge able and fair priced I will actually be calling to drop my dogs off tomorrow for 7 days and I have the comfort of knowing they're In great hands

Dog and cat boarding, doggie day care, grooming, obedience and agility classes, competition level dock diving pool and classes According to Bradenton lore, the kennel called DogStars has been in existence for about 65 years. It is even mentioned in John McDonald’s famous Travis McGee series. It started with a house in what was, then, the ‘country.’ That house is now home to their catterie and a new house was built on the property sometime in the 1990s. Then came the main kennel with 30+ air-conditioned indoor/outdoor kennel runs. Next came a separate air-conditioned building just for little dogs. Then came agility fields, a covered pavilion, and a competition-level dock-diving pool. It still has that old Florida look and charm. My dogs have come home every time looking beautiful. The staff are serious dog people. You've got to love them!

I feel so lucky to have found this place! We left our beloved 17 year old Maine Coon with Dog Stars four times this summer while I traveled with my wife on work trips. Rob and the entire staff at Dog Stars set her up with the perfect kitty condo! She had a window which she loved, and quickly acclimated to her new 'home away from home'. I know it's called Dog Stars, but it comes highly recommended from this cat lover.

We absolutely love Anna and Dogstars. We leave our 2 dogs with her several times a month due to our work travels. Our dogs absolutely adore her and it's such a wonderful feeling to know they are so wonderfully taken care of while we are gone. She knows their personalities, loves in them and they absolutely love going to stay with her. We can NEVER say enough of how wonderful Anna has been to our babies and our hearts. Beyond highly recommend!

We LOVE it here...more important....my 3 dogs are groomed with love, talent, and Anna is VERY professional. I've been bringing my boys here for the past 2 years and ANNA is the BEST groomer I've found within the past 4 years.......excellent! If you're looking for TOP quality-here's the place!!!

I've no idea whether or not the person who had a horrible experience with this groomer is telling the truth or what sort of problem might have existed. Frankly, I'd take it with a grain of salt. Who knows if this really happened or, if it did happen, whether or not the dog already had ear infections before the grooming? Providing the whole story and providing complete communication equals credibility. Anna and Dog Stars has helped to create one of the best experiences in the 4 yrs living here in Sarasota and in my 20+ years having both cats and dogs and bringing them to groomers. Anna does an amazing job. My poodle comes home looking tip-top and feeling happy. The same can be said for my friend who has been bringing her small dog to Anna, The third appointment will be in another week as will my friend and her dog.

Simply amazing. My dog never looked better, his grooming is impeccable, plus he enjoys going to Bradenton so much. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service to anyone. If you're looking for a versatile talented groomer, this is the place to go!
