So happy I found Julie! She was so careful with my mini dachshund and gave her the best haircut, we will definitely be back!

When I came to this grooming place, I explained very clearly that I like the style my dog has at the moment and I just wanted an inch taken off overall. I showed two pictures from last two groomings. When I picked up my pup, I couldn’t believe how hideous he looked. Julie literally cut the hair off his head almost to the scalp. The hair on his body overall was very uneven- chest and paws hair were longer than his neck and the rest of his body. There were long pieces sticking out through out and I had to clean him up myself. But there’s nothing I could do about his head. It’s going to take months for hair to grow out. I must admit it was a sloppy not neat job overall. I had a cute teddy bear looking 8 months old puppy. Now he looks like a mature not so cute dog. Also, she claimed she couldn’t file his nails cause he wouldn’t let her (other groomers have never had that issue) and now every time he sits on my lap or tries to get up attention and scratches my legs, I scream from pain- they feel like rusty nails. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, Julie said “that’s just how I groom, honey” Umm, I wish she told me that she grooms the dogs the way she wants it and not the way customer wants it. I don’t know what prompted her to think to cut off hair on the head so short is an aesthetically pleasing look. Very disappointed.

Julie has groomed Teddy for more than 10 years. When he was a puppy we tried all sorts of different groomers. Either his cut was poor or he came home terrified and wouldn't go back into that salon. Once we found Julie, we have been with her ever since. She's the best, Teddy always looks spectacular and you can tell Teddy loves her as he runs to her when we arrive. We have follwed her where ever she moved. So glad she now has her own place and we wish her all the best.

So very pleased with Julie’s Groom Room. I have a 20 month old male Biewer Yorkie .We have been to every groomer in town. Some are great with him but don’t clip his nails because he doesn’t like it. Others do a great job grooming but he shakes for the rest of the day , because he hates being there. We tried the groomer at our Vet’s but they did not do a good job. Today we tried Julie. Hoorah! She is kind, and fun and very good at her job. He has never looked so good! He smells good too! I also for the first time felt like “we counted “. I really think Julie has it all and that wonderful intangible quality of caring! We have found our new home! I highly recommend Julie’s Groom Room!

Julie is a professional in every way. She makes me feel like my dog is her favorite and always does a great job with a nice smooth cut. My dog is short haired and always leaves with a shiny coat and I can tell she had fun at the salon. Other groomers I’ve used have left uneven lines in my dogs fur but Julie really takes her time and makes it perfect!
