I don’t like making public review posts, but am making an exception for VEG. I’m in Miami visiting a friend and last night her dog and my bdf (best dog friend) got sick. While she was tending to him, I was Googling. VEG was the most highly rated ER vet within a 20 min drive, so that was my first call. I waited about 10 min on hold to speak with the doctor who agreed what was happening was serious enough to warrant a visit. As my friend drove, I got them checked in through the clinic’s online system and we went straight into the open treatment room upon arrival. Everyone was so nice, friendly and calming. They are very transparent and take time to explain things thoroughly. We felt very comfortable asking question…each of which was answered with patience and care. We loved that the only time we couldn’t be by his side was when he went into the X-ray room — when we refused stools so we could sit on the floor with him, they didn’t blink…instead they offered us blankets and a mat so that we wouldn’t be too uncomfortable. Also, both the time and $ spent there were about half of what we’d braced ourselves for. Grateful for every single staff member who helped us, as well as all the people who the posted positive reviews that led us to VEG.

Absolutely amazing, kind and friendly staff! Definitely recommend! They kept us updated on the progress, made us feel like they cared for our pet as much as we do. They made us feel comfortable as we spent the entire night there waiting on our dog's evaluation. The kindness, care and attention they gave us made all the difference. Amazing team! Thank you!!

We were so grateful for Mango's care here! We had an emergency and they immediately took great care of us. Nick, Raquel, Dr. Garcia, and all of the staff were incredibly warm, gracious, and helpful. They took the time to answer all of our questions and make us feel comfortable. I wish they could be our regular vet! Thank you!

VEG is awesome from the receptionist to the tech Lenora and Dr Rodgers the compassion and professionalism was exceptional. I called first and drove from another facility in Doral and it was well worth the trip. Thanks to VEG Charlie is resting and we will be following up with a vet tomorrow.

From check in, to check out I was extremely pleased with everyone at this facility. It is extremely noticeable how much they cared for my puppy. I felt so welcomed, and confident that they were doing their best to make sure my puppy felt better. What I enjoyed the most was seeing the teamwork of this facility. Definitely recommend!

This review is LONG overdue. I had an unfortunate emergency with my Boston Terrier back in April 2021 and after visiting her vet, needed to rush her to the Emergency Group as recommended. The team was incredible. Dr. Sanmarti was in touch with my vet and patient with my questions. Michael, Meredith, Natalia and Angelica were all very helpful as well and kept me updated throughout my dogs stay. I don't wish to rush my animal back to a hospital ever again - but I am happy with the service provided here when I needed it.

Amazing team!!! So caring and prompt. I took my dog there in the middle of the night for an allergic reaction and they were so tentative and genuinely caring. From the vet doctors to the technicians. And the prices are even cheaper than my regular vet clinic!!! Highly recommend this 24 hour emergency. If you live anywhere around North Miami don’t go anywhere else for emergency pet needs.

Wow. I absolutely love this group. My dog early Christmas morning began choking and it was one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been in. I called and immediately got an answer and the doctor stayed on the phone with me the entire ride over. The entire staff were extremely friendly and professional and they took great care of my dog and even myself! These vets truly care about animals and their families. I completely trust these vets and felt so seen and cared for. I’ve been to other hospitals and I’ve never had the kind of attention and care and empathy that these doctors showed. Thank you for using your holiday to save lives!

Dr.Garcia and his staff are top notch. Treated my dog on back to back Sundays for the same issue. Not only did they do a great job, but were very professional and reasonable with billing. I am so glad to have found a place to go on a Sunday that I can trust. Thanks ????

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. Way over priced expect to pay over 1000 for anything. My bill was 1100 because my dog was throwing up, and the guy next to me bill was 3500 because his dog ate 10 rasins.

My poor baby was very sick so we decided to take her to this VEG to get her checked up. The staff on shift went above and beyond to care for our baby!! They had amazing attitudes and were very knowledgeable on what was going on with my dog. Dr Kumar was absolutely wonderful along with Dr Gill who was on duty assisting. The vet techs were fabulous! The techs on duty were Lorena, Kelsey, Christian, and Cat T. Lorena was the one who mostly helped us! Lorena is a kind and professional vet tech who made sure to exceed all expectations. The front desk was Erika who calmed me down and helped me apply for the credit card they work with. Everyone there tonight was really great. Going to the vet is never a great thing, especially given the circumstances of our visit tonight. However, they made the overall experience of my visit wonderful. It was a little pricy but what do you expect when you go to the emergency vet in the middle of the night? They did help us out with our overall bill by giving us discounts and coupons for the medication prescribed. They all deserve over 5 stars in my opinion. I 100% recommend this location!

I bought my bestfriend here after realizing she stopped eating and drinking, and started putting more energy into breathing. Initially we took her to VCA Hollywood where we weren’t satisfied with the care. They rushed to put her on medications/fluids without fully assessing what the issue was at hand. They also asked us to allow her to stay over night for care and stated that she may not make it through the night. I followed my intuition and asked to have my cat back and I would take her home, they stated she could possibly pass on the way home. Still I followed my gut and bought my baby back home that night, when they gave her back to us she had fluids coming from her eyes and nose which let me know her body was rejecting it. I slept with my baby all night and the following morning I woke up to her still here, still breathing. So I decided to bring her here to see if my baby still had a chance. Upon arrival we were instantly greeted with genuine feelings of concern, care and urgency towards my cat’s condition. The doctors immediately became hands on and proactive with assessing her condition. I trusted that they actually cared, I felt that they actually cared and you don’t get the luxury of that in most medical facilities. After coming to the conclusion that my 12 year old baby was dying due to her main organs failing we decided to put her to sleep and no longer further her suffering. I couldn’t have chose a better environment to make such a life changing transformation, my cat has literally grown up with me from me being a 12 year old little girl to a 25 year old woman. My baby was handled with lots of love, care, and concern up until her last breath from me and my mom as her owners and Veterinary Emergency Group Aventura staff members especially Dr. Kumar. Dr. Kumar, thank you so much for the heart that you walk this earth with and your loving personality. It was well needed, and truly appreciated. Thank you to all the other staff members from the bottom of my heart.

Everyone was so kind and professional. I brought my cat in and they saw her right away and a team of nurses took great care of her immediately. Doctor Pierce was also very professional and explained everything they did.

If I could give more stars I would! Totally recommend! Went to another Emergency vet and couldn’t be seen for 4-8 hours because they were backed up. Was referred from a friend out of state and glad I made the right choice! Called up to let them know I was coming in and immediately sent me an online check in sheet. Upon arrival, was seen immediately by Bianca who was the Nurse assisting Dr. Bartolie. Bianca received the initial diagnostics and immediately started treating my pet with tender loving care. The night shift staff was extremely nice and helpful. Definitely seemed like they all had a genuine passion for what they do! My visit started the night rush for them but for every dog that came in, the staff was ready and on hand to assist everyone immediately. One of the guys was even getting ready to take a small break and stopped what he was doing to assist all incoming guests. Every time there was an update, we were immediately updated with next course of actions and how to go about the current results. They were all amazingly helpful !

This was my first time ever visiting an emergency vet. It's a terrifying experience, but VEG have an incredible team of loving and caring people. Erika at the front desk was incredibly sweet, Jessica was a very professional yet kind tech and Dr. Garcia is a wonderful vet. He took the time to make sure my baby didn't have any fractures or infections, and eased my concerns. They make sure you are okay with the price before they start treatment, which I find very honest. They do not try to rush you out, they take their time and put your pets heaIth before anything else. Thank you all for making a stressful day a little more bearable. Hopefully I don't have to come back, but if I ever have another emergency, I will always go to VEG.
