Petco Apopka, Florida

I went to the store to purchase a large bag of science diet dog food. I saw 2 displays with different prices for the same science diet food. I mentioned to the manager Andrew that the food was advertised under a different price than what rang up. He told me the price is what is on the register and said do you want it or not because I'm not reducing the price. I felt he was very rude and lacked customer service skills. I only picked up my dogs free treats and 2 cans of science diet. I will be looking for either a new pet store or new petco location that places value on its customers.

Lovely, friendly environment, Large selection of items from Training and foods, toys and comforts Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

My usual spot for my pet's needs. General pricings of products are fair. Good variety of items for my cats. Other little animals for purchase. Regular Doggie clinics and grooming. Helpful staff. A pleasure to visit.

Purchased fish from the Apopka location and added to my tank that was set up for 5 months and had no fish losses. With in a week of of the fish died and in the next few days after 4 of the fish I had in the tank died. A few days after some of the new fish were showing white spots (ick). I now have to treat the tank and absorb the cost of the other fish loses. When I contacted the store the General Manager let me know they only guarantee the fish purchased from them and made no offer or discount on future purchases since it is obvious the ick came from them.

Don’t ever take your furry babies anywhere near Petco grooming. Paid $76 for him to have the shedding control shampoo treatment, after they continuously recommended it, few days after the treatment and my dog was covered in rashes. Vomiting for 3 days straight, losing hair in clumps, constantly itching and suffering from the reaction to this point. Took him to the animal hospital and he had a severe skin infection that could’ve killed him. They said Petco and all those places like petsmart use harsh chemicals that aren’t good for animals and rather harm them and that most likely he got the infection from whatever they used + being around products that were used on other dogs that weren’t properly disinfected either. We called them about the whole situation and they didn’t care about any of it, said it was our fault, and wouldn’t cover the vet bill nor give a refund for the service that could’ve killed my baby. Don’t put your trust in these horrible people they just want your money and don’t care about the safety of your babies nor do they have a clue on what they are even doing with them.

Good variety for the dogs

Always go out of there way to make sure my puppy food is always available for us ❤️????

Great store with many choices

Decided to get my service dogs nails done and they were amazing, very caring and understanding.

Made this for a friend of mine his dog got hit by a car and can't walk on her back legs made it out of lawnmower parts. We went to Petco for a harness to hold her up they were very helpful. We are hoping she gets better. Thank you Petco. Want everyone to know she is walking on her own it's a miracle.update the dog is walking again.

I went in to buy my granddaughter a hamster thank you Alex for getting everything to the truck for me and thank you to the young lady who helped me purchase everything her Name Escapes Me but know that I'm very thankful for all of their help

Staff is always friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Especially this latest trip to the store. Can't remember the cashier name,but he definitely provided EXCELLENT customer service skills.

This place has so many options for pets and great sales.

If you guys don’t groom black peoples dog just say that my chihuahua is pure bred all shots and papers and this place makes an excuse not to groom him every time they try to ignore you until you leave then when you won’t just go away they create an appointment only rule when there are no signs or display that says appointment only the groomers are so condescending and pretentious it’s ridiculous just keep it real you don’t like black people or their dogs

While I was there buying dog food I dropped the bag and some of the food spilled out on the floor. Not only did Derek come help clean it up, he also gave me a discount since it broke. Then Gian took it out to my car for me to make sure it didn't break again. They were so helpful and friendly the entire time, I couldn't believe it. Such great service!

Shopping carts r horrible! Tire treads off!! Front wheels didn't turn!! Hurt my back trying to drag cart with a 44# bag of dog food!! It was like pushing a sled!!

Items purchased were VERY overpriced. A litter pan for $11?! I found the exact same pan at WalMart later for $3.50.

Not a lot of variety. Specialty foods are limited especially for dogs had to order or wait till the shipment came in otherwise store is like any other Petco manager is very nice!

Petco stocks the items we need and they are close to home. We shop several other stores in the plaza.

I’ve been taking my 5 year old pit bull Ava here for a couple of years now and she loves Sam from grooming and vice versa. Sam goes above and beyond every visit whether it be for a nail trim or full bath, she is the best! Thank you for taking care of Ava like one of your own Sam!

This was a online order for store pickup. Easy breezy. I found what I wanted placed the order and pickup the order on my way home from the doctors office.

I love petco groomers. I travel with my dog and is them all over the country. This is the first time I've been disappointed. Drove 70 miles out of my way for the appt. Paid $30 extra for furminator treatment. Paid extra for nail buffing and teeth. Vacuumed my truck out while she was being groomed. Got her back still shedding everywhere with bug bites on her belly. Nails barely cut not buffed and still too long. I understand why they have so many available appointments. Wasn't driving another 140 miles Round-trip. Paid the bill and $20 tip without ever seeing her. She is an inside dog groomed monthly and well behaved. I will get her redone at a different petco. Won't ever go back to the Apopka FL groomer.
