After transferring here several months ago we were so disappointed with the inattentive staff, over priced vet services and poor communication that we tried out another highly rated vet close by and had a drastically better experience. I would not recommend Pet Paradise for vet services.

I recently moved to the area and am looking for our home vet. I have a very dramatic puppy, and I brought him in today for vaccines and a nail trim. He causes a scene during both and the vet techs and vet herself were so patient and kind with him. The office and rooms were clean and cute and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were happy with our visit and will definitely be using Pet Paradise Animal Hospital and Resort as our home vet.

Dr. Ortiz is knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The tech, Shelby is very kind and my dog loved her. I lost trust in vets before due to my previous experience, but Dr. Ortiz and Shelby was nothing but wonderful. I definitely recommend this vet to others.

Everyone is very nice, professional, knowledgeable, helping, the ladies at the front desk, Brittany and Kayla have always been very nice, empathizing, understanding, helpful, Melissa is very very nice, treats my dog as hers and doctor Ortiz is excellent, caring and very professional, thank you very much

Was given misinformation about boarding and vaccines they are necessary. Brittany was telling me that my dogs need a influenza vaccine to get boarded. She told me the price for each dog is $38 and vaccine can be given at the day of drop off. She did not tell me another vaccine has to be given three weeks later and on top i have to pay $57 fee from the doctor. Luckely, I called back because I did have another question or I would end up the day of boarding g with a high bill or couldn’t board my dogs. The excuse from the office manager that Brittany is new and does not know all the office procedure. Why are people answering the phone when they don’t have a clue what they are doing

Their customer service is excellent. Their treat with my Buddy is loving. They really care. The price is high but you get what you pay for.

My dogs are really comfortable with the staff. I love the way they are kind and friendly.... best experience at a vet to date!

Brought son's black lab in full check up. They were very thural. Facility is clean and organized. Everyone was pleasant and caring.

This is the best place to take your babies! The The Veterinarians and staff is so comforting and the facility is welcoming despite Covid. The service you get is AWESOME!!! The response time is speedy! The care they give your pets is as if they are family and known them forever. The follow-up calls in regards to after care to check on your babies is so heartwarming and how they make sure you are aware of issues by emailing articles to help keep you updated and in the loop of what is going on! I have been coming to Pets Paradise over 20 years. I have shared with Dr. Ortiz many joyful moments with my puppies and some difficult times when those puppies were too old and ready to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Each time I felt the loving, caring, kind and compassionate doctor that makes her unique. I will recommend her a million times and will continue to see her with my grand puppies! :)

We have a very sick cat (kidney failure) and had to send her across the Rainbow Bridge. We spend a very emotional weekend and called on Monday for an appointment. We were allowed to be with her during her final breathes. The doctor and all those on staff were very sympathetic and comforting. I never expected anything after our visit. A few days later we received a sweet card signed by all the team from Pet Paradise. We will recommend Pet Paradise!

Took my Puppy in for grooming and they had a new groomer, she gave her a full groom, when they gave my puppy back to me instead of being happy to come home she was shaking and hyper as if she was trying to get away from danger. When I finally got settle at home I started looking at the job the groomer did and saw that she was cut in several places, 3 times on the outside of the right ear and two times on the left ear, the groomer had used some sort of tool to cut the hair inside my dogs ears and the tool literally shaved the skin off the inside of her ears. The groomer used a shaver to cut the hair off the inside of my doggies neck and took the top layer of skin off with it. During the grooming my pet must of be squirming and straining to escape the brutality of the groomer resulting in a dime size hernia to happen. When I saw this I was wondering what other damage did the do, I began checking my dog very closely and found that they cut her on the stomach in 6 other places, on her back 3 places, on her butt 3 places. The worst and I mean the very worst thing the could possibly done is they changed the personality on my dog, she is afraid of my touch, though I have never hit her, she is afraid to even be around me and my wife, she is even afraid to walk around the house. I once had a loving female toy Maltese, then she was brutally abused at Pet Paradise in Apopka during her grooming, now my little precious Doggie will never be the same again. I have been going to Dr.Ortiz sisnce Roscoe was a puppy..Best Vet ever..kind and very knowledgeable...If you want the best care for your pet ,this is the place..

We recently moved to the area from PA. We are so happy with our choice of Vet and boarding. All of our dogs have stayed here and were treated great. They were all seen by the Vet and were given detailed info on each. I came in today with Winnie and she was greeted by name by all the Vet techs. We are so happy with our choice of Vets!

Receptionists were accommodating and welcoming. The lobby was clean, nicely decorated, and does have a resort feeling. Doctor and assistant were super sweet and informative. Definitely a great first impression.

Love this place! GiGi loves it here. She can always tell when we are near and gets excited. She has been coming here since she was a few weeks old and is just as happy each time as she was the first time. The doctor and staff always welcome her and are super informative. I would recommend this place over any other!!!
