Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. All our questions were answered. Didn't feel rushed. Our puppy had surgery and was kept overnight. They did a great job. And when we called for an update at 3am did not feel like we were being intrusive.

Every single phone call consisted NOT of how my pet was doing but how much money I planned on spending, whilst making sure to offer to put my under 5yr pet to sleep if I couldn’t afford to pay ????

trying to make an appointment for my dog that's laying here looking like he's about to die and the rude lady who answered the phone told me to go somewhere else because they only look at ear infections what type of emergency veterinarian clinic is this???

They’ll be hearing from BBB. Code of ethics/CVMA is definitely an area of concern and will be spotlighted. I felt very taken advantage of because they were my only option for our pet. I’ve had my dogs leg amputated for $1000 at a reputable animal hospital and this facility wants $3500 for a catheter, antibiotics & observing overnight. Sunday night, after 4pm…they are demanding payment and despite me asking for time to figure things out because it’s SUNDAY…no banks are open…they didn’t care..and when I did make the payment, they called me 45min later asking if I’m paying so they could start treatment. ???? My pet was in pain while the facility took my money? Incredible. Charge as you will, but don’t take advantage or make owners feel cornered whilst no care is given to the pet.

I’ve never felt so cornered in my life when I found myself using this center for an emergency. Not once did I feel comfortable with the staff.

Yesterday I called up New England vet center after being told I needed to put my dog down. A super traumatic experience to be going through. The woman on the other end of the line told me they were going to cut my dog's head off! Who tells someone who is about to put down their pet that? Absolutely insane. I tossed and turned all night long last night with the image of my dog's head on some slab. How dare you people.

Was there a few days ago to have a cat put down. He was very old and had some kind of cat dementia. Any how the people there were very kind and professional. It was the first time I used their services so this was my first impression.

This is the only vet in the area who would take my dog in an emergency. They took her right in, were very thorough and friendly and saved my pups life. I would highly recommend this veterinary center to anyone and everyone.

The doctors are awesome the receptionist on the other hand was by far very unprofessional and rude to the point I’m no longer bringing my dog to this location.

I started bringing my cat Cutie I'm here immediately after I had to put his brother down. They are professional here and they listen to me when I tell them what's going on with my cat. Cutie really likes his Doctor Dr Chameroy. She's a first because he doesn't trust too many people. The quality of care is what's important to me and not the rush of getting your pet in to be seen and you're out in 5-10 minutes. I like it here and I like his doctor.

I called this vet center because my cat had been hit by a car and I needed her seen ASAP. They told me to come right in! Upon arriving, I was IMMEDIATELY DETERRED and told to go somewhere else. It seemed to be a burden that I had my severely injured animal with me. I was then separated from my family and had to put my dying animal back in the car and head to another hospital where my cat was immediately taken in for triage no questions asked. I understand that this facility may be at “maximum capacity” but why tell me to come right in and waste my time going there in the first place. If you have an EMERGENCY do not chose this facility. I called to make a complaint with a supervisor and the receptionist who answered was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful she continued to tell me multiple times they would NEVER turn an animal away that has an injury like that when this IN FACT was a true story. How rude and completely unprofessional. I knew my cat had severe injuries. I knew that she was going to need surgery no matter what. They explained they could triage her but it would be hours before they could see her and if she needed back surgery they couldn’t do it there (which is what they said it sounded like, considering my cat was paralyzed from the waist down). I told her if that were the case she needs to be put down tonight, I didn’t want to leave that hospital with my dying cat. They turned away a suffering animal without batting an eyelash. Disgusting. I brought a stray cat in that was limping and recently gave birth and her litter died. They told me nothing was wrong with her. And sent me back home. I brought her to another vet and her leg was broken

My significant other and I had made a visit to this vet for our beloved dog. We made the decision that it was best for our baby boy to go to doggy heaven so he would no longer suffer. From the time we arrived until the time we departed, the staff was AMAZING! They made the worse of our situation feel at ease a bit. They were so sympathetic and understanding to our feelings and wishes and took care of our baby boy at the last moments of his life. We truly appreciate them so much and if we ever need to go to the vets again we will be visiting them again . Thank you guys so much

I tried calling at one point when my dog was vomiting for days to be seen for emergency care. That was not considered an emergency. She had ultrasound at our regular vets office and the results showed large lymph nodes and high possibility of lymphoma. Second ultrasound was worse. So now she is on steroids and she is 10. We are keeping her as comfortable as possible with extra love. My point is New England Vet should have taken her in ASAP for Holly’s symptoms. They did not. I know vets are busy as ever these days but when you advertise as emergency services, we as pet owners know when our pets are very ill and in need of emergency care. This is unacceptable and a better system on their end needs to be in place. It is so frustrating when you call and get nowhere while watching your dog suffer. I do not recommend New England Vet as an emergency service per my experience.

Just drove 40 miles to this center for emergency care for our dog, only to be turned away saying they were not accepting patients. Had called before leaving home and the receptionist was very helpful. Provided directions and what to expect when we arrived. Needless to say we were upset to find that our dog was not able to receive care when we got there. Were told that the receptionist and the clinic area don't always communicate. So beware before making the trip.

I had a very pleasant experience with NEVC after my dog punctured her chest on a stick while on vacation. The staff was very professional and caring, the vet was informative about the procedures completed and the nurse made sure to answer any questions and review the medication instructions. Thank you for making a stressful time much less stressful.

I have fostered over 85dogs in my life, so, I have been to a LOT of veterinarians. Never have I had a more horrible experience than this laughable place. Oh, they are great at taking advantage of the person who is in tears over their cat. Great skills there. But, they made me sit in my car for 6 hours while they did bloodwork and x-rays. They told me "I had a very sick kitty" who needed a transfusion. But, they didn't have the transfusion. Isn't that kinda your job? It took 6 hours to tell me? If I wanted to torture my cat through more bloodwork and x-rays, I wouldn't have succumbed to their non capacity. I just don't even believe that they are veterinarians. This place is an embarrassment to the profession

08/08/21 UPDATED: IT WAS PNEUMONIA. You need a different person to handle intakes the snotty little misinformed person who is handling sick clients is unprofessional, nasty and has NO compassion. The lady at the window was very nice, the lady greeting at the door and bringing people in, needsxa different occupation. Went there thinking my 5 month old pup had a serious case of kennel cough, this lady told me kennel cough is not serious, I said unless it's turned to pneumonia. We were told we'd have to wait in the parking lot for 6 - 8 hrs. I asked if we could go home and come back I have a sick puppy in the car. NOPE wait in parking. When I agreed to do so she started rattling off prices for the visit, the meds and she didn't know if the Dr. - she didn't know - if he'd want to do some test. She doesnt know so why even bring it up??? Let the Dr inform clients instead of some one who DOES NOT KNOW. The Dr may be wonderful but after the treatment of a client in such a fashion I would not want her anywhere near my dog. (And another client with the same issue ran over to me and said don't listen to her she doesn't kniwcwhat she's talking about) Lucky in this area we have other choices and chances for a more compassionate greeting.
