I have been a client of Dawn's since 2004. The vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with my dog. After a session with Dawn, I asked the vet to x-ray in a specific spot, and that's where they found the cancer. Dawn has been helping me be a better friend to my pets ever since. You have to understand the process and be patient with your animals - after all, they don’t speak English - and Dawn can help you do that. Be open to the process and you will learn what your animal(s) are thinking and feeling. Dawn has an uncanny ability to communicate with my pets and has helped me with behavioral, social, and sometimes medical issues with my pets. I never would have known about one of my cats’ breathing issues, or her ear infection, had she not “told” Dawn. The vet confirmed what she was “saying” and got her the treatment she needed. When my dog fell ill with diabetes, she helped me help my dog settle into his “new normal,” and this gave me tremendous comfort in his final months and weeks. I truly believe I have a deeper connection with my all pets since I have been consulting with Dawn. Outstanding! I hope she never retires!

What can you say about someone who has an invaluable talent to help you communicate with your beloved companions??! I have been using Dawn's services for about 20 years - I attended one of her lectures at one of the first "Natural Health Expo"'s in 2000, 2001, and was struck immediately by her kind, calm, loving and sincere demeanor. At the time, I had 3 large breed dogs and a small cat. Dawn has relayed to me many valuable insights over the years from my pets, their feelings, needs, and some health issues - she has helped us BOTH (mostly me, lol) to understand what is needed. Her messages and insights have very much contributed to the well being of my babies and absolutely solved some conflicts. Communication truly is everything, with any species, and Dawn is the bridge. If we just take the time to see everyone's point of view, harmony will absolutely ensue. Dawn's insights have helped deepen the bonds, understand behaviors, solve problems, and move through training challenges. She even helped me locate my lost cat. Each time she communicates with one of my animals, I learn something about them, and often something about myself. I am so grateful Dawn makes her gift available at such reasonable rates. A friend referred me in the early 2000s when I was struggling to retrain a resource guarding foster dog. Since then, Dawn has communicated with the 4 cats and 3 dogs who have shared my life. I have been using Dawn's Animal Connection for over 8 years, and recommended her to 5 other people who all agree- she is absolutely amazing. The first call I had with Dawn, it was my first experience with an animal communicator and I wasn't quite sure going into it. As soon as she started sharing what my horse of 15 years told her, I broke down in tears and cried for much of the remainder of the session, because I knew- she was talking to my horse. I was finally talking to my horse, my best friend since childhood. Since then, Dawn has spoken to my horse on at least an annual basis, my dogs, my geckos, and even my fish. My family has used Dawn's services for years, for both of our dogs. Our first dog was always dumping out her water bowl which drove me crazy! Dawn found out why she was doing it. I changed the way I set out the water bowl, as per the dog's wishes, and voila! no more dumped water bowl. My friends who have cats have also been helped by her. One friend who rescued a feral cat was so devastated when she "ran away". Dawn helped her to to understand that Daisy didn't "run away" she just wanted to live outside and she would come and visit, which she did. Dawn was one of the first animal communicator I ever used. I went in as a sceptic and came out a believer. What really convinced me is that she knew my Golden had arthritis in her feet and ankles, which is not a common place for arthritis. Definitely recommend!

Dawn has been a huge help to us with our cat. On our first call with her years ago, we needed to know if the neighborhood cat wanted to move with us out of state. She helped us know that he already considered us his family! Since then Dawn has helped us talk with him several times, most recently she helped us understand why he wasn’t eating much, which helped us in our conversations with the vet. This helped the vet diagnosis him better and get a better treatment in place. One of my favorite moments with Dawn was the very first thing she asked as soon as we answered the phone was, “Do you let your cat outside? He’s telling me he really wants to go outside but you won’t let him.” Literally moments before, our cat had been at the back door asking to go out (which we usually do), but we weren’t letting him out this time because of our call with Dawn! Haha! Dawn is amazingly compassionate for both our cat and us. We refer her to people all the time who often say, “That’s real? I’ve never heard of a pet communicator before!” Yes, she’s real and yes, she’s really good at it! I highly recommend her services!

Milo first met Dawn when she was less than a year old, A stray youngster that I rescued off a parking lot, who was having trouble adjusting with my older cat, and doing a lot of marking with her Pee in inappropriate places. It turned out Milo was marking what she called the center of the house, because she wanted to make sure that everybody understood that she belonged here and was not to be sent away . She was afraid, because she wasn’t getting along with my other cat, that I was going to send her away. . Dawn reassured her, & I reassured her, that she was always always going to have a home with me. And I never ever ever had another problem with her peeing outside of the litter box ever again. Dawn has a real gift. She is kind, insightful, clear, compassionate. She has helped me with new pets settling in, with beloved pets in their final days, has helped me solve problems and shift behaviors and gain understanding. Dawn Allen has been helping us navigate behavioral and medical issues with our cats for many years. She has become an indispensable part of our lives and has steered us through any number of crises with cats past and present. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I first met Dawn many years ago (20???) at an event at Blue Riders Stables. I was skeptical - expected my dogs to be focused on her but their attention was all over the place. I discovered when I got home that night, however, that they had been paying attention. Dawn has known all of my dogs from the time they were 8 weeks old - sometimes younger. Most of them have always had something to say, sometimes, however, I had a dog who did not like her in their heads. Just a few examples: 1. Dawn knew my Doris from the time she was 8 weeks old until she died at age 15. Doris LOVED her talks with Dawn and always had something to say. She was a guiding eyes for the blind puppy and when when she was in training in the kennel I used to touch base with her. One time she told Dawn that she and her roomie had upset stomachs. A couple of days later we were notified that there was a giardia outbreak in the kennel - hence the upset stomachs. 2. Icarus did not like Dawn in his head. When she asked him a question he would run around leaving a trail of pee and stop when she got out of his head. She was able to get answers from him usually. In the meantime Doris would be in the background begging to have her say. 3. Several months after Oneida turned 14 she was off. Dawn said she had some internal issues so I made a vet appt. She had a massive abdominal tumor that was not treatable. After several months of palliative care it became clear that it was time for her to leave. Dawn's conversation with Oneida helped me make that difficult decision. 4. For many years I was a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes. The hardest part was when the puppy had to leave to follow his career path. Once I started having my pups communicate with Dawn the letting go was so much easier. I knew that they knew that I was not abandoning them, that this was their path in life and that if it was too difficult they could come home. I could give dozens of more examples. Bottom line - Dawn is the real thing. If you are having relationship issues with your animal, if your animal is just not right, if you just want to know what's going on in their heads - make an appointment with Dawn. You won't be sorry you did.
