I got a phone call from this place, a lady claims that I had a bill. Upon confirming, she was a bit pushy, asked some questions. I told her I am a bit concerned because of holidays and scam nowadays then she said well "your bill will be sent to the collection, good luck!" And hung up on me. I checked the number to confirm it's the place, for my own safety. I was flabbergasted how unprofessional she was towards me despite my concerns with scam during holidays, I thought she would be understanding and I told her I would call her back after I check the info and she told me it's going to the collection and good luck then hung up on me.

This place is a joke. I went for a simple nail trim. I’m an understanding guy. But for 2 cars that arrived after are all set that’s a red flag. It takes 2 and a half hours to get an update that “we just trimmed her nails, she’ll be right out.” An hour and a half later they’re informing they cleaned her ears and are sending me home with a medication, and a $300 bill. With over $200 of it being for the ear cleaning I never requested. I will pay anything for my animal, if it is necessary, explained, and consented to prior!

My cat of 2 years old suddenly had trouble walking so I rushed him to the Er. He was examined less then 10 mins and I was told he had straddle thrombus and needed to be euthanized. I asked if there were other options and was first told I could take my cat home and they would give him pain meds to make him comfortable and I could take him to a cardiologist in the morning. I couldn’t go to the cardiologist until wed (I went in on a sat morning) they then said they could hold him for the 4 days but it would be around $1000. The dr comes back with an estimate and it’s near $5000! Not only that no blood test or X-rays were done to determine if my cat really had straddle thrombus. I was only given the real option to euthanize. I was so distraught I agreed to it. Now I’m wondering if my cat was killed for no reason. It could have been an injury or something else. The dr was cold and callus. He didn’t care about my grief of my cat. I felt like he wanted us out of there ASAP!! If I find out my cat was euthanized without proper treatment first there will be hell to pay!!!

We've been using this vet for many years now, and they've helped with 4 pets over this period. There have been a few unpleasant experiences that could have probably gone smoother, but overall I can recommend them. The things I do like: They are mostly professional and I can't say I've ever had a doctor being insensitive to a situation. The owner (at least from around 2018) was a real gentleman and oozed confidence and a love of animals I have barely seen anywhere else. The place is near the main highway and has ample parking. We're good friends with one of the assistants who also helps us out with pet sitting once in a while - our dogs just love her. The things I don't like: There have been occasions where setting appointments have resulted in dates too far into the future. (Mainly in 2020/2021 due to COVID impact on businesses.) There have been occasions where the suggested treatments/ course of action are just too costly (when you're in an emotional state it's hard to think objectively) - in a few of these cases I had to challenge/ ask the doctor if we can go about treatment a bit differently after understanding risk and cost involved. There were a handful of times where assistants were kind of abrupt, and not as cordial as one would expect - maybe a rough day at the office - I just had to stick to it to get the service I wanted.

We called ahead to say we had an emergency with our dog who was having labored breathing and shaking they told us to come down , when we got there and called again the woman on the phone was incredibly rude and said they couldn’t treat the dog , then the manager said we could , this was a priority 1 emergency and we were given no sympathy and no service, going to this place cost us critical life saving time in an emergency , we ended up being so frustrated we went somewhere else , the people at this business should be ashamed of themselves, they don’t deserve to stay in business

After texting dr kubis a video of my boy unsure whether to take him to emergency she immediately responded urging me to go. Josh greeted us and took my dog immediately. They handled my dog who can be aggressive amazingly and performed diagnostics under sedation which is what i wanted because he can be so difficult i didn't imagine he’d cooperate for xrays. Dr cox put me at ease with the way my boy was handled and is always honest and straightforward where to go next with treatments, etc. we were seen quickly. Prices are reasonable and expected for being 24/7 but obviously money means nothing to make sure my pets are good. I used to work here and highly recommend dr cox, dr kubis and dr. Compton. Thank you for always being there for us and our pets????

We've been going for 3 years, and have always had great experiences and we love our Vet Holly for yearly appointments. For emerency visits we have had great service too. They started curb service during Covid where they come outside to greet you. It all been very convenient. Groomers were also good

last night my elderly rat was on death’s doorsteps. he was so sick and there was absolutely no way he would have recovered, but he kept holding on and his suffering was clearly immense. in desperation i called all over the area asking anybody, “please, can you put my rat to sleep?” everywhere answered me with a cold “no, we don’t take rats”. when i called here, they almost answered no again— but when i explained the situation they asked around and made something worked out. despite how busy they seemed that night, in less than an hour we were able to say our goodbyes and get him out of his misery. the staff were extremely accommodating and gentle. i have never seen a veterinarian or vet tech handle my animal as gently as they did. we were given a complimentary paw print box, his body intact, and everything was worked out in the least stressful way possible. the price was more than reasonable as well. i can tell that this place is full of people that genuinely care about animals and the people that own them. i can’t thank them enough for what they did for us tonight, what literally everyone else refused to do. i feel so much better knowing he’s not in pain anymore. these people are really compassionate.

This has been my dogs primary vet center for over 2 or 3 years now. I bring him in as little as possible. His primary dr and her assistant are amazing. Dr. Mcgraff has listen to every concern and contacts me right away and checks up on him when needed. She’s awesome. But that’s as great ad it gets. Nobody ever knows how much to charge or tries to charge twice when a deposit was given. They can never find any notes on my pets profile so no one ever knows what’s going on. Between staff there is absolutely no communication. Today I had a late shift personnel reprimand me like a child because as she claims I wasn’t supposed to leave after dropping off my pet. I tried to explain to her that it was a prior arrangement that was made with the doctor that I could leave them early and pick up when I got off work due to me working at the local hospital and not having time during the day to leave them. She cut me off multiple times and seem extremely upset that she couldn’t charge me for that appointment due to,again, nothing in the chart. Staff needs to communicate better on what is going on between shift change so this rudeness stops. There’s no need to take it out on the patients owner for your own lack of communication. Would definitely be looking for another place if the doctor wasn’t so great solely on the incompetence of staff.

Came in on Sunday with a sick young cat - waited for hours, got my cat back with a suspicion of kidney stones and bunch of prescriptions. Paid around $500. Today is Wednesday, my cat is dead and my heart is broken.

Emergency situation and they seemed uncaring. Then sent us to a closed vet hospital in Springfield as a solution since they were "busy".... would not recommend for emergency or non emergency situations.

This “emergency vet” was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The front desk staff not only was exceptionally unprofessional but they were insensitive, cold and even combative which was super surprising. You would assume that the front desk staff would be trained on how to talk with pet owners who are under stress, however I guess that is to high of a standard for this clinics staff. The main thing they cared about was informing us that these services weren’t free (which we knew). I’ve never been surrounded by such emotionless “caring pet people” in my life! Do not go here!

The only reason they are receiving 4 stars from me is because SHARON is the nicest woman I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. Aside from making my cats nails bleed on a trim appointment, over billing me, having a collection agency come after me, and having some of the most rude staff I’ve ever encountered. Sharon has been the most helpful and understanding person there. She saved me many times from having an awful experience with other employees. She deserves a better job.

I can't recommend this place enough. They listened to what I told them, didn't miss any detail, and acted quickly as you would expect at an emergency center. The mixed reviews are understandable. Not everyone is going to leave this place as lucky as we did. Emotions will play a huge role while both interacting with the staff, and when writing a review. Thank you guys so much. If he wasn't able to puke that MASSIVE piece of cloth up then we would have had to go for an endoscopic procedure for probably $5k. You guys filled him up with perfect slimey canned food, and he was able to push it out. Thank you for just doing it and not telling us that he needed to go for Endo. We knew he could do it if he was prepped right. He's a strong pup. Also thank you for the proactive medicine to protect his stomach from the hydrogen peroxide that we tried unsuccessfully before calling. He woke up this morning feeling better than us (late night). No offense, but we hope to never see you again :)

These people took advantage of a desperate man looking for emergency services for his puppy. They gave him an ultimatum of either paying $5000 on the spot or giving up ownership before they would assist. They are disgusting. They only care for money and not animals well being.

I went in to this emergency vet as my cat was sick. The Dr. was nice and professional but the rest of the staff was not. After paying 850$ they not only did not give me enough medicine for my cat but it took me 4 phone calls to get them to call in the rest of the medicine for me. In the meantime, the phone calls I did make to them went on deaf ears and I ended up speaking to two different managers who could not recall who was on the shift before. The staff was rude! One of the girls who answered the phone hung up on me and one of the managers told me it was my fault I brought my cat to Connecticut when I lived in Massachusetts in which I had no choice because all of the Massachusetts emergency vets were full. Trust me I will never go back here again! I would NOT recommend this vet to anyone!

Years ago I came and here and wasn’t happy but I gave them another shot. Other than having to wait a while they did a great job. A little bit more money than I was expecting but not horrible. Dr were very good and called with updates they seem thorough.

This is a split review. I will say the caliber of the emergency care delivered this weekend was top notch, and brought us to a thoughtful, but critical diagnosis for our family pet. That is where the quality of ANYTHING at this facility ends. After the weekend diagnosis, and a scrip to try and help while we explore next steps in treating a newly diagnosed Lymphoma, our dog was having problems/pain pooping. Our primary vet recommended calling CVC as they treated/diagnosed him. I called the standard line, and could not have been treated worse if I had called the cable company or an airline. The complete lack of compassion, empathy or even interest was so obvious. The simple request to speak with a vet was met with "The emergency vet you saw isn't back again until Saturday. I will give the file to another vet and see IF they can call you back". "Anything else, you have to bring him back in for a visit" I told (yes yelled) that they weren't hearing me, that this dog gets traumatized by going to the vet, could I simply talk with someone, with some compassion, and LMK what we could do to allow him more comfort? Ultimately I was hung up on. On a positive note, I did get back in touch with our primary vet, explained what "service" was delivered at CVC, and received OTC guidance that made an immediate difference. I called CVC back and asked for someone who could hear my experience. Mike Costello, Administrative Manager, called back. It was here that I realized the customer service issue at CVS is not unique to this one unqualified, incompetent person who answered the phones, but it is cultural and perhaps trained. His responses were so generic, unaccountable, and frustrating. I understand they probably hear from people who's pets are dying every day, but this is our first experience with this, not to mention what our family pet is feeling. If you want decent emergency care, when your normal vet is not available, they did well there. For anything else, routine or otherwise, I wouldn't bring my pet rock to CVC. And I welcome any response.

We called to register our dogs as new patients and was told to bring our pup who needs to be seen ASAP as an emergency appointment. We drove from MA yesterday and was turned away due to them not having an available emergency vet. We called today again there is no emergency vet available due to them having a medical emergency themselves. Yet there was no one to replace them to see the animals. How is this an emergency veterinary clinic if there isn’t anyone to see emergency patients. Highly dissatisfied and I don’t believe I’ll be following through with the regular vet checks here due to the unreliability of this business as well as unprofessionalism the individuals who I spoke to on the phone both times were extremely rude.

The worst staff I have ever had to deal in my life I am done taking my dogs to this place. Don’t take your animals to this place if they treat you bad I can’t imagine how bad the treat your baby’s. I don’t want to know. Please go other places not to this one. Not worth …

Brought my golden in for an review on a possible ACL tear. waited 3 hours for them to just tell me it was confirmed. Was told i have to come back for a surgery consult when she was already seen and then told i was going to be charged another $155 already after she was already seen from them for $250. I asked for a quote or range for the surgery and they refused to and told me i have to bring her back in and get charged along with dragging my dog back there after she was already seen and evaluated. This makes zero sense. Providing he options and information at the same visit would make much more sense needless to say not having to drag my injured pet back over and over and get charged for something that was already done the first time. very disappointed and would not recommend referral for this place.

In the past this place has been great but now I’m second guessing anything they’ve done for our dogs. Our beagle mix has a very large lump in his jowls. We were about to leave for a two week vacation and wanted it looked at before we left. They did a biopsy that cost over $600.00. Steep. But, anything for our four legged children right? They said they’d call me in a few days. We left for our vacation and our dog stayed with his pet-sitter. A few days went by and we received a call from the vet. They said “it’s not cancerous but it needs to come out. It’s just going to keep growing. It’s more serious than we thought.” I scheduled the surgery for when we got home and the lady said it will cost about $2,000. Well, we got home and the lump is GONE! Totally gone. Our pet-sitter (who used to be a vet tech) said she massaged it. It felt like a blocked salivary duct. And it’s gone. I feel like this place was totally attempting to rip us off! Telling us it was going to continue growing. I called to cancel the appointment. The receptionist said “well it says here in the notes that this needs to come out.” I told her it disappeared and she said “ok bye.” Now I’m wondering how necessary any procedure I’ve ever had done on both of our dogs really was.

What a nightmare of an experience. I had a very scary urgent situation with my dog today, I called them as I was driving there. I was on hold for 6-7 minutes. I made sure that I clicked the line for ER. They told me to just show up and call when I was outside, I was not even asked what my issue was. I got there less than 5 minutes later. This was before 3:30 pm. There are signs in their parking lot that say 24/7. Their site says they're a 24 Hour hospital at the top, and specifically under this location. The SAME person I just spoke with answered again, began to triage me, and then after hearing that my dog had collapsed, they said, oh hold on. placed me on hold, and came back a minute later to say "we won't have a doctor here tonight, we're going to have to refer you somewhere else". The other ER was now double the trip, during an emergency situation. I will never trust this place again. My pet wasn't triaged, or even looked at. This was an absolutely mind blowing experience with an emergency practice.

I drove from Massachusetts on a Sunday before I had to leave town for a month because all the vet hospitals near me were “at capacity.” They took my cat in right away and saw her, even though I was told it would be a 3-hour wait because she wasn’t technically critical (she had a UTI). The vet explained everything really well, discussed her treatment, and they were all very kind with me, even though I did walked in instead of going to curbside! Took 20 min maybe. Very impressed and appreciative!

Wayanette is the rudest employee I have EVER dealt with. She yelled, yes yelled, at me over the phone when I asked for a rabies expiration. She then HUNG UP on me when I answered her question 2 times of the dogs name. She was on speaker in front of my clients. The clients said, yeah.. she's always nasty. She's so hostile towards us.. this worker is the rudest and most HOSTILE employee I've ever dealt with in my 12 years of working with animals. Turns out numerous clients are scared of her attitude. What a shame. I am completely put off. Sharon was absolutely pleasant and helpful. I don't feel comfortable ever bringing my own dogs there now. Can only imagine her behind closed doors with animals. I am still in shock
