I take my dog to get his nails done and they are very good and understanding with him, he gets anxiety attacks. They are really good both in the groomer and in store.

Disrespectful! Everytime I go in there more than one woman has an attitude with me like they hate there lives and there taking it out on me. It’s like they always assume that I’m going to be a jerk reason who know why?!!! Their always assuming things that they have no right to ask me; trying to tell me what I can’t do! The DMV is more respectful than them! At least the DMV would put up a fake smile!

Torrington petco is awful for grooming! Tried to drop off my dogs for grooming. Before i could hand the groomer my dog, they started to poke and pull at my dog "to do an inspection" without preparing me or the dog. Of course she nipped at the stranger who was pulling at her feet and backside! Then the groomer declared my dog as being aggressive...she is a teacup yorkie, not a pitbull!! They treated her like an inanimate object and not a live pet who maybe scared and need a minute to get acclimated to the environment! I will never go here again!!!

Has a good variety at a reasonable price

Very clean. Everyone was very helpful and polite.

Mackenzie is phenomenal with the dog training and all the staff are very helpful. From dog grooming to fish help.

Horrific grooming experience. Would never go back here again. Young, unprofessional girls that were "groomers" that didn't want to be working. They didn't want my business and did not treat me or my dog with respect or kindness. Never again.

The people who work at this location are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked. The only complaint is that there are times where it's difficult to find a staff member and get help.

Was here for dog training. Employees are friendly and the trainer is awesome.

The building itself was clean and full of awesome animals, but I was turned off by the staff and how much of a negative vibe I recieved. I own numerous critters and have all the nessacary accommodations for my new hamster i purchased. I was constantly told what i tried to buy for the little guy was "inadequate" and was talked down to on my choices of treats, and food, even to the litter. Needless to say I'll head to another place next time for my fuzzy friends

Sold my girlfriend a guinea pig with an ear infection and after doing some research, Petco and other pet store chains don’t watch over these animals and don’t care for them properly. Don’t get from pet store chains. Get rescues.

I bring all 3 of my dogs here for grooming and have always had a great experience! Morgan did such a great job with our Shitzu. The whole grooming staff is very pleasant I highly recommend the Torrington store for grooming!!

This is where I get all of my pet supplies, and even where I bought my bearded dragons from! I wouldn't suggest buying a snake, haven't had any luck with those. But, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, overall it's a great store for your furry (or scaly) friends!
