Our cat recently had six teeth removed and immediately prior to the surgery I had concerns and the office manager answered all of my questions. They take great care of our cats and are caring and wonderful people.

My dog was very sick and they were so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The prices are also great at this location

We are 1st time pet owners. They have been so helpful, our pup loves the doctors and they are always willing to answer any questions we have. Five stars.

We’ve been with Norwichtown Vet since we moved to Norwich in 2017. Dr. Satterfield was great with our senior dog during routine visits and managing her mobility issues. He’s straightforward and won’t b.s. you into doing procedures that aren’t really necessary or in your pet’s best interest. I was always happy with our dog’s care, but it was the service the staff provided when we knew it was time to say goodbye to our dog this past spring that really amazed me. Even though the office was always great with our dog, she’s always been terrified at any vet/groomer and it only got worse as she aged. I’d been dreading the day where I’d have to drag her into a place she’s terrified of in her final moments. Luckily, this office provides an at-home service. One of the vets and an assistant came to our house and let our dog get comfortable with them first. She went to sleep peacefully in her bed and home, surrounded by her family. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to say goodbye and we were extra thankful for the kind staff of Norwichtown that week. We just finally adopted a new dog who had a rough start to life and had her first vet visit yesterday. Dr. Tucker and the tech were so amazingly patient with her and took things very slow given we don’t know much about her history. I’ve probably said enough, but I’d be remiss not to mention the support staff who are always very kind and helpful on the phone when getting us set up for appointments, ordering refills, etc. All in all, this office is great and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a vet!

Over the years, I've tried different vets and they were all fine, but DR GEOFFREY SATTERFIELD has earned my full trust providing care for my dog. He's caring, thorough and listens. He also calls to follow up on the dogs condition and provided his cell phone to call if ANY problems - ANY hour - if anything arises to call him! His staff is also very compassionate and caring. The rates are quite reasonable and there's never any surprises and charges are always reviewed in advance. I'm extremely happy that we found this vet practice and so is Captain MOrgan!

My mom and I had to take our little dog hazelnut to the vet. My aunt who is my mom's sister recommend this place and I have got to say that this place is so great. We will definitely have to come back. I loved how the doctor Dr. Tucker sat down on the floor and got to know our dog. We took our dog there because she was having stomach issues and they gave us some food and some medication. I have got to say that it worked and she is feeling so much better. Thank you Dr. Tucker for taking care of our dog.

Excellent vet. Received great care for my rescue dog including spay and heartworm treatment. Very knowledgeable and very available on call after hours for urgent questions. I live about an hour away and if I can’t find similar quality in a Vet near Hartford I will be going back

Absolutely amazing experience . My cat was seem on an emergency basis on a Saturday and not even a patient there...well she will be now..

We had a vet closer to home, but when we had an emergency they weren't helpful. (I should thank them.) This vet is amazing.

Our pets have been cared for here for decades. Recent renovations and upgrades in computer systems has made it easy and convenient. Dr S. is a very caring and sympathetic man. All doctors and staff are great.

By far the best veterinary practice in the area and maybe the state. Veterinarians and technicians sincerely care about the health of your pets and eagerly make themselves available at all hours. We have unfortunately needed to contact Dr. Satterfield in the middle of the night numerous times, and he always answers delighted to help and patient with our emotional state (we are pretty much always panicking). This practice really has changed our lives, as we used to drive nearly an hour to an emergency animal hospital where we would have to expose our ancient and fragile felines to total strangers. As our oldest cats neared the end of their lives, we were immeasurably grateful to have found this office, and believe sincerely that their involvement contributed to our dear ladies both living to be twenty-one.

Have been to many vet hospitals in my lifetime with a variety of pets from macaws to ferrets. We have been seen by both Dr. Satterfield and Tucker. Both vets are excellent. Our first visit, Dr. Satterfield caught an issue another vet did not catch. At our second visit Dr. Tucker took a great deal of time to explain medications and puppy behavior. Professional, warm and caring are qualities I’d like to see in any vet treating my pets. I strongly recommend this vet hospital.

Norwich town veterinarian hospital was first choice when I got my first puppy and became last destination for my puppy all health need specially after two life saving surgeries every time i called for help their staff offered helping hands I will definitely recommend to everyone with pet

I wish we didn’t move! They took us in on a Sunday when we had an emergency and saw us for a follow up. Reasonably priced and very caring.

We have had great experiences with the Norwichtown Vet service. Whenever we call they always work us into their busy schedule even though we don't have an appointment. We had an issue with our dog one Sunday and the doctor came into the hospital and took care of our dog. He dropped what he was doing just to help us. We couldn't thank him enough.

I had never been to this vet office before last weekend. I ended up needing to contact the emergency on call vet not one, but TWO weekends in a row. I've been helped by both Dr. Satterfield and Dr. White now, and they are both thorough, kind, accommodating, and overall wonderful!

Norwichtown isn’t my usual vet but Ive found myself calling them a couple of times as their hours are more convenient for my schedule. On Sunday afternoon my sick cat took a turn for the worse and I knew it was time. Any open vets were not available to help us, my usual was closed. I remember seeing Norwichtown had an on call option (or we would have taken the trip to ER) and Dr. White met us right away. This spoke volumes, it’s time to just completely make the switch to Norwichtown. This is the 2nd cat they’ve helped “cross the rainbow bridge” this year and I felt compassion from the vets and staff. I’ve met with all 3 vets and they were all lovely. I greatly appreciate what they, and their staff, are doing. I know it can’t be easy. Thank you! ♥️

Thursday night my new pup developed this lump within 20 minutes. We weren’t sure what happened since he was acting normal but we decided it was best to get checked out. I called my own vet and was told next Wednesday if first available.. I then called here because it said they were open still since it was 4pm. The staff was so friendly and got us in in 30min. We walked right in and they helped right away. The owner Dr. Satterfield was caring and professional. We got US, X-rays and medications and sent us home, he called the next morning to check on Jackson and make sure he was doing well.. turns out just a hematoma. But they showed compassion and urgency for us. Long story short we are defiantly switching here for our dogs primary care!! Highly recommend!

I really love Dr. Geoff (I forgot his last name lol) he’s so nice and so are his staff. He doesn’t waste your time and your in and out of this place unlike other places who leave people waiting with scared pets. His techs are knowledgeable and are happy to answer questions. The doctor also made me feel comfortable in case of an emergency and explained all of his hours in detail.I would definitely recommend this group to pet owners.

This vet hospital is one of the cleanest, friendly places, and they always find time to see you sick pet quickly that I have ever seen . I have been a pet parent for 45 years so this is no lye I would use this vet first in any case they will get your four legged friend in the best shape they can be in.

Great vets and vet technicians who accommodate on short notice as requested. Very friendly and remembers his clients despite being a very busy practice. Provides farm calls for large and small animals alike. Nice office in convenient location.

We LOVE Norwichtown Veterinary Hospital. Our oldest dog broke his knee when he was only four months old. Dr. S was amazing. He got us into a surgeon ASAP. Dr. S called to check on Scout. He has messaged to check on our animals during the weekend. You couldn’t ask for more from a vet.

Dr. White is a godsend! I had an emergency with my baby green cheek conure on Sunday morning at 7am and called Norwichtown vet because they were right down the street and needed immediate help. Dr. White offered his help even though exotic pets aren’t really seen there. He told us come right away. When we got there he immediately examined my bird and did X-rays, he went above and beyond to help my bird and myself! I could not appreciate the kindness and effort he put into a random person (wasn’t a prior patient) calling for help more! Thank you for everything!

My new puppy was on the brink of death with pneumonia, all vets were saying she was gonna die and they basically couldn’t do much for us. Dr.S saved her life, she is now growing bigger, stronger and gets to see another day. I will NEVER bring my pets anywhere else but to Norwichtown vet
