I ordered a bird cage brand A $ & E for over $500, they sent me a rusted cage with holes are not line up correctly to put together. I requested a exchange or return but they couldn’t because they said it was sent to me by a third party which when I ordered they never mentioned about a third party….., I called them 5-7 times and every time I got the same answer. ( please hold I’ll call the third party company…., after a few minutes n they said they will get back to me after 24-48 hrs but they never did) Petco how can you do business like this?

Employees great, store is usually stocked fine, but how they treat animals they ship is horrible company wide.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Purchased a baby corn snake yesterday and noticed it was fed a pinkie That was awfully large. Came home from school and saw the snake tried to vomit it out and suffocated in the process. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since I’ve bought it. Honestly baffled at the lack of knowledge these people have.

Do not take your dogs here you will regret the service is terrible today the whole street is made of ice and they do not care, they just want you to arrive at the exact time of your appointment and to top it off they do a bad job

I was given a toy for a xmas present for my 17 yr old dog that had a squeaky part in it. I didn't have a receipt, the store would not take it back. It cost $4.95. I didn't want her to bite it with the part in it since she's elderly. The manager Marc was very unprofessional. I wanted a store credit so I could apply it for a dog collar instead. He wouldn't give me a store credit. He was not helpful, and I will never shop there again. Very bad experience.

Cordial and pleasant places to shop for your pets

They had what I was looking for. The only down side was how expensive it was. I saw the same brand and size of cat food for double the price I usually pay for it. But I definitely will go back.

Good friendly environment clean but low on some supply

I like Petco because they always carry my dogs dental product when Petsmart is always out of stock - I can order online and pick up in store so easily. The two locations I've visited have great customer service, both Middletown and Newington

Typically take my dog here for nail trimming at the salon but have taken my dog here for self wash. Great facilities and had everything I need

Helpful staff but you can tell they were short staffed. I went into the store expecting some good sales with the signs outside advertising up to 50% off food and supplies but I struggled to find anything more than a few dollars off.

Dog treats? The place to be. The staff? Nice and awesome. Biggest shout out to Christian who multi-tasked during my visit to help almost all the customers in no time at all... he is a keeper!
