Everything has been so lovely, Dr. Kris & Elissa & Apryle provided everything we needed and more, from the communication every step of the way to the heartfelt note, clay pawprint and the complimentary grief resources, they made this hard process a smooth as it could be and took care of our special girl Mia <3

Thank you Dr. Klie and Nathalie for making one of the most heartbreaking days for my family a little easier. Putting your best friend to sleep isn’t easy. Dr. Klie and Nathalie were compassionate and kind and made the process easier for us. I’m grateful for Final Journey because it allowed us to say our last goodbye’s at home where our girl Sally felt safe and comfortable.

I can't thank Final Journey, Dr. Kris Klie, and Nathalie enough for making the passing of my dear sweet Bella as peaceful, calm, and stress free as possible. They were kind, compassionate, and caring on one of the most difficult days and treated my sweet girl like she was their own. They are truly special individuals for offering this amazing service. I could not imagine having my precious girl get anxious and stressed by going to the vet for her final trip. Having her in the comfort of home, surrounded by familiar things, calm, and at ease. My heart is broken over the loss of her, but my final gift was to end her suffering in the most peaceful way possible ❤

I'm so glad our vet recommended Final Journey. I know our boy went as peacefully and painlessly as possible. The vets kept us informed of what was going on and answered all of our questions. They made us feel as relaxed as possible and let us have as much time as we needed with our boy after the procedure. The person I spoke to on the phone was so wonderful and calming. Thank you for everything.

BEWARE: Kristen Klie Is Dishonest …..we are VICTIMS!!! Our unfortunate experience is our facts & we have a right to leave a review.. Just because someone here had a “peaceful” visit certainly doesn’t mean everyone will, or did. I’ve chosen to speak up (many do not), while our euthanasia fell on deaf ears.......our very traumatic experience and the pain for what a very shy loving pet needlessly went through carries on heavily, all because of this service’s unnecessary rough rushed handling, a misled unplanned out of control paced visit on a dying loved pet already in tremendous pain! To those of you, If, which may actually be a real review or not a “coached” review, see yourselves as very lucky that things went well with your euthanasia here We became a learning portion in Klie’s journey, at our expense, we suffer from it beyond words... Next, a review that rambles on glorifying someone actually sounds suspiciously like a defensive vet that knows they done wrong, hence, back at ya......”D J” your accusations are erroneous, and you may actually be one of many of these over glorifying reviews here that cannot be trusted. It is highly inappropriate to attack someone else’s very painful and truthful experience, truly cruel FYI: From what I’ve been told, people only started using Final Journey because of covid. Point being, it’s actually a business opportunity for Final Journey to increase their sales while other reputable services declined the risk of spreading covid; otherwise, Final Journey would NOT have been the recommendation for us at all. We were told of other reputable services, and IT IS so so so unfortunate at the time these other reputable services were unavailable. Obviously, it’s well-known that grief is part of loss and everyone is different going through the process; however, our experience was piled on with a botched rough rushed painful euthanasia experience that left us in the center of a swirling nightmare right in our home, It’s called, traumatic stress & complicated bereavement which is quite different from the “normal” grieving process; we should try not to confuse the difference. Our experience was beyond grief because of Final Journey’s unexpected way of handling the whole situation. A situation you don’t find out until it’s too late, SHOCKED, that’s a euthanasia here.....risky. Don’t be her next victim, it has been terribly painful because of how they handled this entire visit... You only get one chance to do it right at a euthanasia, we were very wronged, be very careful who you chose.

I will keep this brief, as others have already said much of what I would like to convey. Final Journey was the absolute best decision our family could have made in regards to the end of our beloved elderly cat’s life. From the immediate response to my inquiry made via their website, to the tender and compassionate manner of speaking, to the beautifully organized and gentle care provided on the day of, right down to the options and ease of payment; the process was as painless as it could have been. The grief of losing a pet is unlike any other, but knowing that you provided your animal a loving and dignified farewell makes it a little easier. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone who is facing the most difficult part of being a pet owner.

This vet injected and euthanized two healthy, bonded sibling, six year old Chow Chows in Waterbury hours ago. How hard did she try to reach out to the Monroe Shelter whom is excellent or anyone else for that matter to prevent this? So, the story is that the landlord extended the lease and the deadline was Noon for the family to move and their new apartment could not accept pets. At 11:30 AM, I stood in her family's yard to inform the vet that we were there to rescue the Chow Chows as was asked by a family member the prior weeks before. The CT area Chow Chow Rescue groups are a strong network of experienced foster and adoption people well versed in chow behaviors. Chows can be tempermental. The other person in that family had reached out and we had running dialogue for two weeks. Though several home offers fell through - finally, we landed a Danbury home for them. YET, the Vet stood on the family porch with her mind made up, asserting, "I have already given the injection. The kidneys will have irreversible damage. We cannot stop the process." In summary, Oh it's a "Final Journey" alright no matter what the health status. If you wish to put your pet down, it appears any reason will work for the business named, Final Journey.

I can't say enough about the experience I had with Final Journeys. Dr. Kris Klie and her assistant were incredibly kind and compassionate both with me and with my beloved Maebel, a 13 year old Golden. They gave me as much time as I needed to snuggle with Maebel and say my goodbyes. Dr. Klie talked to me about Maebel and her personality and also what had been going on with her health. She made me feel confident that this was the best, most humane, and most dignified choice for my dog. I have every confidence that from Maebel's perspective, she just fell asleep in my arms in her own home (the first injection is just a sedative). It was VERY peaceful--the best case scenario for a situation that obviously was very painful. It's hard to express how grateful I am for the service they provided our family. I have never written any kind of review about any service, but I felt compelled to write this to tell any family that has a pet nearing the end of life that Final Journeys and Dr. Klie are incredible.

Don’t risk it with Final Journey!!! Go to Dr. Dale Krier Creature Comforts Mobile Veterinarian And Home Pet Euthanasia or Gentle Goodbye Veterinary Hospice & At-home Euthanasia. Professionals have agreed how Very Very UNETHICAL inappropriate behavior by Final Journey! BIG NOPE ????, not suffering from so called stages....of loss but, I was specifically told by professionals I’m suffering from the way Final Journey handled our entire situation.....which is called COMPLICATED PAINFUL ABUSE all because of KRISTEN KLIE & her sick abusive assistant Klie came racing in at my beautiful hurting sweetheart......without EVER even speaking with us! ....AT ALL.....Outrageous!!......her assistant chased her and pulled her up by her neck dangling in mid air....and forced her on me! All with a my sweet suffering baby having a fractured PAINFUL MOUTH TUMOR!!! The ONLY reason these SICK people were used was because no one else was , right, covid. That is THE only reason others may have suggested......BUT, GET THIS .....NO ONE EVER HAD EVEN HEARD of place....OTHER REVIEWS HERE ARE .....made up, since this happened suddenly F.J has more reviews, Huh! Don’t be fooled by all the other made up reviews mostly liked by her & Staff! This is a real REAL REVIEW.... A very painful journey for us all because of this service, Final Journey, we learned the owner is absolutely disrespectful and unethical, her standards of a so called peaceful euthanasia wrecked us! RETHINK THE VALIDITY OF REVIEWS on the web that are ALL 5 stars, this is certainly something to question with this business owner......it is NOT POSSIBLE in my opinion....I am witness to that by a devastating euthanasia experience with Final Journey I witnessed a horrible euthanasia with the owner and an assistant that said nothing who end up causing an act beyond ever imagined that anyone would ever even treat a dying hurting sweet harmless baby These people are clearly MORALLY DISTORTED and UNETHICAL standards , they need to take responsibility for their irresponsible behavior & negligence. This IS A REAL REVIEW, I SWEAR TO THIS, PERIOD. Don’t risk it with these people !

There is nothing fun about saying goodbye to a member of your family. Dr. Kris and team were so kind and warm through a difficult process. We felt informed, supported and she is doing such a wonderful service in helping pets peacefully transition at home. She knew all the right things to say and wrapped me in the biggest hug and let me know things were alright. Can’t recommend enough.

I’d like to thank Dr. Klie and her staff for the exceptional and professional service provided to my family, and especially our beloved dog, Nancy. We are thankful for the compassion showed and delicate handling throughout the process. Final Journey came highly recommended by our veterinarian and that speaks volumes. Thank you again for everything. - and to the person who is suffering to a point where you are posting fake reviews to try and derail such a wonderful doctor and company -> we don’t believe you at all. Make all the fake reviews you want, it doesn’t change all the good Final Journey is doing for their community.

Unfortunately we had to utilize the services of final journey today for our 17 year old golden retriever. It was the first time we had to euthanize a beloved dog and we were reluctant to call. Final Journey was amazing though. They accommodated us the same day and were very pleasant to deal with on the phone. When Dr. Judy and Ashley arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure that not only our dog was comfortable but that we were to. They allowed us all the time we needed between each step and we’re just through and through true professionals. It’s never easy saying goodbye to a beloved pet but they made the process the best that it can be. Thank you for what you guys do!

The doctor was professional, sincere and comforting. We were devastated that we had to put our dog down and we can’t say anything negative about the experience. They were gentle towards my dog and extremely concerned for my wife and I during the process. Final Journey came highly recommended by friends and doctors and I understand why now. I also noticed negative reviews and it’s obvious it’s by one individual, repeating the same thing over and over. Clearly it’s a competitor or a pet owner going through grief. Join me in praying for this person as they clearly need our love and support. Thank you Dr. Klie for everything. Xoxo

I couldn’t have been happier that we decided to use Final Journey to help our buddy pass over the rainbow bridge. Being able to be in the comfort of my own home in his favorite spot was very special to us. The staff that came to my house was nothing but compassionate and comforting. They were able to turn an extremely crummy situation into a very peaceful experience. I can’t thank you guys enough for everything ♥️ If anyone is considering doing this at home instead of your veterinary office I would highly recommend! Extremely grateful for you Dr. Klie ♥️

Where do I begin? First, I’d like to address the one negative review I read - that person is obviously suffering “anger” from Kubler-Ross’ 5 stages of death. The paintbrush he/she is using to paint a negative image of Final Journey is completely erroneous and can’t be trusted. Final Journey came highly recommended by 4 reputable veterinarian clinics in my area. (Yes, we called around) We made the phone call to Final Journey and it was handled with compassion and great care. The receptionist asked personal questions and made you feel comfortable. On Thursday (July 15) scheduled the euthanasia for today (Saturday, July 17) but things took a turn for the worse. The next day we called and said that our beloved Spencer needed help immediately instead (Friday, July 16) This seemed like an impossible request, as they’re extremely busy and had a full day’s schedule - but they called back to let me know they could help us out. The owner, Doctor Kris Klie came to our home at 2:11pm and we were relieved to find her to be exceptionally caring and gentle. Spencer was laying on the ottoman and Kris said he could stay right as he his. Kris placed a wee-wee pad underneath Spencer with the anticipation of leakage or defecation. She allowed us as much time as possible before the first painless injection on his back leg was administered. Every step of the way, Kris explained what was about to happen and was available for any questions or curiosities. Spencer received his first dose at 2:29pm which placed him into a drunken relaxed state. Kris explained that the next injection would slow/stop his heart and if we needed more time to say goodbye, we could. The final injection was slowly injected with professionalism and care. At 2:32pm, he was pronounced and we sobbed uncontrollably. Kris was super sweet, offering tissues and support throughout the process. She saw herself out of our house while we stayed with Spencer and grieved our loss. We received follow up communications from Kris which we felt was above and beyond in the following day. They even went as far as to contact our primary vet to notify them of Spencer’s passing which we were pleasantly surprised. We received a phone call with condolences from our vet as a result. Dr. Kris Klie’s bedside manner was exceptional and should serve as an example to other veterinarians. I work in the death care industry and as a professional myself, Kris and her company, Final Journey receives my highest recommendation. Kris, thank you sincerely for being so kind, compassionate and professional to our family and especially Spencer. We will see you someday for when Bentley meets his brother over the rainbow bridge. Xoxo Danny & Vince

Great experience from the second we called. The vet was at the house within the next few hours, and we received a kind, heartfelt, and sincere sympathy card.

I have had to say goodbye to many 4-legged family members at the vet's and due to Covid restrictions they would not let me be there when I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat of 22 years. I was not about to let him pass by himself, so I reached out to Final Journey and I am so glad I did! They made this most difficult time so much easier and peaceful for both of us, I will always use them in the future. Thank you so much for your caring, compassion, thoughtfulness and kind and loving words. It means so much at such a difficult time. I would recommend them to anyone and my only regret is that I didn't know about them earlier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Massively ignorant and insensitive! The way they handled this entire situation Destroyed us forever! Totally Honest review!!.........Believe this, we learned the very very very hard way with this one......do NOT believe or trust all businesses reviews, but this review is absolute truth We are victims of cruelty, absolutely endlessly devastated by Final Journey’s entire inappropriate process with our beloved precious pet, traumatized by Klie, lack of consideration thus continues unresolved.....we have factually experienced a euthanasia beyond grief, the ongoing trauma has never ended......all because of the entire mishandling by Final Journey AND, this business controls reviews to look mistakenly all positive, thus not honest ....this is deceptive behavior

Dr. Salvatore was wonderful. I had to put down my wonderful Frisco today and she walked us through the whole process. It was quick, peaceful and loving. I highly recommend Final Journey for your pet’s transition over. They’ll be taken care of and treated with the highest dignity.

I cannot say enough about this company. They're absolutely wonderful. Especially during covid, we wanted to have an in house service. Our beloved dog deserved that & we were so grateful. They handled everything perfectly. The vet that came, Dr. Judy was so sweet & considerate. She even sent a sympathy card for our beloved boy. Within 2 weeks we received our boy's ashes and he's home. We are forever grateful for this wonderful service. ❤

What an incredible service. A few weeks ago we found out our 12 year old Quincy had an inoperable brain tumor. At the time, he had no symptoms, but once they set in a few days later we knew this day would come more quickly than anyone wanted or was prepared for. Yesterday we decided it was time to help Quincy over the rainbow bridge ???????? and this afternoon two of the most gentle souls came to our house to do just that. They took their time to greet us, hug us, love on our other dog, and learn a bit about Quincy. They were willing to explain as much or as little of the process as we desired and always made sure everyone was comfortable with where they were when the time came. Nothing was rushed, but everything was done efficiently and without being cold. What a terrible thing it is for there to be such a need, but am I ever grateful they exist. They are worth every penny and more.

Dr. Kris and her assistant Nathalie exceeded expectations. We were a late afternoon appointment, but if this pair was tired from a long day, they weren’t showing it. They were both incredibly sensitive, gentle, and professional throughout the entire process. They made what was an incredibly difficult time for my family a little bit easier and for that we will always be grateful.
