Im a new customer and everyone treated me very well and they love Pablo which is my dog. I highly recommend this place. If i could give 10 stars i would this place is awesome and fast. When i need to reach someone i can no waiting and the prices are reasonable. Keep up the good work

New to area and dog got sick. They would not even take a look at him. What kind of vet turns away sick animals with no customers

If it's compassion you're looking for think twice about going to Mount Carmel veterinary hospital Our dog of 11 years was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure They explained the symptoms and outcome to my husband but of course with such devastating news he was a little taken back When he arrived home and told me the news we had questions so we called back got the receptionist and when we asked her some questions her response was we already went over this with you They gave us some special food of course we had to pay for it for his diet but when I called and explained to them that he wasn't eating it well he has to how do you get a £90 dog to eat something they don't want to eat their response well he needs to eat it Again my husband asked for questions and their response was we already discussed as we don't need to talk about it again They refused to talk to him because he was so irate that they would only talk to me to me I asked questions and their answer to me was well we told your husband that instead of just answering my questions which would have solved a lot of heartache they just couldn't be bothered I explained to them that he was very upset that they should have a little bit more compassion and understanding because you don't know what other issues are going on in our personal life and to have this added to it you should show some compassion of which obviously they have none so I would not recommend going to Mount Carmel veterinary hospital if you have any kind of devastating disease or anything with a bad outcome But I highly recommend Cheshire veterinary hospital where we ended up taking our dog where he eventually passed away

The older phone lady that answers the phone is extremely rude and dismissive. She is not considerate at all and always has a terrible attitude. Claims that she couldn’t reach us on the phone, but she never left a voicemail regarding the appointment or anything. Not too professional at all, they pick and choose who to be nice to.

I've never had a bad experience at Merryfield. Dr. D has now treated both my dogs with the utmost love and care. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains everything in a way you can understand. She has always answered all of my (numerous) questions completely and without making me feel rushed. The office staff is always pleasant and helpful. I have nothing bad to say at all. Here is my Peanut enjoying a pup cup after her visit today.

Waiting to hear on the update of my best friends dog who went into anaphylactic shock from a bee sting and was refused care by the first hospital it was rushed to, Merrifield. The dog was rushed to another animal hospital in hopes to make it. Absolutely heartbreaking and completely uncalled for. In a time of desperate emergency, don’t choose Merrifield first.

We had to bring our bunny in for an emergency appointment. Due to COVID, we were not able to go into the vet with the bunny but they called us and kept us up to speed with his care. The vet listened to our concerns, and really seemed to care what was wrong with bunny. She did an amazing job with him and he is on the mend. I would totally recommend them to anyone. I will update as we use them more.

I have been going to Merrifield for at least 5 years now with my four cars and I have nothing but positive things to say. Dr.D is the absolute best veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She is kind, responsive, doesn't try to spend all you money, but also has the animal's best interest in mind. Dr.D is also straight to the point, but has a way of doing so without losing her great bedside manner. The vet techs and receptionist are always so sweet, nice ans caring. I have probably been to this establishment a dozen times now and am satisfied, even if its bad news, each time. I can't thank the staff at Merrifield enough. I honestly should have left this review years ago, but I didn't realize how amazing they were until I had poor experiences elsewhere.

We are long time customers of Ridgehill Animal Hospital, who recommends Merryfield Veterinary Hospital, for the care of ferrets. We see Dr. DiLeone, who has been taking care of our dogs at Ridgehill for years, and as always, she is amazing! She takes care of all of our babies perfectly, and always with compassion. She also, takes the time to make sure that we know how to best care for our furbabies. Everyone I've met here shows great care to our pets and to us. I really appreciate your excellent care! Thank you!!

Dr. D truly loves animals. Willing to always go the extra mile to help your furry friends. She is an amazing and person. Always takes the time to talk to you as a person. I wish medical providers were more like her.

Totally comfortable with merryfield. All the staff is always always polite and professional. Wil never use another vet. They are so loving to my pet.

When Dr Engstrom was alive this was the best palce to bring your pet. Dr. E was are rare breed. I brought all my pets there for decades. They took great care of them. I moved and found a closer vet. I still here good things about Merry Field. I'll always remember this place fondly. I go past it all the time now on my way to Counter Weight a very fine brewery just around the corner.

Would not recommend this vet very unfriendly and all the staff seems like they don’t care . Almost as them treating your dog is a annoyance to them. Had lab work done it’s been over a week and still no phone call from the office.

Been taking my pets here for years. Prices are the same as most places but I choose here because the staff and doctors are so great.

Ok, i have lived down the street from merryfield my whole life and we brought multiple of our animals here over the years but a few years ago we stopped bringing our dogs because they were nothing but rude to us and talked down to us so we changed vets. fast forward to a few months ago my father brought home an 8 week old kitten that he got from merryfield, they told us they gave her her first round of shots and everything so she was all set, he said they were nice to him and had no issues at all so we figured why not give them a shot again its been a few years everyone deserves a second chance. so i call and schedule her second appointment first the woman was rude and short with me on the phone, im a teacher and told her i needed an appointment after 4 she huffed about it and told be they only had appointments at 4 i told her that would be fine, so when i go in the day of the visit i stood at the front desk for at least 20 min while there were FOUR people sitting behind the desk staring at me just talking to each other not a single one of them even acknowledged me. finally someone came and checked us in and told us to go to the exam room, then we get put in an exam room with no AC on an 80 degree day, we are sweating when a vet tech came in with the paperwork and had the wrong file and apparently multiple for my one cat, then the vet comes in that goes fine no issues there we go back out to make our next appointment to get the last few shots she needs and once again i ask for an appointment after 4 and the woman gets so mad at me and tells me they have only one appointment at 4 on Tuesday i take it no arguments. well the Sunday before our vet visit on Tuesday my cat starts to throw up roundworms (didn't know what they were at the time) so i take her to the emergency vet to get that fixed and on Tuesday i called merryfield to ask if she was ever dewormed, they told me "oh yeah Cheshire vet did on Sunday" i repeat again asking if they ever dewormed her and the woman told me that she couldn't tell me if they had or not in the most snotty voice, i then asked if because shes on meds and had a fever if she would be able to get her shots to which i got a snap back answer of a NO! that was my last straw i will never bring any of my animals back ever again. they were rude to my whole family and i gave them multiple shots. they told me that when ever they get in a rescue cat the first thing they do id deworm them even if there are no signs of worms and they had my cat with them for over 2 weeks before we adopted her and not once did someone deworm her, this could have spread to my other animals and they would have all gotten roundworm if i hadn't seen her throw up the worms.

Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. While I was waiting they were loudly complaining about other customers.
