Absolutely perfect experience These professionals invented customer service

I have a high performance five year old young jumper who was competing at the top circuit in the nation, however he injured himself back in October, and we called Salmon Brook immediately to take care of the wound. After multiple visit, the horse is not getting better, and we have to find a different vet to help him. And after their “care”, he appears to have bone restructuring and infection at the area of wound. If we stick with Salmon Brook he would never recover from the injury! !!And maybe can’t be ridden again!! Please be cautious when you chose them for your equine friends especially the high performance ones

Great staff, very friendly and caring.

Recently my mom's rescue was diagnosed with 6 mast cell tumors. We have not ever come across this in all our experience being dog owners. They went over and beyond to make sure we understood EVERYTHING. From what they were. Options and procedure to recovery.THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL and patient. Lady has 6 tumors and the price to have them removed and time frame was very reasonable. Her operation is coming up soon. Please jeep Lady in your prayers for a speedy recovery. THANK YOU! ????

We spent 30 years bringing our pets to Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital and were skeptical of finding a great vet once we moved to Granby. However, we are very please with the friendliness, compassion, and professionalism of the staff at Salmon Brook. They have vets that serve both companion and farm animals. We will continue to bring our dogs, cats, and chickens here.

I love this vet! The staff is always super friendly and always makes me feel good about leaving my cat in their hands. I always feel a little anxious leaving my kitty somewhere all day but they have never let me down and she is always doing great after I pick her up from this vet. I moved a little farther away recently but still choose to make the 25 minute drive over rather than finding a closer vet since I trust them a lot. I have heard about bad experiences with some vets but I don’t see that happening here which makes me feel good. I know they want to help my pet and care about her health. Definitely recommend coming here with your pet!! :)

From the kind receptionist answering the phone when I called to double check my appointment date, to the friendly vet tech who wrote down my concerns and took my cat in for his appointment, and the unhurried vet who called me during the exam to let me know my cat was doing great and went over the details of his exam.. I am so thankful to have this team to work with on behalf of my cat's health.

I'm so happy I started coming to Salmon Brook with my pet mouse. Literally everyone I've interacted with there has been excellent and my mouse has received excellent care. The staff always show caring and concern for my pet and never act like he's "just" a mouse as I have sometimes experienced elsewhere. Really knowledgeable, friendly and responsive people. Thank you so much to everyone there, you are the best.

All the staff go above and beyond, taking time to answer questions and provide quality care. The veterinarians call, explaining test results, or even just to follow up after surgery to see how our kitty is doing. Very impressed with this hospital.

Dont know what happened they got a new mgr she is beyond rude they take phone off the hook for hours prices are outrageous they try to force u in there..sad really sad im sure the vets are still great but management is horrible and bring your wallet its def going to cost a fortune..good luck!!

Very happy with all my experiences throughout the years with Salmon Brook! This time especially, I had an emergency with my tortoise and Salmon Brook was able to squeeze her in and help her out! I am very happy with how they are very friendly and professional to their clients.

They were great. Even though I had to wait a bit, it wasn't because they were behind. It was due to an emergency of a family pet that had crossed the rainbow bridge. They let me know and not just left me waiting. They were courteous and very knowledgeable. My dog has hook worm common in Greyhounds. Dr G explained the hook worm cycle and the medicine that will cure her. My last vet never said anything despite my questions. I am so glad I changed vets. The best place to take your family pup for the best care.

Nest people and hospital for pet I ever been

I can't say enough good things about this place and the staff. We recently had to put down our dog, Winston who went septic and a pet rat who grew an abscess on her neck that caused a lot bleeding and couldn't be saved. We have worked closely with Dr.Mcnamara over the last year or so. She knows her stuff and is incredibly compassionate. Hands down the best vet in the area. I can't thank them enough

You will not be disappointed! What a wonderful staff. They are super nice from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. They talked to my dog more than me! My puppy was super excited and comfortable. They took the time to get to know her and her get to know them before going into the exam itself. There was so pressure on my pup and they let her go at her own pace. Super relaxed environment. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great vet for furry family member.

Dr. Weber is awsome with my horses. He takes time to answer all my questions and truly cares about the well-being of my pets. The entire staff is wonderful to work with. Wouldn't go anywhere else but there

Words can’t describe how amazing this veterinary hospital is. From the receptionist staff, techs, kennel staff and doctors. My dog had a host of health problems from orthopedic to skin to major organ disease. They always treated us with kindness, understanding and respect. I used them throughout my dogs life from 2014-2021. My boy has since passed on but the absolute kindness and genuine sadness they shared with me over his passing I will always remember. They were and are family. You can trust your animals here without a doubt. It is worth every penny.

Great docs..usually very nice but new office mgr not to friendly..used to have that neighborhood feel if you know what I mean she's all business..if it's all about that I can find a cheaper place with good docs.. just saying..got to remember more than money matters!

I first came to Salmon Brook Vet about 12 years or so again with my Lil' Bear,she was gravely ill. The Vet at that time fixed her up as best as they could and told me to give her Miralax everyday for the rest of her life,well in doing so cured her and she lived a long,loving life, this Vet saved my family, no other Vet previous could ever come close to this level of care and knowledge. Yesterday I had to make the worst phone call of my life, to put my Sydney down, she too with her sister lived an amazing life, giving me the gift of unconditional love. This was a very traumatic loss for me as this would be the loss of my whole family as I knew it in just the span of a year and a half. The entire staff took such good care of me, I was an emotional wreck. The compassion, empathy and kindness they all gave me was nothing short of amazing. I left sobbing but I also left knowing that there are truly many great and wonderful people in this World, these are some of them. We had a chicken emergency and our local animal and bird hospital was over booked. They referred us to Salmon Brook Vet (45 mins away) and even though they too were booked for the day they still told us we could bring her in and she would get seen. They were kind and courteous, and took excellent care of our chicken. We’re so grateful they were willing to help us or our chicken would’ve suffered a whole day with a broken leg before our own vet could’ve seen her. I highly recommend Salmon Brook Veterinary Hospital.
