Dr. Lanza is just the best. She explains things with the perfect amount of detail while also making the information accessible and actionable. I always come away feeling really great about the care plan for our dog. She's friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and just has a really nice way about her. I've interacted with one other vet at the practice and would strongly recommend going with Dr. Lanza. The staff is also very courteous and helpful, and the check-in/checkout process is super efficient. A great customer/patient experience all around.

IMO Dr. Ragan is the go to Vet in the area. He genuinely has a passion for what he does and really cares for your pets as if they were his own, he even offered to be available when I asked if he could help euthanize my ferret who was having some hard days suffering from cancer when the time was right, instead of me driving to Bedford, NY where my ferrets specialty vet is located, and they only see cats and dogs at this particular clinic. Being a pet owner most of my life, my experience with Vets is that some Veterinarians get burned out, or dissociate with your animal and rush through. Not Dr. Ragan. I trust his opinion, concerns and diagnosis'. Not only does he continue to learn about new advances in pet health and treatments, but he is a pro with German Shepherds :) I highly recommend him

Our german shepherd has a lot of anxiety when going to the vet. VCA Darien is super accommodating and I wouldn't trust our dog to any other vet. They might be a bit on the pricer side, but totally worth it.

Very good support staff. Efficient, knowledgeable and professional. The actual medical care was very good. But a great doctor with a terrible office staff is so often the case in human medical care. Bring your dog here and hope one day they takes humans.

Decades of taking care of our Boxers. There is no one better doctor over another, they are all amazing. Let’s not forget about the office front line troops, you know who you are... the entire staff is top notch and still has that community environment even though they are part of the VCA network.

The staff, and the doctors at VCA are the best. They are very friendly, helpful, and the prices low.

We are out of town and needed a vet to check one of our dogs. We called and they told us to come on in. From the office staff, vet tech, and Dr. Pope, we could not have found more thoughtful staff. Best very hospital around. They love your pets as much as you do.

I used to use them for my dog, but when I called in an emergency, when my dogs foot got run over, they said they were busy and to call back tomorrow. I called Norwalk and they understood the seriousness of the situation and took us right away. I won’t be going back to VCA. To be fair, this is not a problem with the doctors, it’s with the front line staff.

The team is super helpful, its' easy to get an appointment, wait times are brief and the vets are wonderful. We have two dogs and the care is wonderful! And home delivery!

Dr.'s are great but support staff is rough and rude, plenty of great vets in the area. Don't waste your time.

Excellent place highly recommended. My dog had a growth in her paw which they removed. And she recovered prefect. She's 12 and still runs around like a puppy.

Lots of shady parking, which I so appreciate when I have my dogs in the car! Friendly people greet you, very clean, very accomodating re appt availability. I'm a new client there so no review of actual services yet but so far, so good!

Dr. Ragan is an excellent vet. Nitro loves his vet and they have a unique relationship, which to me is priceless.

Dr. Cline is the best! From the first visit I had, he was patient with me and happily answered all of my questions. He really cares about your animal and takes care of them as if it was his own. I have recently moved away and it is so hard to find a vet you trust. This animal hospital and Dr. Cline will truly be missed.

They take good care of our pets

The staff at VCA Darien are friendly and customer service oriented. My cat Atticus Finch has been a patient of Dr. Regan's since 2009. He is warm, compassionate and truly cares about your four legged family members. I live in Greenwich but choose to travel to Darien just for Dr. Regan and the staff at VCA Darien even though VCA Davis is closer.
