I recently changed veterinary hospital as we had been with another for several years and had concerns with too many changes and quality of care with our old hospital. We were absolutely amazed at the difference immediately with not only the quality of care but also the professionalism of all the staff. They are all very thoughtful and thorough with plan of care. We were welcomed with open arms and even required a last minute appointment which they were able to squeeze us in. We were also amazed on how they are respectful of our time as well! They take the time to answer all questions/concerns I have and share their advanced knowledge. I haven't always lived in the area, but I've always entrusted the care of my pet(s) to Clinton Veterinary Hospital.

I've been bringing my pets here my entire life, such an awesome and caring staff. Through life long care, procedures, and end of life care they are always wonderful to work with. 10/10 recommend!!

Appointment was avaialble quickly and our dog was professionally cared for for a reasonable price.

Don’t bother calling to find out how much it costs to spay or neuter your cat. You have to pay for an appointment before they will give you the cost. I have no idea if it would be $300 or $50.

So accommodating, thoughtful, and thorough! We and our fur babies love them! My cat had an urgent need for care and I wasn’t able to get him into his crate at the time of his appointment. The team managed to squeeze us in an hour later and he is on the mend!

Dr. Price and the CVH staff always give my kitty Bonnie Grace the best care. I appreciate the thoughtfulness, kindness and compassion given to all who enter the office even those of us without paws. I trust the care of Bonnie Grace to no one else. CVH is a unique and awesome place. Dr. Price is the best ! That is why I travel from Wallingford, Ct. to CVH. Always worth the trip for peace of mind.

I just moved to the area and took my two dogs here for their annual check up. They were very professional .A couple weeks later one of my dogs wasn’t feeling well they saw her that day and took care of her problem. Dr. Cosgrove and the whole staff were great I would highly recommend them.

Everything started when I rescued a beautiful Chihuahua, back in March, 2019. She needed eye surgery and since the rescue was paying for it I had to drive her to Clinton, CT I live in Stratford and it is a 40 minutes ride (without traffic) and I most say from the very moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed and after Baby’s surgery and visits and experienced the professionalism, the way they treated us the way they answered my questions, Dr. Santelli would call me personally to ask about Baby’s status after surgery, I decided to switch doctors and included my other pup, I must say after unpleasant experiences at other animal hospitals, I am extremely satisfied with Clinton Veterinary Hospital services, not only from Dr. Santelli but all of their staff, they are very professional, compassionate and understanding, they have exceeded all my expectations and I am more than happy and willing to drive those 40 minutes for my babies to get the care they deserve. I highly recommend them. Thank you.

The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and they truly care about the pets.

Everyone at this clinic is wonderful. Vets take their time explaining the visit. They don't try to upsell a bunch of stuff. Kind and gentle, reasonably priced, & excellent quality care.

The entire staff At CVH is amazing. I drive all the way from Branford because I know that everyone at CVH genuinely cares for my feisty french bulldog Ethel. Even Ethel bounds out of the car when we arrive because she thinks going to the vet is like a party. Highly recommend! See for yourself.

Since we moved to the Shoreline, we have had our two rescues , Penny and Rocky, cared for by this loving and efficient staff. Everyone there, including the veterinarians, are passionate about providing excellent care. The husband and wife veterinarian owners have 6 dogs . Enough said, They treat yours like they treat theirs.

I’ve been going here now for about a year with my cat I have to say this is truly one of the best places I was told to come and it’s so true they truly are an amazing team. We dealt with a doctor name Zack Cosgrove and his assistant Jessica who took amazing care of my cat Prince. They were so informative as to what was wrong and what I could expect. If you’re thinking of bringing your animal here you’re making the right decision, they will always treat your animal like they were there very own pet. Avoid taking your pets here at all costs. Attempted to get a simple prescription filled for my cat and the doctor sent me home with a giant chewable dog pill. Had to call back over five times to get in touch with the doctor who told me that he didn’t even know cat pills existed for the type of medication we needed. Clearly uneducated and unprofessional. Not the first problem i’ve had with this vet but definitely will be the last! Update: After leaving this review I received a letter that said they would no longer be treating my animals. I called to ask about it because we were in need of a prescription filled before a new vet could take us and the doctor left me an angry voicemail where she called my review “abusive” multiple times but gave no actual explanation. I’m not surprised seeing how they’ve responded to criticism in the past but this is a new low. If professionalism is important to you, id suggest going literally anywhere else!
