Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital gets it. They provide exceptional customer service, they really do care about you and your pet/s, and they provide a professional and welcoming first class environment. Roaring Brook will confirm your appointment in advance, provide a checklist of vaccines/shots that your dog should get (things we were unaware of that are important), and they call you after your appointment to see how everything is going. We took our four month old puppy Gucci there and she felt very comfortable once she entered as they have snacks out for dogs. Dr. Bloom was great with her as well and he gave us some helpful pointers on what to do with her diet. This is the only veterinary hospital we will go to.

I trust Roaring Brook with my pets. I have been with another vet in Avon for a while, but I was not happy the way things were handled, and decided to switch. Two of my high risk dogs needed dental work, and Roaring Brook treated them both with such care. I was very pleased as there was no complications and the recovery was so quick. One is a small chihuahua and the other was a senior greyhound. The staff here as well as the doctor show compassion, it was so obvious how much they cared. After my dogs healed they were so different, they were happy running around again and being more alive. Another one of my dogs had a swollen eye and again the care we received was outstanding. I trust everyone here and will continue our relationship as long as I keep rescuing. My biggest appreciation for this practice is the display of affection when we had to say goodbye to two of our dogs. The doctor came to our house, we didn’t have to bring them to the office and we respectfully said our goodbyes where they were comfortable. Shortly after we received a condolences card signed by all, that was such a kind gesture. They truly care! We have moved closer to NYC but my 1.5 hours drive is worth the quality of care my fuzzy angels receive.

I have been with Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital for over 30 years. It is a great place with great staff and doctors. I have had emergency situation which was handle with the most care and service for my pet.

Visited Roaring Brook today for routine visit. Saw Dr. Bloom. He was informative and caring…I would recommend him. Of course this was a routine visit not an emergency situation.

We've been goin gto RBVH for more than 20 years using their vet, grooming and boarding. We've never been anything but raving fans. Even after we moved two hours away we've continued to go back for all grooming and vet visits for 5 years now. They are by far one of the best. They care about your pets. They know how to work with them. I took one of our pets to a local vet for an ear infection just after we moved and they manhandled my dog to the point of traumatizing him. Never again. We realized we have something special with RBVH and will stay with them!

Our dog had a sudden mystery illness and we were having a hard time finding a vet to see her on such short notice until we tried Roaring Brook. They scheduled our visit within 30 minutes of our call. They did a great job communicating even over the phone because of COVID restrictions. They understood that we had a limited budget and the doctor came up with several different courses of action for us. Kind and understanding staff that helped save our dog! Thank you!

The best practice ever! The kindest and most professional staff! I can call anytime with questions and they are always helpful, My dog is a mastiff and he loves all the girls and they all are him. We are blessed to have these people caring for Anchor!

We have 3 senior pets in the house and the staff at RB always manages to schedule them same day when I call in a panic. They obviously care about all their patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I’ve been to Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital a few times for my puppy Prince and I am impressed with all the Staff crew such as Sarah , Sarafina , Ashley, Alicia , Kelly to name a few along with Dr. Begg . They are very helpful and they are not pushy nor rude . I like how they don’t try to force vaccinations but leave it to the owner to make the choice . The doctor along with Staff also help me cure my puppy dandruff problem by recommending fish oil and flaxseed oil along with a well balance diet and it worked perfectly . There are also other Doctors there as well such as Dr. Ellsworth , Dr. Melvin, Dr. Nassa . I believe you and pet are going to enjoy the experience at Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital ????????

My daughter called days ago about her Sick guinea pig and was told she would get a call back asap as it was an emergency. Here we are a week later 6 different vet calls and no one could help. Now we have a dead pet and a devastated child. Disgusting display of “professionalizm” I have ever seen

I want to thank the staff for helping take care of our elderly rescue Runi for the past two years. We were in there so many times that they get to know you. When it was time to let go I called Sarah as she knows us from many visits. I booked a time to put him down and withdrew it the day before. We didn't think he was ready. A few days later we made the final decision and I called her again. I had witnessed her crying one time when I was there after a pet had been put down. She said Im sorry, this never gets easy ( sincere heartbreak ). As busy as they are, Sarah booked us in with sympathy and understanding knowing all we had gone through with him. This is all part of owning any pet and they see it every day, EVERY Day. I want the owners to know that you have a very special employee in Sarah, she sincerely cares for the people, the pets and has passion for her job. Sarah is an asset to the company. Abbie's annual check up went well. Dr. Nasser was thorough with her recommendations on our weight management mission and made sure all our questions were answered. Over the years, we have never been disappointed with the care we receive at RBVH. Although we miss the personal touch with Covid19 restrictions, we know our pets are in good hands. The entire staff is extremely competent.

We used to utilize all facets of this facility.Four years ago I would have given Roaring Brook 10 stars. Place has gone downhill. Will never utilize their services again. I encourage pet owners to do careful research. Whole place has fallen apart.

Staff is upbeat, positive, energetic, and amazing! Went with my dog and my 5 year old kid the other day, they kept my son entertained and were very accommodating and welcoming! Had a great experience with everyone there! Will definitely be going back with my dog.

The vets themselves do a really great job, however the entire place is overpriced for what it is. They overcharge as well as throw on other bills that you request NOT to do. I highly recommend finding another business that doesn’t overcharge.
