I had extremely high hopes about this vet, over the phone the lady was wonderful and they were willing to book me out an appointment to secure I had one...but when I went in with my 5 month old golden it was a nightmare. The vet tech did not speak to me about anything regarding my pet, all she did was try and make me sign up for their care club membership. Which would have been fine, if she wasnt wrong about the price and everything the program covered. Then the vet came in preaching the same thing, didn't introduce herself to my dog and went right into checking out my dogs teeth and mouth. She growled at her, which is extremely unlike the breed and my puppy...but to be expected when you don't introduce yourself and the dog is unfamiliar with you and the clinic. They told me all my dogs vaccinations were wrong and had to be re done (which I got a second opinion on and spoke to the breeder about). Turns out I didn't have to get them all re done and I spent 200 dollars for no reason. I ended up finding a vet that my pup and I both love. No growling , no over charging and no care club pass shoved down my throat the entire visit.

I moved here from Florida and was upset I had to move away from my family Veterinarian. My dog Dexter has to be seen every four weeks due to a minor issue he has. From the first day Dexter was seen, I knew I found our new family Vet. I was so moved by the fact they even gave Dexter a toy along with my Boxer who was in the car. It’s the little things like this that makes me know they already care and love animals. I am extremely comfortable and trust my dogs Dexter & Mya to come here. Thank you for all you do!!!

Don't call yourself an animal hospital if you don't do emergency care.

We would like to say thanks to VCA for taking a look at our kitten on May 2nd during late hours. (Akechi) who was having issues with teething. With a quick examination the Vet felt there was no need for a full examination. No charge. Very grateful for the honesty & guidance.

They do a great job

VCA Bristol Animal Hospital like always took a good care of my precious cat. The Dr. and the staff are awesome ,I'm very happy .

Excellent care for my dog and very attentive to the questions I had before our dogs neuter.

I love this place. They are the only vet I have taken my 90lb pitbull to that hasn’t immediately put a muzzle on him. I can’t say enough good things

Staff are always very pleasant and caring to both their customers and animal clients. I highly recommend anyone to bring their family fur ball here if you're looking to have them looked at with care.

I just want to say thank you to everyone a VCA Animal Hospital I need you the day that I have to put my Pomeranian Nemo down my baby boy how I miss him so much I'm so lost without him everyone was so compassionate there and caring and the day that I came in to pay to have my baby boy cremated they gave me time with him alone and it really helped me for that closure it meant so much to me from the bottom of my heart I don't remember all the names I just want to thank you so much for what you've done for me Cathy Rogers

My dog was sick. They were open late,and saw her right away. Very loving doctor and staff. They even called to check on her the next day. Medicine and prayers worked Amen.

First time there with our cat for shots and to have nails clipped. Covid regulations have them coming out to your car to fetch your fur baby while you wait outside. They were prompt and professional. Vet called when appointment was done to give us an update.

They got us in for an emergency.

I only was there as support for a friend whose companion of 17 years had become very sick and no doubt succumbing to his condition. The staff offered little to minimal support as well as bold faced lied as to what was to be expected of the procedure. A very delicate suggestion for me to be asked to rate suggested of my maps. I'm certain there are other places to be considered. Best of luck!!

I can't say enough nice things about how wonderful Bristol VCA and the staff there are. We had our 1st visit today and it was a great experience from beginning to end. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful and the doctor was very patient answering my questions. my puppy absolutely loved them! Would highly recommend to everyone!

There prices are crazy high!!

I didn't have the opportunity to use the service, my dog wasn't extreme pain but they would not take me because I was not already a customer. I find that to be poor customer service especially since I offered to make Ava my service dog a regular customer of theirs, I do not give bad reviews for no reason.

My husky, Daisey loves to go there. The entire staff is wonderful and they do really show the love for the anaimals they care for. Thank you VCA of Bristol

They have developed a great curbside system to get our furry ones in and out with as little stress as possible. They also have contactless payment.

Caring staff that looks out for the welfare of your pets. They keep excellent records so anytime you need the pet's shot records, they are available. We're lucky to have them as our hometown vet

This place doesn't care about your animals. They just want to charge you as much money as they can while doing as little as possible. This place is disgusting.

Thanks to the great staff of VCA Bristol Animal Hospital my Mimi is one happy and healthy kitty! Both of us receive a healing and it starts when we enter the front door and the exceptional care continues with everyone who helps us!

Had an awesome experience here at the VCA in Bristol CT. The staff took care of my dog with kindness and love! The vet and the rest of the staff where supportive and helpful!
