Funny my review disappeared . Dr. Compton performed a procedure on my cat without my permission. He came home limping.. She told me it was arthritis... She puctured his bladder with a needle .. My best friend for almost 15 years..I had him from 7 weeks old.. I AM HEART BROKEN... She knew he was sick and an indoor cat and still insisted on a 3 yr. rabbi shot..He was only a month over due HE TRUSTED ME TO CARE FOR HIM I MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE TRUSTING HER PLEASE BE AWARE I plan on pursuing this????????????????

Great vets and excellent staff. No better place in Ct. to take your pet for any health issues or just a vheck up.

Horribly inept. Wasted years of borderline malpractice servicing Couldnt correctly diagnose my poor doggy. Worst bet in my life stay far far away

Took absolutely amazing care for my dog..would recommended this place for sure. Friendly and caring workers.

Everyone was super nice. It's located literally right off the highway exit. They are accommodating when setting appointments. I believe the Vet Dr. we saw is Dr. Compton. I was referred to her by a family member. I like her & my cat was relatively calm there. I'm glad I went. Lastly, their prices are affordable, and you don't feel like you're having all your money taken away when checking out. It's just a nice comfortable atmosphere.

Dr Hoppy. Yup that's what he wants you to call him. His care and concern for our dog, goes above and beyond, what I expected. His bed side manner is superior to many human doctors. He makes sure that our concerns are addressed in a manner that we understand. Hoppy loves what he does, and it shows in the way he handles and talks to our puppy. His follow up is unbelievable. How about a phone call the next morning at 7:00. Both we and our puppy love this man. The same respect is shown by all of his support staff. In all fairness I have not dealt with the other doctors , so I can't speak for their professionalism etc., Taking your pet to a vet can be a an expensive visit, but in this case, I feel that we get great value for this expense. Pet owners will understand what I mean. What ever it takes for puppy. Needless to say, I highly recommend Connecticut vet to everyone. A 10 out of 5 star rating.

Very disappointed with the follow up response. I was due test results on a Saturday and received no call. If they did not have the results they should have called to let me know. I had to call Monday AM and was told the Vet was out of the office and results were emailed directly to her so they were unable to give them to me. She was working on Tuesday am and I WAS TOLD TO CALL the West Hartford location where she is working. 3 calls during the day and still no response as to the blood work results from Saturday. Maybe I should have held my payment til I received the results and see how that would have gone over with them. DO NOT RECOMMEND and will find another local Vet who cares about the animals and their humans!

We've used these doctors for well over a decade and have always had good experiences with them. They and the staff have treated us with respect and care. I have no complaints.

Make it short the little kitten was put to sleep, after he broke his leg few days ago. First visit, emergency room pay but didn't even take x-ray, just told me that his leg is like that because he possibly has diahheria because his rectum was out, because kitty probably has worms Are you kidding me. That is supposed to be a DOCTOR with experience. I mean she looked young but c'monn KITTEN had broken rear LEG. How can you miss it. Today was my second visit. I couldnt believe myself. I mean I am not a doctor and I could tell his leg was broken, therefore today i asked to have xray taken and my fears were assured. It was a broken rear leg, had to put kitty to sleep Either way they should reinburse me my first emergency visit where they didn't do anything but gave me two meds to take home, and the first doctor i seen should get laid off.I can't speak for every doctor there but i guess its time to shop around. BTW I went to Kensington office. Also their surgeon is out so I asked if they have substitute, answer NO. you have to wait or go to some other clinic such is their 24h emergency service. Now if it comes to giving vaccinations, defleaing and grooming, Every clinic can do that. I mean it doesn't have to be the doctor. But all these veterinary so called hospitals all they do is give shots and defleaing. If it comes down to serious care, and real emergency. these fools wouldnt know what to do but they advertise as emergency clinic. So what is the emergency for them? defleacing? or dewarming? because if surgeon out for next two weeks, and no substitute surgeon even exists. how you gonna handle reall emergency, like car accident like in my kitty. I paid emergency fee for having my cat dewarmed. and I can go on and go on.
