The vet is a little intense- gave me somewhat of a scolding because I feed my dog human food …but she is very knowledgeable and I know she is an expert and my dog loves her.

Incredible level of attention, Dr. Vangi and her staff are very caring and they really care about you and your pet, they go the extra mile to make sure you get everything you need, I needed to travel with my pet and needed a health certificate, they not only took care of that but give me a list of what I would need, even weighted my carrier to make sure it had the proper dimensions!!! If you want a Dr. that really cares come see Dr. Vangi

BE WARNED THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU AND OFFER THINGS FOR YOUR PET YOU DONT EVEN NEED. PLEASE DO RESEARCH WITH OTHER PLACES BEFORE COMING HERE. MY ORIGINAL VET CHARGED ME $500 FOR MY DOGS SURGERY AND THIS PLACE CHARGED ME OVER 1,000$.

Truth Hurts

So a few weeks ago I came to this vet for a quote to remove my dogs fatty tissue lump on her stomach. I was told they need to see my dog first to get her in the system and run the usual tests. This costs me 250$ or so and the quote was around 1,000$. A few days go by and I get a call saying they will not except me as a client and kept giving me excuses but they quick to take my 250$ payment!! Anyway I went back to my original vet down the street called Garrison Animal Clinic and got the same surgery done for 500$!! Please do your research before coming here because I honestly think WestRidge is more worried about the paycheck they get and not the pets needs. Why would the same surgery cost double here than what I paid at my vet?? MONEY HUNGRY SCAM ARTISTS.

Took my 15 year old cat to the wheat ridge location and at first thought we had a good experience. Treatment plan was extensive and very expensive. We knocked out a ton of recommended items and I am learning that they were not all necessary. Her teeth were in poor condition and their OUTSIDE dental hygienist did a great job. However, I have since learned that I could have done the procedure for half of the cost at another facility using the same hygienist. Our kitty also suffers from allergies. The doctor here recommended we deploy antibiotics and get an allergy panel. I was starting to get concerned about cost since we are well over 2k by now without a resolution. On the follow up visit the doctor bullied me and implied that I do not care well for my animals. She insisted we perform more blood tests and in office antibiotics shots. Each visit to the office costs more and more... Starting to get the picture? 1.) there is an inexpensive antibiotic that works better and can be deployed from home. Its just cheap! 2.) believe it or not cats can take benadryl. 10mg a day and her allergies are gone! No need for expensive allergy therapies. When I asked for additional solutions to our situation, I was met with the bullying. The Dr. never mentioned that these other therapies existed. We sought out 2nd opinions from two other vets and both agreed that her diagnoses was over blown. We just had her blood work redone as we were told by Westridge she had stage one kidney disease. We have been buying KD food from them for 2 years.... Guess what... She does NOT have kidney disease. I care very much for my animals and they live long fruitful lives because of it. Avoid this place and find another doctor who is more interested in your pets health than there bottom line. Note: I hate giving negative reviews, but this place deserves it! Good luck!

Great service, very accommodating to our emergency visit. They took care of my Tomathy with excellent communication as to exactly what was going on and up to date on prices of procedures.

I love this vet! My first experience with them was excellent. Another vet had diagnosed my cat incorrectly with a potentially deadly condition. Dr. Vangi went over and beyond to find the root of the cause of her symptoms. Turned out she had an infection and was dehydrated. One does of antibiotics and some hydration, and my cat was back to normal in one day. I will definitely be transferring the rest of my pets here.

Been coming here since 2014. Vets are very nice and our pets are very comfortable when they come here.

Vangi is the best vet ever. She is the most thorough vet I've ever taken my babys to she makes sure she covers everything. As well as explaining all she has or is gunna have to do. & all the techs & assistants are just as wonderful. Thank u guys for everything! I know my 4 brats r definitely not the easist to care for but u always do a great job no matter what it takes.

I had a good experience here but I was a tad disappointed that I never received a sympathy card from them for my dog who I took there for euthanasia July 27. Maybe that's not standard anymore? Or may e they did and didn't have my address correct. I can forgive it. Just a tad disappointed. I worked in vet med for years and would always write and send the sympathy card the day of.

Dr. Vangi and her team are amazing. My cat recently got out of the hospital for lily ingestion and we have been taking her here for continued care to make sure that her kidneys are okay. My regular vet was unable to see my cat, Kendrick, for follow up labs. I called Westridge since they are very close to me and they were able to get her in that day. It was super nice of them to accept a new patient that same day. They've seen her a few times after that and have showed us how to give her fluids for the next couple of weeks. I really, really appreciate all of their help and they've just been so informative and wonderful to deal with through this tough time. Best vet I've ever been to - and looks like I will be switching vets! Thank you so much Westridge!

This Veterinarian Hospital is the absolute best. I trust their techs and their vets 100%. They have been through a lot of highs and lows with us over the years. Only reason we switched vets is because we moved to the U.K. :0)

Dr. Kelly Vangi and Westridge were a blessing to us. We recently purchased a sweet puppy from a not so sweet breeder as it turns out and I called around to many veterinarians to see if anyone would be able to see her last minute because we had a ridiculously pricy dental estimate for an extraction necessary for a genetic malformation (totally caused by the breeding). Kelly took my call, listened to me, asked so many questions, wanted to know the whoooole story and really really cared about little Mochi’s future. She wasn’t even her vet but wanted us to send her photos and medical results so she could give a second opinion just because she wanted to make sure she could help our little puppy. She even interrupted her lunch break so she could see her in person and make sure the extensive extraction was necessary due to our concerns. I never knew anyone could be so generous and caring. It’s no wonder she’s a vet!

I brought my dog from Texas after adopting her from a rescue shelter. I was told by the shelter that she was positive for heartworm. I took her to Dr. Vangi for her yearly shots and she retested her for heartworm to make sure before I had to pay alot of money to treat her. Dr. Vangi did the on-site testing and also sent it to an outside facility at no extra charge to me. I was so pleased to find out that my Buttercup was negative for heartworm and Dr. Vangi saved me money that I didn't have to treat my furbaby.

Will never take my animals there again. Dr vange bullied me into buying her dog food, it made my dog sick. Just so she can charge me 300$ for 1 x ray and the rest to fix her screw up. This place is only in it for money. They will try to tell you that your pets food is dangerous to its health, to scare you into buying the pet food brand that she is payed to sell. Absolutley under no circumstances take your animal here. She is not there to help . Only to make money.

I highly recommend this Veterinarian! All of the staff were extremely compassionate when I had to say goodbye to my cat. They didn't pressure or rush me with my decision. Will definitely bring any other animal I may get to this office!!

great stuff, great people, treat my dog exceptionally well. I have been going here for a couple years now. Their prices are reasonable also, not like another vet clinic in the area.
