These folks set an appt. with us for a Monday, 7:30am. Turns out, they are not even open on Mondays...who does that? To top that, they now inform us they are not accepting new clients; this, after waiting a month for a bogus appointment...epic failure, on their part!!

Out of the few places I called, this was the only place that either answered their phone or returned a message, so that's a big win over their competitors. They were very sweet to my typhlotic pup, and gave me good information on how to continue to treat his condition. The staff appear to be very compassionate.

Everyone was incredibly nice, friendly and professional. It was our first visit and I felt so comfortable! I left with a very clear understanding of my 12 year old dog's diagnosis and of the medications to use. One of the best vet experiences I've had in my many years as an animal owner!

We had an emergency for our dog and they provided wonderful care. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and Dr. Hammond is patient and explains what he is seeing and treating. I would highly recommend taking your pet here!

The people at Eye Clinic Veterinary have helped my dog keep his eye sight for five years and counting. Very thankful to have such a knowledgeable vet to take my dog to.

Helpful, knowledgeable DVM and Techs. Easy access and parking for Social Distance hand offs. The patient, my 9 year old dog, seems happy and comfortable. The doctor and assistants were thorough in explaining the after care at home to me.

Excellent doctor! Very caring and thorough, communicated with my cat's oncology vet and coordinated his care with her to heal his corneal ulcer before he received another cancer treatment. Fair prices as well. Friendly and kind staff.

I loved it because they helped my dog, Brody get an alsar out of his eye. He recovered in a couple of weeks and now he is all better

Dr. Hammond is a wonderful doctor, he took care of my basset hound a few years back and now my granddaughters Lhasa also has glaucoma, he's been going blind slowly for a while but dr Hammond prescribed medication to help slow down the process, just this last week we got right in because his eye was extremely worse. Dr. Hammond checked the pressure in his eye and got him in for surgery right away! He said if our eye pressure was that high we would be immediately placed in the hospital with a serious headache, Harlow was in pain and Dr. Hammond cares about the animals (all of them) I can't believe that he would turn any animal away. Thank you for caring for our animals Dr. Hammond!

My veterinarian recommended this practice after examining my dog’s eyes. Dr. Hammond immediately confirmed my suspicion about my dog being blind. He suggested another test to determine whether or not the cause was due to a brain tumor or aneurysm. Fortunately, neither was the case. The bottom line is that I highly recommend this practice!!

These folks are amazing. We had an emergency visit and we had to get in QUICK. They took great care of our little Harry and it was as great an experience as you can have at the vet for an emergency. Real care and quality. Dr Hammond is awesome.

Dr. Hammond is an amazing veterinary opthalmologist. He's kind, calm, and extremely knowledgeable. He treats your pets like family and always goes above and beyond for your furry family member. My corgi, Finnegan, loves him so much he waits at the door for him to come in the room.

Our dog has been under Dr. Hammond’s care for over 2 years now, and we couldnt be happier. He saved her eye when she somehow got a thorn lodged in it, and then a year later diagnosed her with pannus and has been treating it successfully with steroid eye drops. Emily (at the front) is wonderful, kind and professional; and Dr. Hammond is an excellent veterinary ophthalmologist who takes time to answer all our questions and did a remarkable job on her eye surgery. highly recommended!

Dr. Hammond and his entire staff are a pleasure to work with. They are kind, compassionate, and caring. Dr. Hammond is extremely thorough and helped to restore my dog's eye sight after he lost it due to an autoimmune disease. They treat my dog as if he's part of the family. If I could rate them more than five stars, I would!

This clinic refused to make an appointment for my boarder collie whom is part of our family and urgently having severe eye issues. As reported by the clinic, they do not partake in second opinions as my dog was currently being treated by another doctor and therefore is not as critical as other issues. This seem illogical considering the circumstances of the situation; I am disheartened by their lack of willingness to help to find a solution and turning down a dog in distress. All I want to do is save his eye sight.

Why a wondrous hospital with superlative experience and care for animals. With decades of practice and education behind his back Dr. Hammond excels in standard ophthalmic procedures to the most extensive emergencies. Staff is friendly as the day is long and always willing to work with your schedule and ease your experience, "after all, vision for your dog is not a soft-spoken predicament." Mickey and Sydney always enjoy themselves there, as the staff show overwhelming enthusiasm and love towards any pet and treat them as their own.

The best experience ever for my dog. My dog had an ocular dermoid which was going to cost my me about $1700, so I really wanted to make sure I did my research. After doing extensive research, I decided to go with Dr. Hammonds. I am so happy I chose Dr. Hammond because he cared for my pooch as if it was his own. It's a family business so you'll meet his wife and daughter along the way, but they are amazing as well! So happy I found the Eye Clinic.

Words can't express how amazing this place is. The best vet I have ever meet. They explain everything to ya step by step. I'm so lucky I found the eye clinic or my dog would have gone blind.

Affordable, compassionate, expert care. My fox terrier needed eye surgery and Dr. Hammond and his staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend this clinic for any pet with an eye problem.

Very fortunate to have such a great doctor in the metro area. My pooch would have definitely been blind without his help.

I found the eye clinic through the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists, and there are very few ophthalmologists in our area. When I called to make an appointment I was told by your snotty receptionist that the vet does not allow or take appointments for second opinions and we should go back to the first doctor we saw. Last year after a costly visit at VRCC we were told our dog's glaucoma would not affect her in her lifetime. She now is visibly uncomfortable, has discharge in one of her eyes, and the white spots on both of her eyes have spread. Shame on you eye clinic, for telling us to go back to a place that has a monopoly on specialty care, VRCC, which several families are having bad experiences with, refusing our dog and her chance to get a second opinion and therefore causing her more suffering as we continue to search for vets specializing in ophthalmology. I've never heard of ANY doctor, vet or otherwise, telling patients they can not be seen if they are coming to you for a second opinion. Also, fix the typos on your site, very unprofessional.
