These guys are amazing. They corrected a mistake made by the vet in days and got my pup walking again. Thanks so much OrthoPets team.

Must’ve changed ownership or something recently because even our PT vet said they’ve been recommending another company out of state. We got our brace through our vet, but the quality of the brace was received was CHEAP - cheap plastic, cheap foam, parts that were glued is already coming off, and it was SUPER bulky and heavy. My dog also doesn't walk like a normal dog due to a deformity in her leg (which is why she needs the brace....) and despite sending multiple x-rays of her unique bone structure and videos of her walking pattern, they didn't make the brace to accommodate for her deformity and different walking style... it's made for a dog who doesn't have a leg deformity. What in the world!!?! And now it's $200+ for each adjustment after paying $1,300 for the brace. What a joke.

Bought a very expensive brace from them. A bad design, toe of boot catches everything and hurt my dog further. Sent them an email an they did not have the courtesy to even respond.

I can't possibly say enough positive about Ortho Pets! Their attentiveness, personable approach and genuine character will keep me connecting with them for a long time. Their experience and proper course of treatment, for my large dog, was exactly what he needed to, quite literally, get back on his feet. I would (and have) recommended to them to so many pet owners, and I'll continue to so. You will love them!

The Orthopets brace saved our dogs active life! We are extremely grateful and thankful that this company creates such amazing devices. Duke tore his CCL - he's older and extremely sensitive. He's also very active. Our vet suggested …

though we have just started with the process I find Orthopets to be unresponsive and borderline rude. My Vet says they are pleasant to her, too bad it is me who paid the bill and is dealing with a lame dog. After 4 surgeries we decided to put our dear Honey in a brace as she was unable to support herself on her front left paw. From the very get they have been very resistant to any thing I have asked of them . My dog now is wearing her brace and hopping on 3 legs so she doesn't have to put the brace on the ground. It is rubbing and causing her to bleed. I paid the price for their sleeve but they sent the wrong size. They won't replace it until I jump through hoops for them. I left a message today for the owner, and was informed that she is rarely in the office and will get back to me pretty much when she feels like it. I find it incredible that a company operating on the premise of helping pets is so blind to the actual needs of their clients. Orthopets as a group are callous to the parents of these pets, who are dealing daily with the physical troubles of their beloved furry babies. As a business owner myself I am always aware that the service I provide can be found everywhere and strive to make my customer experience positive, I would suggest to anyone needing a these services find someone else to give your business to. You can get these appliances in lots of places, why give your business to someone that really doesn't care.

I had an ACL injury 26 years ago, and have used a custom knee brace ever since. I switched to an off-loader knee brace for more than a decade to keep playing soccer. I am no stranger to orthotic devices and understand the value of them. …

My 13 year old lab tore his ACL. He tore his other knee about 7 years ago, we had surgery, and he recoverd totally. At 13, though, I knew surgery wasn't an option. I was so devastated. He wouldn't bear weight on that leg at all and he …

OrthoPets has helped my Husky recover from two cruciate injuries (each back leg). Their braces really work to support the injury while it heals - and it takes patience and time but it works as an alternative to cruciate ligament surgery. Also, they don't just sell you the bespoke brace - they follow up and help you get the progress you want for your pet. They're brilliant!

My lab-mix, Roscoe, has always been an active, crazy boy and despite being 13 he did not comprehend slowing down. Arthritis in a hock not only caused him pain but his leg would give out and there was not a surgical option. He has had his custom OrthoPets brace for over a year now and he is happily back to swimming and enjoying outings to open space. I feel that his brace bought him extra, quality years and for that I am grateful to everyone at OrthoPets!

My Greyhound, Adah, broke her let while a pup and the result was one hind leg was shorter than the other. To prevent her from getting arthritis in her hips and spine because of the imbalance, and to prevent damage to an overextended hock, Orthopets fabricated a prosthetic that added a little height and protected her joint. She now runs with the best of them, and without danger of a crippling injury or lameness when she gets old. Kudos for Dr. Mich and her team for their compassionate and very moral approach to animals and their problems.

My six-year old Blue Heeler was hit by a car and suffered a fractured pelvis, trauma to his sciatic nerve and spinal cord. Before we found OrthoPets we tried so many things on our own to try to get him to walk without dragging the top of his foot. The toe up boot was so simple and yet the best thing ever. The staff at OrthoPets and the liaison were great and still continue to be there when I need replacement parts or have questions.

Initially, the brace we got for our old girl was a very good thing. She could go for long walks and do anything she wanted, except sit. But eventually, it seemed to be causing her more problems than it solved. It seemed to be slipping and irritating her. And when she walked she curled the toes of the leg with the brace so they were scraping on the ground. She even fell down the stairs and landed on her good hip. We have stopped using the brace altogether and she seems to be doing just fine.

My Great Dane, Bandit, fractured her leg and it wasn't healing because she puts so much torque on her long bones... and she wouldn't lie still for several months to let it heal. After a full year and several surgeries, the the fracture was still not healing, I finally got an OrthoPets splint custom made to meet her needs. A team of specialists at OrthoPets collaborated with my vet to decide what was appropriate, given the type and location of her fracture. The OrthoPets people were really awesome throughout the process - helpful, attentive, responsive, and super knowledgeable. After 3 months with the brace, Bandit finally had enough healing at the fracture to be allowed out of the brace. OrthoPets has awesome people and the braces are excellent. Bandit got her leg and freedom back with that splint. I am very grateful.

Our dog (11 year old border collie) has torn her CCL. Due to her age and several surgeries with an unknown diagnosis that she had every few months during the last year we did not want to subject her to another surgery and opted for a brace. We are not local to OrthoPets and initially local orthopedic vets did the mold and fitted the brace. It did not go smoothly initially. The device made a blister on her skin and was painful for the dog to wear. It took sending the device back for adjustment twice before it fitted properly. During this time OrthoPets staff was very proactive, caring, and responsive. Now our dog does not mind the brace, and while we do not keep her in it all the time (the injury has mostly healed and while on the leash on smooth surface she does not need it) she wears it in the woods, and anywhere where we are not around.
