Shortly after my 100th birthday my 20 year old poodles (Princess) quality of life decreased dramatically and I was forced to make the difficult decision to help her along to Rainbow Bridge. Hone to Heaven was sensitive to my situation from my first call to Jackie, to James coming out. James was compassionate, sympathetic and concerned. James spent time with Princess before hand and explained the procedure to me before it happened. I am so grateful that I had Home to Heaven there for me during this difficult time. With Gratitude, Margaret

Dr. James was absolutely wonderful! Duke was in such good hands. Dr. James made a very sad situation into a positive and uplifting experience knowing that he will take care of Duke. He was so caring, loving and compassionate, he took his time. I highly recommend Heaven to Home to anyone who has to put their fur baby down. Thank you for everything. ❤

There aren't words to express how grateful our family is to James and Dr. Dove and the amazing team of Home to Heaven. They helped to turn one of the worst days of our life into a loving, peaceful, and pain-free experience for our beloved Lucy. We would recommend their services to anyone and everyone! God bless you and the work you do to ease the suffering of animals and their humans that are left behind.

Home to Heaven came to put our 19 year old kitty to sleep and I can't say enough about how wonderful and caring they were. Our vet Kristen was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations by far. She was compassionate and didn't rush the process but allowed us to talk about our cat, show her some photos and tell a couple stories. She communicated what was happening very well and made it such a peaceful experience for our family, our other cats and our kitty who is no longer with us. If you have the sad task of having to say goodbye to your pet, I wouldn't chose any other company to assist - they are the best <3

I could not be more grateful about how they made this very painful time so meaningful for all of us. Well beyond our highest expectations and they honored our dog, Domo, like he deserved. Thank you!!

Dr. James was fantastic! He came when he said he would, was kind, and knew just what to say to make me and my pup feel comfortable. I did not feel rushed and was happy that they took their time and was patient when I couldn't hold back my emotions anymore. If your best furry friend needs to take their next step, I highly recommend Home to Heaven. I also really appreciated the follow up after our appointment to make sure I was doing alright and that my dog's fur brother was doing alright too. They are there for the animals and their owners. Thank you so much Home to Heaven!

We used this service to put down our dog unexpectedly on a weekend day. I was so relieved to have this service available on short notice. It would have been horrible to have to wait until the next day or take our dog in the car to an emergency vet as it would have been very painful for her. It took a lot of stress out of that day. It did take some time to go through the on-call phone service, but I would still say the communication was excellent. The veterinarian that came out was very professional and did not rush us. I don't believe we would have gotten any better service at our primary vet.

Wow ! The caring and concern that we received was amazing. The woman who answered the phone helped tremendously. They were not able to get to us the same day but she helped me find someone else to help our Rex cross over the rainbow bridge. Highly recommend

This company was very responsive. I was able to book an appointment through Shay on the same day. All of the services they provided made this difficult time a lot easier for me and less stressful for my dog. Dr. James was the vet that completed the euthanasia and he was so respectful and kind. He explained everything as it happened and gave us plenty of time to tell our Chip goodbye. I chose personal aquamation and received the ashes within 5 days. I would definitely recommend this company and their people to anyone needing this option.

This was our first experience using Home to Heaven and their name aptly fits their business. Dr. James was so caring and kind, yet professional. I felt that he did an excellent job in meeting our needs and our baby's. There was no pain for our precious cat, just gentle hands, a kind voice, and then blessed final rest. We are so grateful.

A superb service that helps during a very difficult time. Scheduling was easy and all aspects of the service were explained clearly and fully. The veterinarian who came to our house was a consummate professional who cared about our pet and was respectful of our feelings. We wanted to spare our dog the trauma of going to a veterinary practice or hospital/clinic. Home to Heaven provided the ideal alternative. We would recommend this company to any pet owner.

This was such a wonderful service and made the transition for our senior dog so peaceful. The vet was very gentle and sweet. Highly recommend this for in home pet euthanasia.

Our vet was so incredibly compassionate and patient throughout the process, listening to our stories and giving us space and time when we needed it. Saying goodbye to a loyal friend is never easy, but the fine folks at Home to Heaven did their absolute best to change that.

Thank you Dr. James for your compassion and reassurance, and for the kindness you showed us and Shorty. And thank you for the way you run your business. Everything from the first conversation to the invoicing process was handled with great care and clearly designed to ease this difficult process.

Incredible loving empathetic people to help you through such a horrible time. All of the vets I have had to use in the past few years have been amazing, including Dr. James who helped me say goodbye recently to my girl Abbie. No other way to say goodbye to a best friend.

Would give 0 stars if possible. It took 2 days to call me back when my Tayzer was very ill and needed to cross over. When they finally called back I've never been spoken to so poorly about such a sensitive issue in my life! Very rude and …

Not sure why my previous review was not recommended through the Yelp review, but trying again so others may make a rational decision on how the want their pet put to sleep. I’m glad most that used this service provided by Home to Heaven had a good experience. I can not say that for my beloved cat. Painless it was not and knowing that my animal woke up with a loud “meow’ during the final injection sits in the back of my mind wishing I would have not put him through that. The veterinarian gal that performed the procedure was polite but it just seemed like she did not know what she was doing. She did explain to me it was a three shot process. The first shot being a local anesthetic to prepare for the second shot which she said was a barbiturate that relaxes the cat before the final injection so he would feel no pain. Everything was going fine up to this point. My cat was limp in my hands caressing his head while the vet was trying to find the location to administer the last and final injection. She had her hand clear up under my cats rib cage feeling around for I do not know what and looked as if she was beginning to look frustrated. While administering the last shot my cat woke up in pain with a loud “meow” which lasted only for a couple seconds than passed out again, a minute later he died in my hands. I’m not going to mention any names because other reviews had this veterinarian with high ratings. Just have to write it off as a bad statistic because I’m sure not all euthanasia procedures go 100% problem free. I just wish if there were complications that she would have told me so other means may have been taken. FYI To see the negative reviews on “Yelp” one must go all the way down to the bottom of the reviews and just below the “page” selection is a greyed out link “32 reviews for Home to Heaven that are not currently recommended” is where my original post was posted and is totally legitimate. I duplicated it and posted on “Google Reviews”. In response to: “Response from the owner”: *as to whom the veterinarian was: As I posted, “I’m not going to mention names”. Please look in your records 2019-10-17 in memory of “Tracks”. Veterinarian is still listed on your website. *the protocol: I just got done asking my wife if she remembered the veterinarian explaining the three shot process and replied “Yes”. *We do not use three steps and never have: I suggest you have a company meeting and find out if all your veterinarians are following the correct protocol. Scares me to think about your comments on protocol. *I just want to make sure that the correct information is out there: I’m trying to write it off as a bad statistic. I suggest you do the same and accept the bad review. I’m just letting others know that the outcome may not be as pleasant as what “Home to Heaven” advertises on their website. FYI For your reference “Tracks” picture is next to my user name.

They really were fantastic when we had to put our dog to rest. They were caring and helpful and were on time. I really wouldn't have wanted another vet to come help. The doctor was truly kind, understanding and helped put us at ease. The process was quick and easy and we still had time with our dog and our other animals got their chance to see him before he left. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Arnold was a very special dog and an integral part of our family. Home to Heaven made saying goodbye less traumatic not only for Arnold but for his family also. We would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Gupta for his service, empathy and patience during this difficult time.

Saying goodbye to our beagle in June was the hardest thing our family has ever had to do. Dr. Dye was very responsive on a Sunday afternoon so our girl didn't have to go through another hard night. He helped our family through this tough time, was very caring, and very professional. Would highly recommend this option and VERY highly recommend Home to Heaven.

Calling Home to Heaven to arrange for the at home euthanasia of my beloved dog was one of the hardest calls that I've ever had to make. The woman who answered the call helped me feel more at ease with her tone of voice and language. She was professional, but caring and understanding. Dr. Gupta came to perform the euthanasia. He was incredibly tender and compassionate with our old boy. The quiet respect and kindness that he showed us was very comforting. Home to Heaven works with another local company for the aftercare of the body. I just picked up my dog's ashes this afternoon and can say that the team at the aquamation facility seems to be yet another wonderful group of kind and caring individuals. I will certainly recommend Home to Heaven to anyone who is in the position of having to euthanize their pet. The whole process could not have gone better and I'm grateful that this service was an option for us.

Sadie was calm and pain free.. Dr Dove was patient, kind and compassionate... Sadie was on her elephant pillow, in her own living room, with her kitten laying on her paws.. I am extremely grateful.

Dr. James was incredibly compassionate and kind. It is obvious he adores animals and cares about the grieving family, too. He walks you through each step, gives as much time as you need. Highly recommend if you need end of life care for a pet.

Another hard night as Dr. Dye had to come and help us with our little beagle. She was 14 and developed seizures over the past week, four of which were witnessed yesterday. This is the third time we have used Home to Heaven and I cannot sing their praises enough. Compassion is the best way to describe all of the vets we have utilized. We called the service yesterday afternoon after deciding we couldn't let our little gir suffer any longer and the prospect of a future surgery for hyperparathyroid ectomy just became a moot point. Dr. Dye called and came out last night and helped us say goodbye with dignity, grace, and peace. We unequivcoally recommend this service for any family who is struggling with their pet. We thank God for their calling and compassion.

Home to Heaven made one of the most difficult experiences so much better. Dr. James came to our house and was so gentle and kind with our pup Cordi. He showed such incredible empathy and patience as our family said goodbye to our sweet girl. We can't thank Home to Heaven enough for all they did for our family.
